Description
The invention relates to a soundproof door, consisting of a frame of metal profiles and a hinged door, which comprises a profile frame and as a filling in the profile frame a rectangular, heavy glass plate, the edge region circumferentially on all four sides between a support surface of a first profile of the profile frame and a glass retaining strip is fixed, which in turn is attached to a second profile connected to the first profile.
Soundproof doors with the aforementioned design features are known. They are used as access doors to heavily soundproofed rooms, e.g. Exercise, trial and / or recording rooms used. Basically there is a desire to make the glass content, so the surface of the glass plate, as large as possible. In order to achieve a high sound attenuation, a very thick glass plate, sometimes as a package of two or more panes with air gap, is required. According to the state of the art, the second profile protrudes substantially at right angles to the plane of the glass plate, so that a wide edge strip remains free. Against this edge strip of the second profile, the glass retaining strip is screwed parallel to the plane of the glass plate.
- It is hardly possible to achieve a whopping installation of the heavy glass plate both against the support surface of the first profile and against the corresponding surface of the glass retaining strip, especially if these are the glass plate on all four sides enclosing surfaces not absolutely plane-parallel. The latter is difficult to achieve with reasonable effort in practice, especially since such soundproof doors can have a mass of several 100 kg. However, if the glass plate does not rest against its border, the sound insulation suffers significantly.
- Due to the large mass of the glass plate, the glass retaining strip must be very high to securely fix the glass plate. As a result, the glass retaining strip reduces the clear area of the glass plate.
- The profile frame in turn has a considerable thickness or depth at right angles to the surface of the glass plate, which adversely affects the installation situation and the appearance of the door. The same applies to the frame.
The invention has for its object to provide a soundproof door of the introductory genus, which avoids these disadvantages.
- By uniform tightening the mounting screws of the glass retaining strip "cross" is a uniform clamping of any thick glass plate in the profile frame, ie achieved a circumferentially uniformly rich investment of the glass plate on the corresponding surfaces. As a result, the soundproof door has improved sound insulation.
- Because of their screwing perpendicular to the plane of the glass plate and consequently the stress of the screws no longer bending but to train a narrow projection in the direction of the glass plate is sufficient so that increases their clear surface and the soundproofing door as a whole more transparent and thus visually appealing.
- At the same time, the thickness or installation depth of the profile frame and consequently also of the frame decreases, because the further or second profile only has essentially the thickness of the glass plate. In addition, while still the thickness of the glass retaining strip, but because of their screw perpendicular to the plane of the glass plate can be kept much lower than the thickness of the mounted in the previously known type Glashalteleiste.
The first profile of the profile frame may be a rectangular profile with a cross section whose long axis is parallel to the plane of the glass plate. The first profile is thus parallel to the plane of the glass plate on both sides over the second profile, wherein the glass plate facing supernatant forms the contact surface for the glass plate and the supernatant on the side of the frame together with the rectangular surface of the further or second profile first fold forms.
The further profile of the profile frame is expedient a square profile whose dimension is at right angles to the plane of the glass plate about equal to the thickness plus required tolerances. These tolerances include both the manufacturing tolerances and the case-by-case, if necessary, different thickness of sealing strips between the glass plate edges and the surfaces against which they abut, and optionally between the profiles, e.g. a second and a third profile, arranged as additional sound insulation plastic material.
The glazing bead is preferably made of a rectangular profile, which abuts with a part of its broad side against a strip of the surface of the second profile and with the remaining part of its broad side against the edge region of the glass plate.
A per se known shutter mechanism can be mounted on the glass retaining strip. The square, which makes the connection of the shutter mechanism with the door latch on the opposite side, can be passed through a narrow gap between the glass plate facing surface of the second profile and the end edge of the glass plate.
Because the attachment of the glass retaining strip according to the invention also leads to a reduction in the thickness of the profile frame, it is very easy to realize a triple folding of the profile frame of the door leaf with the frame, by using the free surface of the glass retaining strip as a third stop face in cooperation with an additional profile the frame.
In detail, the first fold comprises a stop surface between the first profile of the profile frame of the door leaf and a first metal profile of the frame, the second fold a stop surface between the second profile and a second offset to the first profile metal profile of the frame and the third fold a stop surface between the glass retaining strip and a third, offset metal profile of the frame.
As usual, elastic sealing strips are arranged in the folds. The surfaces against which the glass plate rests are expediently covered with elastic sealing strips.
Preferably, the profiles forming the profile frame of the sash are hollow metal profiles which are provided with sound-absorbing material, e.g. Glass wool, are filled. In some cases, however, it may be sufficient if only a part of the profiles contains a sound-insulating filling material.
From the point of view of cost, it is best if all profiles are hollow steel square profiles, which are commercially available in numerous wall thicknesses and cross-sectional shapes.
