Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apparatus according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for the lossless filling of continuously mixed media in containers and in particular beverages in containers.
- Devices for filling liquids and in particular beverages have long been known from the prior art.
- the invention will be described in terms of a device for filling multi-component beverages, for example beverages composed of a syrup and an aqueous medium. It should be understood, however, that the present invention may be applied to other devices for bottling beverages as well as other liquids such as milk, juices, soft drinks or oils, but also more viscous media.
- inline dosing of different media and its filling is spatially separated, whereby a connection line between the in-line dosing and bottling arises, which can not be filled without loss.
- Fig. 6 shows such a device 100 with a product supply tank 105, in which filling product is introduced via a supply line 110 and optionally via a media rotary distributor to several more regularly spaced at the periphery of Device arranged filling valves 155 to be filled into container 200.
- the filling product can be composed of one or more components.
- the products introduced into the product supply tank 105 are already mixed in the supply line or in a mixer, not shown (inline mixture) and optionally pasteurized or sterilized by means of a heat exchanger and then filled into the product supply tank 105 via only one supply line.
- a mixing ratio of 1 + 1 is given as an example of a mixing ratio of the two different components.
- the product supply tank 105 is connected via connecting lines 130 with the filling devices 150.
- means (not shown) for measuring the amount of product filled, e.g. inductive flow meter, be arranged.
- the filling device 150 has a filling valve 155.
- the filling valve 155 is filled with liquid from the mixing container 105 through the connecting line 130.
- the liquid present in filling valve 155 can be filled into suitable containers 200 by opening and closing the valve cone of filling valve 155.
- the device 100 shown has the problem that residues that are present in the product supply tank 105 and in the connecting line 130 between the product supply tank 105 and filling device 150 can not be filled lossless in containers 200. That is, if in the product supply tank 105, a new filling product, for example, with a different mixing ratio of the first product to be supplied in the connecting line 130 between the product supply tank 105 and filling 150 still a residual liquid with the old mixing ratio is present, such as 1 +1 , this in Fig. 6 is called.

