Anschließend kann eine Befüllung des halbfertigen Verpackungsbeutels erfolgen und abschließend eine zweite Quersiegelnaht (am Kopfende) des Folienschlauchs hergestellt werden. Infolge der durch die versteiften Bereiche signifikant erhöhten Steifigkeit des Verpackungsbeutels kann weitgehend auf den Einsatz von zusätzlich erforderlichen Umverpackungen für die Lagerung und den Transport, insbesondere bei Verpackungsbeuteln aus flexiblem Folienmaterial mit flüssigem oder bruchempfindlichem Inhalt, verzichtet werden. Die Ausbildung des zumindest einen versteiften Teilbereichs kann vor, nach oder gleichzeitig mit der Herstellung einer ersten Quersiegelnaht an einem freien Ende des Folienschlauchs erfolgen. Claims (13)
- Method of producing a packing bag from a flexible sheet material (2), having the following steps:a) producing a longitudinal sealing seam (3) on the sheet material (2), formed into a tube, in order to produce a longitudinally closed flexible sheet-material tube (4) from the flexible sheet material (2);b) producing a first transverse sealing seam (5) at a free end (5a) of the flexible sheet-material tube (4) and then producing at least one stiffened sub-region (6; 19) on the flexible sheet-material tube (4), or
producing at least the stiffened sub-region (6; 19) on the flexible sheet-material tube (4) and then producing the first transverse sealing seam (5) at the free end (5a) of the flexible sheet-material tube (4); or
producing a first transverse sealing seam (5) at a free end (5a) of the flexible sheet-material tube (4) and simultaneously producing at least one stiffened sub-region (6; 19) on the flexible sheet-material tube (4), andc) producing a second transverse sealing seam (7) on the flexible sheet-material tube (4), wherein the stiffened sub-region (6) is produced by accumulating flexible sheet material (2) at the position of the stiffened sub-region (6) and then hardening the accumulated formation of sheet material (2), and/or the stiffened sub-region (19) is produced on a smooth region of the flexible sheet material (2) by means of hardening the sheet material (2),characterized in that the accumulated formation of flexible sheet material (2) is achieved using a cylindrical tool (11), which is arranged on an outer circumference of the flexible sheet-material tube (4), in order to make it possible for flexible sheet material (2) to be accumulated on an end side (12) of the tool (11). - Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the accumulating step is achieved by folding sheet material (2) one or more times.

- Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flexible sheet material (2) is produced from a plurality of layers, wherein at least one of the layers is a hardenable layer (14) which can be crosslinked to form a polymer.
- Method according to Claim 6, characterized in that the flexible sheet material (2) comprises an outer layer (13), the hardenable layer (14), a barrier layer (15) and a sealing layer (16).
- Packaging bag (1) made of a flexible sheet material (2), comprising:- a first transverse sealing seam (5),- a second transverse sealing seam (7),- a flexible sub-region (8), and- at least one stiffened sub-region (6; 19), which is produced by accumulating flexible sheet material (2) and then hardening the accumulated formation of sheet material, wherein flexible sheet material is accumulated by means of a cylindrical tool (11), which can be arranged on an outer circumference of the flexible sheet-material tube (4), in order to make it possible for flexible sheet material (2) to be accumulated on an end side (12) of the tool (11).
- Packaging bag (1) according to Claim 8, characterized in that the flexible sub-region (8) and the stiffened sub-region (6; 19) are produced from the flexible sheet material (2).
- Packaging bag according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the stiffened sub-region (6; 19) is formed as an inwardly projecting reinforcing rib and/or as an outwardly projecting reinforcing rib and/or as a pouring element (10).
- Packaging bag according to Claim 10, characterized in that the reinforcing rib is formed, in the circumferential direction of the packaging bag (1), as an encircling ring and/or the reinforcing rib is formed in the longitudinal direction of the packaging bag (1).
- Packaging bag according to Claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the reinforcing rib is of round or oval or triangular or rectangular or polygonal circumferential configuration.
- Packaging bag according to one of Claims 8 to 12, characterized in that the sheet material (2) is multilayered and has a hardenable layer for creating the reinforcing rib (6).
