Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a residential roof window with a sash, to which at least one cover plate is attached, which is provided with an end face of the cover covering end cap.
Residential roof windows are known from the prior art, which have such end caps. The aim is to cover or close the front side of the cover plate in order to achieve a good visual impression of the residential roof window. For attachment of the end cap on the cover plate, which in turn is arranged on the casement of the residential roof window, the end cap surrounds the cover plate at its end face at least partially. The end cap is pushed onto the cover plate in such a way that it is clamped to the end cap. In this way, a portion of the end cap rests on an outside of the cover plate, whereby no clean, steady course of the surface of the cover plate is present. The point at which the cover plate merges into the end cap is clearly recognizable, since there is a kind of shadow gap. This affects the visual impression of the residential roof window in a significant way.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a rooftop window, which does not have this disadvantage, but rather ensures a perfect match of cover plate and end cap and thus a good visual impression of the residential roof window.
This is inventively achieved with a rooftop with the features of
The cover plate and in particular its end face are at least partially included in this recording stage. This means that the bottom of the cover plate rests against the support surface. The receiving stage is dimensioned so that a transition between cover plate and end cap is substantially continuous, so there are no shadow gaps. For this purpose, the receiving stage has a step height which is substantially the same size as the sheet thickness of the cover plate. This means that as soon as the cover plate rests on the support surface, the end cap or an upper side of the end cap in abutment with the Cover plate is arranged so that the cover plate does not protrude beyond the receiving stage and also has no lower vertical extent. It can be provided that the cover plate is urged by means of the latching connection on the support surface of the end cap. In this case, the support surface can simultaneously serve as hold-down or as a counter-support element for the latching connection.
A development of the invention provides that the cover plate is a profiled sheet and in particular has a substantially U-shaped cross-section. The cover plate thus has, at least in its cross-section, a shape that is adapted, for example, to the sash of the residential roof window. In particular, the cover plate is formed so that after attachment of the cover plate to the roof window of the sash at least partially disposed in the cover plate and thus protected from this from external influences. For this purpose, the cover plate may have the substantially U-shaped cross-section. However, this only means that the cover plate seen in cross section has at least three legs which form the U-shaped cross-section. In addition, further elements may be provided, for example, beads which are incorporated in one or more of the legs. The profile of the cover plate can also be designed to form the latching connections or to hold the end cap on the cover plate.
According to a development of the invention, the receiving stage is adapted in its course to the profile of the cover plate. The receiving stage is at least at a cross-sectional profile or an inner contour of the cover plate adapted. In this way it is achieved that the cover plate rests continuously after the mounting of the end cap in the intended areas on the support surface. For this purpose, the end cap is provided, for example, as a counterpart to the U-shaped cross section of the cover plate.
An advantageous development provides that the receiving stage extends at least partially arcuate. In the axial direction of the cover plate, the end cap over its cross-section across the arcuate course of the recording stage. So it is at least a bow or a bend provided. This applies in particular to the covering surface of the receiving stage, which is formed in its course such that it rests continuously on the end face of the cover plate. If, viewed over the cross section of the cover plate, different axial extensions of the cover plate are present, the course of the covering surface or of the receiving step is adapted thereto in order to ensure a clean contact of the cover plate or the front side on the covering surface.
In a preferred development, the end cap closes or projects beyond an end region of the cover plate. In order to protect the casement, which is arranged under the cover plate from external influences and at the same time to ensure the good visual impression of the roof window, the end portion of the cover plate is closed by means of the end cap. This is especially provided when the cover plate is a profiled sheet and has the substantially U-shaped cross-section. In this case, the open cross-section, which is the end of the cover plate represents completely closed or the front of the cover completely covered. In this case, it can also be provided that the end cap protrudes over the cross section of the cover plate at least in certain areas, ie projects beyond it. However, this is only provided at locations where the cover plate is not present in the recording stage, so that the visual impression of the residential roof window is not impaired.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the latching connection has at least one opening passing through the cover plate and a projection of the end cap engaging in this opening. The locking connection thus has latching means, including the opening and the projection belong. In addition, a hold-down may be provided. The opening is introduced into the cover plate and passes through this. Alternatively, however, only a detent recess may be provided, that is, an opening which is provided on the cover plate, but this does not pass through. After making the latching connection, for example by nesting of cover plate and end cap, the projection, which is provided on the end cap, engages in the opening. For a positive connection between cover plate and end cap is made.
A preferred embodiment provides at least two spaced locking connections. If a plurality of latching connections used for fastening the end cap to the cover plate, it can, they are arranged at a distance from each other, tilting of cover plate and end cap against each other are prevented. This is the more effective, the further the locking connections are spaced from each other. With advantage Thus, two locking connections are provided, wherein a first of the locking connections are provided on one side of the end cap and a second of the locking connections on an opposite side.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the end cap is supported by the receiving step on the cover plate in the axial direction of the cover plate. For this purpose, the end face of the cover plate is supported on the cover surface of the end cap. Thus, the covering surface opposes a surface of the end face of the cover plate, wherein the two surfaces ideally abut each other over the entire surface. Because the end cap is held by means of the latching connection on the cover plate and is preferably urged onto the support surface, the cover plate can not be moved out of the receiving stage, whereby the cover plate in the axial direction on the end cap would be moved past. The support of the end cap on the cover plate in the axial direction is therefore present as long as the support surface bears against the cover plate.
In a preferred embodiment, the end cap is held by the receiving step on the cover plate in the lateral direction. By the voltage applied to the support surface of the receiving stage cover plate is thus given a lateral fixation. This can be present, for example, by the formation of the cover plate as a profile sheet by the cover plate has a cross section, seen in cross section on both sides - ie on opposite sides - engages around the end cap.
A development of the invention provides that the support surface on its side facing away from the cover surface a Aufschiebeschräge having. To facilitate the sliding of the end cap on the cover plate, the Aufschiebschräge is provided. The support surface is designed so that the cover plate runs when pushing the end cap onto the cover plate on the slip-on slope and is urged by this during pushing in the direction of a mounting position. Thus, tilting of the end cap on the cover plate during the sliding is avoided.

The