- Fig. 2 the state is shown in which the mixing container 20 is closed by means of the closure device 40, and the connecting line 50 and the filling valve 53 are emptied.
- the closure device 40 is configured as in FIG Fig. 3 shown.
- Fig. 3 illustrates the closure body 41 of the closure device 40 of the mixing container 20 in cross section.
- the closure body 41 has a tapered portion which is part of the conical body 42. Horizontally to the cone axis of the conical portion 42, the conical portion 42 has a circumferential recess 45. In the recess 45, for example, a not pictured sealing ring may be inserted.
- the cone-shaped part 42 is connected to the rod-shaped part 43 which is arranged along the cone axis K of the conical part 42 on the conical part 42. That is, the cone axis K of the tapered part 42 and the rod axis of the rod-shaped part 43 merge with each other.
- the conical portion 42 and the rod-shaped portion 43 have a cavity 46 along the cone axis K of the conical portion 42 and the rod axis of the rod-shaped portion 43.
- the conical portion 42 is in Fig. 3 more precisely, a frusto-conical portion 42, since the tip of the cone of the conical portion 42 is absent due to the formation of the cavity 46 along the cone axis K of the conical portion 42.
- the conical portion 42 circumferential recess 45 is spaced at a predetermined distance from the truncated cone tip of the conical portion 42.
- the cavity 46 may serve to receive a ventilation duct 47 for the ventilation of the connecting line 50 and the filling valve 53. However, the cavity 46 may also itself form the ventilation duct 47 for the ventilation of the connecting pipe 50 and the filling valve 53.
- the cone-shaped part 42 of the closure device 40 which is at least partially conical, as described above, is shown in FIG Fig. 3 inserted into the drain 21 from the mixing container 20.
- the drain 21 in Fig. 3 formed in the bottom 22 of the mixing container 20 funnel-shaped.
- the drain 21 is arranged at the lowest point of the mixing container 20.
- the drain 21 may also be present in a side wall 23 of the mixing container 20, for example just above the bottom 22 of the mixing container 20.
- the width of the recess 45 is configured on the conical surface of the conical portion 42 such that the conical portion 42 can effectively prevent leakage of liquid from the mixing container 20 into the connecting line 50. That is, the width of the recess 45 on the conical surface of the conical portion 42 is preferably narrower than the length of the funnel surface of the funnel-shaped drain 21 formed between the inside of the bottom 22 of the mixing container 20 and the connecting pipe 50. In this way, a secure closure of the drain 21 of the mixing container 20 can be ensured.
- the tapered portion 42 and the rod-shaped portion 43 may be made in one piece, as in FIG Fig. 3 shown. However, it is also possible to make the tapered part 42 and the rod-shaped part 43 from at least two pieces which are connected to each other so that the cavity 46 in the tapered part 42 and the rod-shaped part 43 is connected to each other and at the junction airtight to the outside is completed. Alternatively, in the cavity 46 of the conical part 42 and the rod-shaped part 43, a ventilation duct 47 may be guided, so that the cavity 46 of the conical part 42 and the rod-shaped part 44 is not airtight to the outside at joints between the conical part 42 and rod-shaped part 43 must be completed.
- the ventilation line 47 is led out of the closure device 40 above the mixing container 20 or is open above the mixing container 20.
- active air can also be injected, for example by means of a compressed gas connection, not shown.
- the closure device 40 in the mixing container 20 also participates in the filling process of the containers 54 in such a device 10 in addition to the filling valve 53.
- the container level detection device 56 detects that the container to be filled or just filled 54 is filled with a level equal to the maximum level of the container 54 and the nominal level of the container 54 less in the connecting line 50 and the Filling valve 53 is present filling
- the closure device 40 is closed in the mixing container 20 and the connecting line 50 vented.
- the control of the closure of the closure device 40 can be effected by means of the control device 57, as mentioned above.
- the volume of liquid or media volume present on the connection line 50 can be determined in advance and stored, for example, in a storage device accessible to the control device 57.
- the preparation of a new mixing ratio of the media supplied to the mixing vessel 20 via the first and second supply lines 30, 31 and optionally other supply lines, which are not shown here for the sake of simplicity, is referred to with reference to FIG Fig. 2 .
- the preparation of the new mixing ratio of the media can be done manually or by means of the control device 57.
- the control may be performed again based on a detection result of the mixing vessel level detection means 55.
- the drain 21 is to be closed from the mixing container 20 by means of the closure device 40.
- the connecting line 50 between the mixing container 20 and the filling valve 53 by means of an air supply or ventilation by opening the vent line 47 of the closure device 40 in at least one below the filling valve 53 arranged container 54 can be emptied.
- the state achieved thereby is in Fig. 2 shown, now only in the mixing container 20, the product with a mixing ratio of the two different media of 1 + 1 is an example.
- the product still contained in the connecting pipe 50 and the filling valve 53 during the regular filling operation is in FIG Fig. 2
- completely drained or already completely filled in containers 54 that is, in the last filled by the filling valve 55 container is a defined volume from the mixing vessel 20 and the full volume of product line 50 and filling valve 53.
- the sum corresponds to the predetermined capacity.
- the predetermined filling amount is the amount with which the other same containers 54 were filled, which were filled immediately before with the system 60.
- the residual volume contained in the mixing container 20 is detected by the mixing container level detection device 55. Subsequently, in the mixing container 20, whose outflow 21 is further closed by means of the closure device 40, a new mixing ratio in the mixing container 20 can be set by one-sided product feed become. That is, as in Fig. 4 As an example, via the first supply line 30, half of the amount of the defined residual volume, which at the in Fig. 2 shown state is still present in the mixing vessel 20, fed into the mixing vessel 20. In this way, a mixing ratio of 2 + 1 of the media supplied from the first and second supply lines 30, 31 into the mixing container 20 arises in the mixing container 20.
- the next container 54 which follows the last container 54 with the last filling with the product with the mixing ratio 1 + 1 immediately, with the product with the new mixing ratio of 2 + 1 are filled, which is now present in the mixing container 20.
- the closure device 40 is opened again so that the product with the new mixing ratio of 2 + 1 can flow from the mixing container 20 into the connection line 50 and into the filling valve 53.
- the filling valve 53 is opened, the product with the new mixing ratio of 2 + 1 can also be filled in the containers 54.
- the controller 57 can set the defined residual volume in the mixing tank 20 existing after closing the drain 21 by means of the shutter 40 and before the one-side product supply in the mixing tank 20, with a detection result of the mixing tank level detecting means 55 in the one-side product feeding into the mixing tank Referring to mixing container 20. From this, it can be easily determined when the new mixing ratio of, for example, 2 + 1 is reached, as in Fig. 4 specified.
- the mixing container 20 After reaching the new mixing ratio, the mixing container 20, so that the device 10 and thus the system 60 can continue to work continuously, continuously the two different media with a ratio of 2/3 to 1/3 on the first and second supply line 30, 31 in supplied to the mixing container 20, as in Fig. 5 specified. Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus according to the preamble of
Devices for filling liquids and in particular beverages have long been known from the prior art. In particular, the invention will be described in terms of a device for filling multi-component beverages, for example beverages composed of a syrup and an aqueous medium. It should be understood, however, that the present invention may be applied to other devices for bottling beverages as well as other liquids such as milk, juices, soft drinks or oils, but also more viscous media.
In such device for bottling beverages according to the applicant's in-house state of the art inline dosing of different media and its filling is spatially separated, whereby a connection line between the in-line dosing and bottling arises, which can not be filled without loss.
The
The existing in the

