Description

The invention relates to a collapsible storage and transport container made of plastic according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such collapsible storage and transport containers, in which the side walls are completely repositioned inwards or outwards, are known and are also referred to as folding boxes. In contrast, folding boxes have retractable end walls and foldable side walls with an upper frame, which contributes to the stability of the Faltbox. Foldable containers are widely used for the transport of objects in the household as well as in storage and transport. The containers with hinged side walls have in common that the hinged side walls are releasably locked together at its upper edge, and have no upper frame. Stabilization usually takes place via hinged, two-part lids. Such a collapsible transport and storage container teaches the German publication DE 295 01 696 U1 , Since valuable or sensitive goods are transported in such containers, especially in the commercial sector, these containers must also be provided with a safety device, for example in the form of a seal, which prevents the containers from being opened by unauthorized persons. However, the locking of the side walls and the sealing of the lids with the walls often do not protect the containers from manipulation or opening by unauthorized persons. Weak points are usually the locking of the side walls with each other or even the hinges, which on the one hand hold the side walls with the bottom part and on the other hand, the lid with the side walls. At these vulnerabilities, it is sometimes possible, the container despite the fact that they have been sealed, the goods may be taken out of the container unauthorized without this being immediately evident from obvious damage to the container or from a destroyed seal. Only on closer inspection can be seen then that on the container an unauthorized manipulation was made.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a collapsible storage and transport container of the type mentioned with hinges and a locking of the side walls, which are not possible manipulated, easy to manufacture and assembly, and easy handling of the collapsible bearing and transport container.

This object is achieved by a collapsible storage and transport container having the features of claim 1.

A significant advantage of the invention is that to increase security against unauthorized opening of the container, the hinges and the locking of the side walls of the container from the outside are not accessible and therefore not manipulated. The hinge elements for connecting the side walls to the bottom element and the lid and the locking on the container side walls are easy and quick to install and replace, which saves costs in the manufacture of the container.

Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and from the following description in which the invention with reference to an embodiment shown in the schematic drawings is explained in more detail.

In the FIG. 1 the inventive collapsible storage and transport container made of plastic is shown in a perspective view. The container 1 includes a bottom part 2 and four hinged on the bottom part 2, inwardly hinged side walls 3, 4. The hinged connections of the bottom part 2 with the side walls 3, 4 are in the erected container 1 by the outside raised frame 17, 18 of the bottom part 2 completely covered and not accessible from the outside. Each two oppositely arranged first side walls 3 are releasably latched to the two other oppositely disposed second side walls 4 by means of a lock operable only from the inside in the corner regions 6. The cover of the container 1 is made with two, on opposite side walls 4 hinged half-lids 5. In the example shown, the half-lid 5 are each secured with four hinges 7 at the two second, the shorter side walls 4. However, they can also be hinged to the first, the longer side walls 3. Also, the number of hinges 7 may be more or less and depends on the size of the container. Advantageously, the half-lid 5, however, hinged with at least two hinges 7 per side wall 4. To open and for folding the container, the two lid halves 5 are opened and opened by about 270 ° to the outside. The cover halves 5 are then on the outside of the side walls 4. To fold the container 1, the latches, which are arranged in the upper corner region 6 of the first side walls 3, must be unlocked. Subsequently, first the first side walls 3 and then the second side walls 4 can be folded inwards in the direction of the bottom part 2. The installation of the container 1 takes place in the reverse order. First, the second, short side walls 4 are folded up with the semi-lids 5 angehamten it and then the first side walls 3. By slight pressure to the outside engages the spring-loaded locking in the corner regions 6 in the adjacent side walls 4 and the side walls 3, 4 are fixed. To close the container 1, the two half-lid 5 are folded up and placed on a shoulder 12 at the upper edge 13 of the first side walls 3. As a result, the cover 5 are recessed against the upper edges 13 of the first side walls 3 on the side walls 3. In the cover halves 5, a recess 9a is provided, which comes to rest with the lid halves 5 folded over a recess 9b in the side wall 3. These recesses 9a, 9b are intended to receive a sealing cord, a sealing strip or a plug-in seal. At the second side walls 4 and the cover halves 5 each have a handle hole 10, 11 can be seen. These gripping holes 10, 11 are arranged so that when the lid halves 5 are folded outwards, the two gripping holes 10, 11 come to lie one above the other and form a handle. In the grip holes 10,11 struts 14 are provided which prevent reaching through into the interior of the container. The outwardly covered, articulated connection of the bottom part 2 with the side walls 3, 4, and only operable from the inside locking the side walls and the arrangement, design and Verplombungsmöglichkeit the lid increase security against unauthorized opening of the container.

