Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of devices for packaging and dispensing a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
  • Cosmetic product means a product as defined in Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993 .
  • the present invention relates more particularly to the field of devices for packaging and dispensing a product stick such as a lipstick, a foundation, an eyeshadow, a blush, a concealer, a complexion treatment, washing or moisturizing composition, a deodorant, or a hair care product.
  • a product stick such as a lipstick, a foundation, an eyeshadow, a blush, a concealer, a complexion treatment, washing or moisturizing composition, a deodorant, or a hair care product.
  • Such sticks are generally packaged in devices of the type provided with a cup for supporting said mobile stick inside a sheath, a casing surrounding the sheath, and an outer sleeve surrounding the casing.
  • Cup drive means are also provided to allow, during a rotation of an actuating member connected to the casing, its axial displacement inside the sheath between a storage position and a position of the casing. use of the stick.
  • the drive means may in particular be made in the form of lugs provided on the cup and the sleeve and cooperating with grooves provided on the casing, the sheath and the outer sleeve.
  • the product stick is usually consumed relatively quickly and the device is thrown when the stick is finished. Therefore, the elements constituting the device are manufactured cheaply by molding of synthetic materials economic.
  • This device is not suitable for a luxury type application. Indeed, in such an application, the use of low cost synthetic materials can promote a negative appreciation of the user.
  • the size of the device is relatively small, which can be inconvenient during its handling and during the rotation of the actuating member for the distribution of the device. product.
  • a device for packaging and dispensing a lipstick stick comprising a dispensing assembly formed of a cup for supporting the stick, a sleeve inside which is mounted the cup, an envelope surrounding said sheath and an outer sleeve surrounding the casing and rotatable relative to said casing.
  • the sleeve comprises a lug through a longitudinal groove formed on the casing and penetrating into a first helical groove of the sleeve.

  • the device also comprises tubes forming a holster for the dispensing assembly of the stick, one of the tubes being able to rotate the outer sleeve.
  • the outer sleeve has a protuberance extending radially inward and cooperating with a helical groove of the envelope.
  • the present invention therefore aims to overcome the disadvantages of prior devices.
  • the present invention aims at providing a device for packaging and dispensing a product stick, in particular a cosmetic product, which can be easily handled, handled and adapted to a luxury type application.

  • the device for packaging and dispensing a product stick has the features of claim 1.
  • the protective case can easily be made of a material suitable for a luxury type application, for example a metallic material and may include decorations, pictograms or a brand, while maintaining a distribution set as it is claimed in claim 1, said dispensing assembly being thus capable of being made from low cost materials.
  • the protective case may be retained for reuse with another similarly designed dispensing unit forming the case refill.
  • the protective case increases the thickness of the device, and more generally its size, which facilitates its grip and its actuation for the distribution of the product.
  • the design of the device, and in particular the provision on the casing of the guiding means co-operating with the groove of the sheath, makes it possible to maintain the orientation or indexing of the product relative to the upper part of the protective sheath during its movement from the storage position towards the position or positions of use. Indeed, during the displacement of the support cup, the product does not move in rotation relative to the upper part of the protective case, in particular relative to a hood of the case. There is therefore no relative movement of rotation between the product and the upper part of the protective case.