A container level detector is well known to those skilled in the art and may be used e.g. be designed as an electrical probe on the filling valve or as an inductive flow meter in the connecting line.
Advantageous embodiments of the device are specified in the dependent claims.
Preferably, the ventilation device is a connectable to the connecting line ventilation duct of the closure device for ventilation of the connecting line to the filling valve.
It is advantageous if the outflow is funnel-shaped and the closure device has a closure body with an at least partially conical part, which cooperates with the funnel-shaped drain in a wall of the mixing container to close the mixing container.
It is also possible for the at least sectionally conical part of the closure body to have a recess which encircles the at least sectionally conical part and which is arranged vertically to the conical axis of the at least sectionally conical part.
The closure device is preferably at least partially a hollow body, which is hollow along the axis of the conical part and is suitable for the ventilation line.
In addition, the hollow body may be provided with two ventilation openings for venting the cavity in the hollow body.
It is advantageous if one of the two ventilation openings is arranged outside the mixing container at the closure device.
In this case, the control device can be designed such that it closes the outflow from the mixing container by means of the closure device, when the control device determines on the basis of a detection result of the container level detection device that in the container a predetermined amount is present, which is equal to the desired level of the container minus the existing in the connecting line and the filling valve capacity.
In addition, the control device can be designed such that it opens the filling valve and ventilates the connecting line and the filling valve by means of the ventilation line of the closure device when the outflow from the mixing container is closed by means of the closure device.
It is conceivable that the device described above is part of a system which has a transport device for transporting the containers to the filling valve, whereby upstream or downstream further container production and treatment machines known to the person skilled in the art can be arranged.
The object is also achieved by a method for lossless filling of continuously mixed media in containers according to claim 12.
The method may include, by means of a device comprising a mixing vessel for receiving and mixing at least two different media, of which at least one medium is a liquid, a filling valve for filling the mixed media from the mixing vessel into the vessels, and a connecting conduit between the drain the mixing vessel and the filling valve, and comprising the steps of: continuously feeding at least two different media, at least one medium of which is a liquid, to the mixing vessel, closing an outflow from the mixing vessel with a closure device, venting the connecting line and the filling valve by means of a ventilation device for ventilation of the connecting line to the filling valve, opening and closing of the filling valve for filling containers.
Preferably, the method also includes the steps of detecting the level of a container to be filled and closing the drain from the mixing container with the closure device when it is determined based on a detection result of the level detection step that in the container a predetermined filling amount is equal to Target filling level of the container minus the existing in the connecting line and the filling valve capacity.
It is also advantageous if the method comprises the step of establishing a new mixing ratio of the media in the mixing container by supplying only one of the at least two different media to the mixing container, when the outflow from the mixing container is closed with the closure device comprises.
In addition, this may include the steps of: opening the outflow from the mixing vessel with the closure device, and opening and closing the filling valve at a stroke, with which containers are transported to the filling valve.
According to the above-described construction of the devices, a dependence of the various parts of the device for lossless processing of the merged media results.
The mixing container is designed and arranged so that it can be shut off with a residual volume of filling product and the discharge line, which is the aforementioned connection line, can be completely emptied to the filling device. The filling device is designed in such a way that a residual volume can be shut off in its storage tank and the line to the filling valves and the filling valves can be completely emptied into the containers.
The shut-off possibilities and the targeted supply and removal of the product mixed from at least two different media in the mixing vessel allow new mixing ratios to be set for the lossless conversion between products of different mixing ratios in the downstream product residues.

The
Due to the described configuration of the
It is advantageous if the
Due to this configuration of the
Therefore, residues that are present in the connecting
Initially, a situation is assumed in which the

As soon as the
All of the above-described embodiments of the

Although only the
The
It is possible that the remaining amount in the connecting
Although a
The filling
The filling
