Abstract

The storing and transporting box, which is especially a collapsible box, has hinged end walls (3) and long walls (4) which are lockable in the erected position. Description

The invention relates to a storage and transport container or box, in particular folding box, pivotally mounted in hinges, lockable in an upright position end and / or longitudinal walls, which are bordered by a closure frame, with locking means for the forehead and / or Longitudinal walls is formed, as has become known from EP-A-0 619 237.

In collapsible boxes, as further known from US-A-2,782,955, the four walls and, if present, the lid are folded over one another folded without the hinged hinge parts of the individual walls interfere with each other. Another, known from DE 92 03 114.5 U known box consists of a bottom and four pairs opposite side walls, which can all be folded by a rotatable hinge at its foot into the interior of the box. At least one of the folding side walls is composed there of two individual plates, which extend over the entire length of the wall and are pivotally rotatable relative to each other in the longitudinal direction, so that they can be folded by pivoting for folding the box into the box interior. To allow the box to stabilize and lock in the upright position of the walls, some of the walls are provided with stops located near their opposite side edges to lock the walls together in the erected position. The stops are in this case formed on two opposite walls adjacent to the wall provided with the hinged individual panels and comprise upper and lower stops. The stops are arranged so that in the fully upright position the upper and lower plates of the walls bear against the upper and lower stops respectively.

The invention has for its object to provide a generic storage and transport container or box, which allows easy locking and unlocking of the walls and at the same time offers a greater security against unauthorized intervention when equipped with a lid.

This object is achieved in that the end walls or the longitudinal walls are provided with spaced apart, vertically projecting hollow chamber profiles, the box wall outside a receiving opening, preferably a bore, engage in the provided for locking on the end frame pins. The e.g. with inwardly folded end walls on the upright longitudinal walls patch frame, which there preferably via form-locking connections, including the top surfaces of the box walls high-profile hammer heads, which are assigned to the underside of the end frame complementary conical recesses mounted on the box walls, automatically plunges with its pins into the holes of the hollow chamber profiles when the end walls are erected. An illustrated in Fig. 1 in its entirety storage and transport container or box 1 - in the following box called - consists of a bottom 2, end walls 3 and longitudinal walls 4 and a cover 5 closing it. The front and longitudinal walls 3, 4th are articulated in hinges 6 and 7, respectively, of a frame 8 of the bottom 2 (see also Figures 2 to 6). The positive-locking connections 14 of the end frame 10 cooperate with hollow-chamber profiles 17, which in the exemplary embodiment are formed at the upper ends of the double-walled end walls 3 as substantially open U-shaped profiles (see FIG. These have outside wall box side receiving openings 18 in the form of holes into which the pins 16 of the form-locking connections 14 of the end frame 10 when erecting the end walls 3 dive. The threading of the pins 16 is supported by Einführzentrierungen 19 of the receiving openings 18. In the locking position of the end wall 3 shown in Fig. 11 with the end frame 10, the hollow chamber profiles 17 are chambered by the pockets 15, whereby an automatic folding of the end walls is also prevented, as a lifting of the end frame 10. The end frame 10 is also formed at the same time for locking with a lid 5 closing the box 1 (see Fig. 1). For this purpose, it has in its upper edge 21 a plurality of slot recesses 20. The end frame 10 thus ensures not only a box 1 stabilizing composite of the erected box walls, but also when closing the box with a lid and its locking to prevent manipulation.

A storage and transport container or box (1), especially a folding box, comprising front and/or longitudinal walls (3; 4) which are disposed so that they can pivot in hinges (6, 7) and which can be locked in an upright position, and which are enclosed by a terminating frame (10), which is constructed with locking means (14; 15; 17) for the front and/or longitudinal walls (3; 4),

   that the front walls (3) or the longitudinal walls (4) are provided with vertically projecting hollow chamber profiles (17) spaced apart from one another, which have a receiving opening (18), preferably a hole, on the outside of the box wall into which pins (16) provided for locking to the terminating frame (10) can engage.
