  3. Hob according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the pre-assembly element (35) is a narrow retaining bracket.
  4. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the final assembled state (I) the hob housing (4) is spaced apart from the pre-assembly element (35) by a vertical distance (Δh) and in particular is mounted on the cover plate (13).
  5. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the hob has a decor frame (19, 25) which, in an installation position, delimits the work-surface section (1) and/or on which the cover plate (13) is supported in the final assembled state (I).
  6. Hob according to claim 5, characterised in that the pre-assembly element (35) connects opposing frame strips of the decor frame (19, 25) to each other.
  7. Hob according to one of claims 5 or 6, characterised in that the pre-assembly element (35) is embodied on the decor frame (19), and in particular is affixed thereto as a separate component, for instance by a screw connection (33).
  8. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that two pre-assembly elements (35) are disposed at a distance (a) to each other, said distance (a) in particular being measured such that the hob housing (4) can be inserted in between and/or can be supported thereon by means of a housing-side edge section (7).
  9. Hob according to one of claims 5 to 8, characterised in that the decor frame (19) has a wall section (41) that partially covers the hob housing (4) in the final assembled state (I), and in that the pre-assembly element (35) is embodied with a sloped edge (37), along which the hob housing (4) can be inserted in a tilted position into the work-surface section (1) below the wall section (41), in order to extend below the wall section (41) projecting into the work-surface section (1), in particular a control panel of the hob.
  10. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the final assembled state (I) the cover plate (13) and housing (4) together form a composite component that can be supported in particular when loosely positioned.
  11. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the final assembled state (I) the hob housing (4) is spaced apart from the opening edge area of the work-surface section (1), in particular from the decor frame (19), by an empty, heat-insulating space (34).
  12. Hob according to one of claims 5 to 11, characterised in that the decor frame is embodied in two parts with an upper-side frame element (19) and a bracing frame element (25).
  13. Hob according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in an appliance side direction (x) the at least one pre-assembly element (35) is spaced apart from the lateral edge of the work-surface section (1), in particular from the lateral frame strips of the decor frame (19, 25), by an offset (b).
  14. Method for assembling a hob embodied according to one of the preceding claims, in which in a pre-assembly state (I) the hob housing (4) is pre-positioned on the pre-assembly element (35) and in a subsequent step a cover plate (13) is supported in the work-surface section (1), wherein for a final assembled state (II) the cover plate (13) is then connected to the hob housing (4).
