Claims (6)

  1. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der elektromagnetischen Einzelabschirmung von elektrischen Kabeln (3) eines Strangs (1) an einem elektrischen Verbinder (8), das darin besteht:
    a) Abschnitte von Enden der Kabel (3) von ihren Einzelabschirmummantelungen zu befreien, so daß jede auf diese Weise von dem entsprechenden Kabel (3) gelöste Ummantelung einen Einzelabschirmungsstrang (2) bildet, der sich von einem Endabschnitt des nicht von der Abschirmung befreiten Strangs (1) aus erstreckt,
    b) die Enden (4) der Kabel (3) mit dem Verbinder (8) zu verbinden,
    c) ein leitendes Füllband (6) um den Endabschnitt des Strangs (1) zu wickeln, bis der Durchmesser dessen einen vorbestimmten Wert erreicht, und dabei die Einzelabschirmungsstränge (2) umzuschlagen und gleichmäßig über den Umfang des Endabschnittes des Strangs (1) in wenigstens einer oder zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Wicklungen des Füllbandes (6) zu verteilen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht:
    d) das um den Endabschnitt des Strangs (1) gewickelte Füllband (6) mittels eines ringförmigen Bandagierfederblattes (7) zu umschließen,
    e) das Bandagierfederblatt (7) zwischen zwei elektrisch leitenden Halbschalen (12; 34), die ergänzende Kupplungsmittel (27, 28) umfassen, einzufassen,
    f) die beiden Halbschalen (12; 34) miteinander zu kuppeln und sie mit dem Verbinder (8) mechanisch und elektrisch zu verbinden.
  2. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der Abschirmung, nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Endabschnitt des Strangs (1) von einer Schutzumwicklung (5) umgeben wird, bevor das Füllband (6) um den so umwickelten Endabschnitt des Strangs (1) gewickelt wird.
  3. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der Abschirmung, nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das elektrische Verbinden der beiden Halbschalen (12) mit dem Verbinder (8) mittels einer ringförmigen Schulter (29) erfolgt, die vorne an einer Außenwand (22) der Halbschalen (12) ausgebildet und dazu vorgesehen ist, an einer ringförmigen Innenwand eines hinteren Anschlusses (31) des Verbinders (8) eingespannt zu werden.
  4. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der Abschirmung, nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das elektrische Verbinden der beiden Halbschalen (34) mit dem Verbinder (8) mittels einer ringförmigen Verzahnung (16) erfolgt, die am vorderen Teil der Halbschalen (34) ausgebildet und dazu vorgesehen ist, mit einer Verzahnung (15) ergänzender Form des Verbinders (8) gekuppelt zu werden.
  5. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der Abschirmung, nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das mechanische Verbinden der beiden Halbschalen (12; 34) mit dem Verbinder (8) mittels einer hinteren Mutter (9; 35) erfolgt, in der die Anordnung aus den Halbschalen (12; 34) sowie das Bandagierfederblatt (7) aufgenommen werden und sich abstützen, wobei die hintere Mutter (9; 35) auf einen Gewindeteil des Verbinders (8) oder des hinteren Anschlusses (31) des Verbinders (8) geschraubt wird.
  6. Verfahren zum Fortsetzen der Abschirmung, nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kupplungsmittel der Halbschalen (12; 34) eine Einbuchtung (27), welche tangential ausgerichtet und an einem ersten Ende des durch jede Halbschale (12; 34) gebildeten Bogens ausgebildet ist, sowie eine Zahnung (28) ergänzender Form, welche an dem anderen Ende des Bogens ausgebildet ist, umfassen.
