Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Wiederaufbereitung von gebrauchten Gießereisanden, welche mit Wasserglas verunreinigt sind, wobei: ein gebrauchter Gießereisand bereitgestellt wird, welcher mit einem auf Wasserglas basierenden Bindemittel behaftet ist dem ein teilchenförmiges Metalloxid und ein phosphorhaltiges Additiv zugesetzt ist; und der gebrauchte Gießereisand einer thermischen Behandlung unterworfen wird, wobei der Gießereisand auf eine Temperatur von zumindest 200°C erhitzt wird, wobei ein regenerierter Gießereisand erhalten wird. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung einen wiederaufbereiteten Gießereisand, wie er mit dem Verfahren erhalten wird.The invention relates to a process for reprocessing used foundry sand contaminated with waterglass, wherein: a used foundry sand is provided which has a water glass based binder to which a particulate metal oxide and a phosphorus additive are added; and the used foundry sand is subjected to a thermal treatment, wherein the foundry sand is heated to a temperature of at least 200 ° C, whereby a regenerated foundry sand is obtained. Furthermore, the invention relates to a recycled foundry sand, as obtained with the method.
