Abstract
Description
The invention relates to solid wood plate and an apparatus for producing the solid wood panel and a method for producing the solid wood panel.
In order to produce a solid wood panel, boards are trimmed from several unedged timbers, which are then glued together along the length to form a solid wooden panel. As a rule, boards are required for this, which have at least the same length as the desired length of the solid wood panel. If particularly long planks are required for the production of the solid wood panel, previously strongly curved lumber - so-called scraper logs - could only be used to a limited extent, because only a few sufficiently long planks could be cut out of them, if at all. So far, a lot of waste wood has been produced when cutting strongly curved lumber. This is a significant disadvantage especially with expensive woods, such as walnut.
In addition, large solid wood panels made of wood, which have a strong moisture-dependent shrinkage, difficult to produce. This is the case with beechwood, for example. If the humidity in the air fluctuates, this leads to corresponding fluctuations in the dimensions of beech wood, so that the dimensions of the entire solid wood slab are also subject to considerable fluctuations.
An object of the invention is to provide a solid wood panel and an apparatus and a method for producing the solid wood panel, in which the waste is minimized. That is, the amount of waste wood that is produced during the production of the solid wood panel is minimized. This also minimizes the amount of lumber needed to make the solid wood panel and maximizes the use of lumber.
Advantageously, in the inventive device also lumber can be used for the production of solid wood panel, which would otherwise not be suitable because they are too curved, for example.
In addition, for the solid wood panel and in the inventive device and the inventive method also strongly dwindling lumber, such as beech can be used without the need for an additional, the shape of the plate stabilizing measure, such as a ridge strip. Under normal conditions, the solid wood panel according to the invention is dimensionally stable.

Thus, the course of the cutting lines is adapted not only, for example, to the shape or the course of the annual rings of sawn timber to be profiled, but also for the determination of the course of the cutting lines also information, such as the course of the annual rings of the rest required for the solid wood panel Edged lumber can be considered, the blend can be further reduced.
In a development of the device according to the invention, the computing device is designed and operable in such a way that it also takes into account errors in the sawn timber when determining the cutting lines. Thus, on the one hand reduces the waste when profiling the timber and on the other hand, the quality of the entire solid wood panel can be increased.
In another development of the device according to the invention, the computing device is designed in this way and operable to adapt the curvatures of the cut lines to the course of the annual rings.
In one embodiment of the method according to the invention, with the aid of the computing device, it is ensured that the intersection lines of two lumbers, which are to be adjacent during the mating, are congruent. This ensures that those lumbers, which are to be adjacent later, also fit together.
In a further embodiment of the method according to the invention, the acquired information may include the interpolation points and / or the color and / or the structure and / or the stiffness and / or cracks and / or the inclination and / or the course of the annual rings and / or the grain and / or be the shape of unedged lumber.
Finally, the device according to the invention can be used to produce solid wood panels.

As a rule, several of the unedged lumbers U1 to U7 are required for the production of a solid wood panel.
In the following, solid wood panels are those wood panels which are not made of ground wood or fine wood shavings but of naturally grown solid wood. In contrast to solid wood panels, medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and high-density fibreboard (HDF) are made from ground wood and chipboard from fine wood shavings. If sawn from the lumber U1 to U7 large-sized boards or planks, fall on the edge of the timber to narrow areas that can be processed, for example, to slats.
In the following, Brett refers to edged or unedged lumber of at least 80 mm width, a thickness between 8 mm and 40 mm and a length of at least 400 mm. The board can be rough sawn or one-sided, two-sided or all-round planed timber. Depending on from which part of the tree trunk the board was sawn, it is spoken of center board, core board, side board or rind.
The screed is referred to below as trimmed or unedged lumber with a minimum thickness of 40 mm and a width of more than twice the thickness.
While a solid wood panel is made from the planks or boards, a large number of narrow slats are arranged parallel to each other and glued together for a glue wood panel.
In order to produce a solid wood panel, the individual planks or boards are glued together along their longitudinal side. Since the boards work with changing temperatures and degrees of humidity, this can lead to buckling, especially of large solid wood panels. To counteract this, a ridge strip is embedded in the solid wood panel on the underside of the solid wood panel. The installation of such a gratings requires additional effort and may under certain circumstances be undesirable, namely, for example, when the top and bottom of the solid wood panel should be visible.
A multi-layer board has several layers of wood arranged one above the other. In general, these are three, five or seven layers of wood, with the grains of adjacent layers of wood running transversely to each other. In this way, the individual layers of wood are shut off from each other, so that the multi-layer plate remains solid despite temperature and humidity fluctuations. In contrast, a solid wood panel is single-layered.

Advantageously, the support points are selected along the course of the annual rings. This will be followed later by the cutting lines roughly the course of the annual rings. The joints that arise when joining the individual profiled lumbers, are then hardly visible to the human eye. A solid wood panel made in this way gives the impression as if only a single solid lumber had been used.
In a further embodiment, with the aid of the

Instead of or in addition to the
The detection device has in this embodiment a pneumatic
Alternatively or additionally, the detection device of the device according to the invention can also have an infrared sensor and / or a capacitive sensor for detecting various wood features. These can be, for example, the edges U2.1 and U2.3 as well as the end faces U2.2 and U2.4 and / or the distribution of the branches of the at least partially unedged lumber U2.
The detection device is connected to the
In one embodiment, suitable curved cut lines 2.11 - 2.41 for the lumber U2 are calculated with the aid of the
In a further embodiment, although the curved cutting lines for the lumbers U1 - U7 are calculated by means of the
In addition, when calculating the cutting lines of a lumber, the forms of several or even all other lumber can be considered. In this case, for example, for the calculation of the cutting lines 2.11 to 2.41 of the lumber U2, the shapes of all other required for the solid wood panel lumbers U1 and U3 to U7 are taken into account.
With the help of the
When it comes to curved cutting lines, it should not be ruled out that the cutting lines can also have more or less long straight sections.
Since the course of each cutting line can be calculated separately, this can lead to the fact that the course of each joint of the solid wood board is unique, so that no joint is the same as the other.
It is advantageous if, in the device according to the invention, the
The curved course of the