In the FIG. 2 the bottom part 2 is shown in a perspective view. The bottom part 2 consists of a bottom frame 15 and a bottom plate 16. The bottom plate 16 may be used together with the bottom frame 15 as one-piece bottom part 2 may be formed. In a further embodiment, a two-part embodiment of the bottom part 2 is conceivable, wherein the bottom plate 16 can be inserted into the bottom frame. The frame 15 has in its longitudinal and transverse sides 17, 18 recesses 19, which are open to the inside and closed to the outside. In the recesses 19 18 parallel lateral bores 20 are provided parallel to the frame longitudinal or frame transverse sides. These recesses 19 are intended to receive the connecting elements 20 integrally formed on the side walls 3, 4, which have pins 21 extending parallel to the lower edges of the side walls 3, 4, which pins can be inserted and rotated in the lateral bores 20 of the recess 19, such that the pins 21 inserted in the holes 20 form a hinge-like connection between the bottom part 2 and the side walls 3, 4. The transverse sides 18 of the bottom frame 15 have further, inwardly open and outwardly covered, approximately U-shaped recesses 28, which are intended to receive at the lower edges of the second side walls 4 molded tabs 30. The longitudinal sides 17 and transverse sides 18 of the bottom frame 15 have different heights. When folding the container 1, first arranged on the two longitudinal sides 17 of the frame 15 first side walls 3 are folded inwards and lie in the interior of the bottom frame 2 on the bottom plate 16. Subsequently, the second side walls 4, which are hingedly connected to the higher transverse sides 15, also folded inwards. The height of the transverse side 15 is now selected so that the folded-over second side walls 4 rest flat on the first side walls 3. This results for the collapsed container 1, a compact, easy-to-use block of superimposed cover halves 5 and side walls 3.4. The setting up of the container 1 takes place, as already described above, in reverse order, wherein first the second side walls 4 are folded up and then the first side walls 3. To prevent the already folded second side walls 4 during the opening of the first side walls. 3 Close again, a tilting block is provided on the bottom part 2. For this purpose, the vertical distance from the pivot axis "A" to the upper edge 39 at the transition from the shorter side of the bottom frame 18 to the longer side 17 of the bottom frame 15 slightly larger than the distance from the pivot axis "A" to the lower edge 39 'of the second side wall 4. The pivot axis "A" is that imaginary axis about which the side walls 4 of the container 1 are pivoted when opening and closing. When aligning the side wall 4 rubs the lower edge 39 'of the side wall 4 at the upper edge 39 of the bottom part 2. This friction prevents accidental tilting back of the side wall 4. The not visible in the drawing outer part of the bottom part 2 can be ribbed for reinforcement, and also a have further coverage to obtain a smooth bottom surface. The bottom of the bottom part 2 and the bottom frame 15 is designed to be complementary to the container top so that the container 1 are stackable one above the other stackable. For this purpose, the bottom frame 2 on its underside correspondingly shaped recesses, which serve to receive the upper edges of the side walls 3, 4 of the container 1. To increase the container volume, a container 1 with its bottom frame 15 and without bottom plate 16 can be placed on a container 1 without cover 5. The two containers are firmly connected to each other via U-shaped connecting elements. These fasteners are laterally inserted from the outside into the bottom frame 15 and in the upper region of the side walls 3, 4 and secured in the interior of the container 1 against unauthorized removal. In this version, the lid 5 and the seal are arranged on the upper container.

