Abstract

A sealing device (1) for use on the neck (3) of a container (2), comprising a substantially tubular body (4) defining a first axis (X-X) and rigidly connectable to the neck, a seal (14) having a substantially ring-shaped cross-section and pivotably connected to the body for movement between a closed position and an open position, a tamper-evident strip (20) having a substantially ring-shaped cross-section, movably supported by the body and connected to the seal in the closed position via at least one frangible bridge that is broken the first time the seal is moved from the closed to the open position.