The FIG. 3 shows a short side wall 4 of the container 1. Evident are the integrally formed on the side wall 4 connecting elements 21 with the sides parallel to the lower edge of the side wall 4 extending pin 22. The connecting elements 21 have a slot-shaped recess 23. As a result, the pins 22 are slightly elastically resiliently movable along the pivot axis 'A'. In addition to the connecting elements 21, the formed on the lower edge of the second side walls 4 tabs 30 can be seen, which engage in erected side wall 4 in the U-shaped recesses 28 of the transverse sides 18 of the bottom frame 15 and the side walls 4 of the container 1 give additional support and stability , At the upper edge 24 of the side wall 4 are Recesses 25 provided with parallel to the upper edge 24 hinge axes 26 for the cover hinges 7. The recesses 25 for the cover hinges 7 are covered at the top 27, whereby the hinge 7 are partially covered to the outside and protected from manipulation. Next, the handle hole 10 with the struts 14 can be seen in the upper region of the side wall. The shape of the handle hole 10 is ergonomically designed with rounded edges to facilitate grasping and carrying the container 1. At the two lateral edges 32 of the second side wall 4, the locking lugs 31 can be seen, in which engage the locking lugs arranged in the upper corner region 6 of the first side walls 3 locking during locking.

In the FIG. 4 is a section of a transverse side 18 of the bottom frame 15 with hinged side wall 4 in a perspective view seen from above. The connecting element 21 engages with pins 22 formed thereon in the bores 20, whereby the connecting elements 21 and thus the side walls 4 are pivotally mounted in the bottom frame 15. In the recess 19 vertically extending webs 29 can be seen, which engage in upright side wall in the recesses 23 of the connecting elements 21, and a displacement of the pin 20 along its pivot axis "A" impossible. These webs 29 prevent that by manipulation or improper treatment of the container 1 or the side walls 3, 4, the pins 22 can be pressed or pulled out of the holes 20. The connecting elements 21 and the configuration of the recesses 19 for receiving the connecting elements 21 are identical for the first and second side walls 3, 4. For mounting the side walls 3, 4, the connecting elements 21 are used in horizontal alignment of the side wall, ie parallel to the bottom part 2 in the recesses 19 and guided in the direction of the bottom part 2. As a result, the webs 29 do not yet engage in the recesses 29. Since the recess 19 of the bottom frame 15 are wider at the upper edge than in the lower region, the pins 22 are slightly pressed in the direction of connecting element 21 until the pins 22 reach the hole 20 and engage there when inserting the connecting elements 21 into the recess 19. At the front ends of the pins 22 are radially outward directed cams arranged. The bores 20 have recesses which run in such a way that the pins 22 with the cams can engage in the bores 20 only in a certain position, namely only when side walls 3, 4 aligned parallel to the bottom part 2. Thus, the pins 22 can be pressed out of the holes 20 only in the horizontal position of the side wall 3, 4. Furthermore, the tabs 30 formed on the lower edge 39 'of the second side wall 4 next to the connecting elements 21 can be seen, which engage in the recesses 28 when the side walls 4 are opened and give the second side walls 4 additional stability. The connecting element 21, together with the recess 19 and its shape a hinge-like connection between the side walls 3, 4 and the bottom part 2 and the bottom frame 15, namely a bottom-side wall hinge. The assembly of the side walls 3, 4 takes place only by inserting the side walls 3, 4, ie without additional tools, which greatly facilitates both the assembly and the replacement of defective side walls and reduces the manufacturing cost.

The FIG. 5 shows a long side wall 3 of the container 1 seen from the outside. This first side wall 3 has in the upper corner region 6 a double-walled section 6, which is intended to receive the locking latch 40 for locking adjacent side walls 3, 4 of the container 1. The outside is formed in this corner region 6 by a closed surface. In the upper edge region of the first side wall 3, this is by a ribbing strengthened. In a further embodiment, the ribbing can be additionally reinforced by welding a plate. The connection of the first side wall 3 by means of the connecting elements 21 in the same way as the articulation of the second side wall 4 to the bottom frame 15th

By covered from the outside hinged connection of the side walls 3, 4 with the bottom part 2 and by the largely covered and not accessible from the outside lid hinges 7, and by the only operable from the inside lock 40 of the side walls 3, 4 with each other is the collapsible storage and Transport container 1 largely safe against manipulation. The connections of the side walls 3, 4 with the bottom part 2 have no additional parts and are only by plugging together connectable. The lid hinge is also plugged only on the side walls and the lid, and requires no further mounting means. This simple handling and assembly of the container saves costs in its manufacture and simplifies the replacement of defective parts.
