Description

The invention relates to a luminaire, in particular a downlight, with a housing, and a reflector received by the housing.

Such a lamp in the form of a downlight is from the German patent application DE 10 2004 042 802 A 1 known. The light exit area of this luminaire is covered by a transparent pane.

Another generic lamp is from the document EP 1 043 542 A2 known. In this lamp, an additional light source is provided to improve the illumination or the light image. With this additional light source, an accent light can be generated in an area around the reflector.

From the US 2005/0073848 A1 a downlight with an inner and an outer reflector is known; inside the inner reflector, an incandescent lamp is arranged and light emitting diodes are arranged on an annular element between the inner and the outer reflector.

From the US 2007/0285921 A1 For example, a downlight is known in which a lamp is arranged as the primary light source within an internal reflector. A further reflector is arranged around the inner reflector, the luminaire having colored light-emitting diodes as a further light source, the light of which is emitted to the outside between the two reflectors.

The present invention is based on the object to provide a generic lamp, with the possibilities of lighting design are further improved.

This object is achieved according to the invention with the lamp mentioned in the independent claim. Particular embodiments of the invention are in the specified dependent claims.

According to the invention, a luminaire, in particular a downlight, is provided with a housing, and a reflector accommodated by the housing; the luminaire furthermore has a light exit region, which is subdivided by the reflector into a main light exit region and an adjoining secondary light exit region. Furthermore, the luminaire has a first luminous means which is arranged in the housing in such a way that light emitted by the first luminous means is emitted predominantly via the main light exit region, as well as a further luminous means which is arranged in the housing such that it radiates from the further illuminant Light is emitted predominantly via the secondary light exit region.

In such a luminaire, therefore, the light path which is taken by the light of the first luminous means may overlap with the light path of the light of the further luminous means. As a result, the lamp is suitable both for a particularly attractive accent lighting, as well as for the production of a high quality general lighting.

In this case, the first light-emitting means is arranged in the housing, that emitted by the first light source is radiated to a lesser extent on the secondary light exit region and / or arranged the further light source so that the light emitted by the further light source to a lesser extent is radiated over the main light exit area.

Advantageously, the luminaire furthermore has a transparent pane which at least partially, preferably completely, covers the secondary light exit region toward the space outside the luminaire, so that light emitted by the further luminous means is emitted at least partially through the pane. By using the disc, the radiation of the lamp through the secondary light exit area can be particularly easily influenced. For example, in this case, the pane may be matted and / or perforated in the region with which it covers the secondary light exit region, that is, for example, be formed as a perforated plate.

Advantageously, the disc is arranged so that it continues to cover the main light exit area to the space outside of the lamp out. In this case, the pane can be, for example, crystal clear and / or perforated in the area with which it covers the main light exit area.

In the region in which the pane covers the secondary light exit area, the pane can therefore be frosted, for example, and crystal clear in the area in which it covers the main light exit area. In this case, furthermore, a transparent, crystal-clear cover can be provided which the disc to the room covering outside the luminaire.

Advantageously, the first lighting means and the further lighting means are arranged at least substantially in one plane, for example on a ceiling wall of the housing. It can be provided that the light exit region is arranged in a first plane and the housing has a second plane parallel to the first plane, which is not penetrated by the reflector, the first luminous means and / or the further luminous means in the second Level are arranged. In this way, the overlap of the light paths can be effected particularly easily.

Furthermore, it can be advantageously provided that the first lighting means and the further lighting means are arranged on a circuit board. Advantageously, the board is thermally, preferably directly, connected to a heat sink, for example arranged on a downwardly facing outer surface of the heat sink.

The reflector advantageously has on its inside and / or on its outside a white surface, for example a white coating.

An optical element for guiding light emitted by the first illuminant, for example in the direction of a main illumination direction of the luminaire, is advantageously assigned to the first illuminant.

The first illuminant advantageously comprises at least one high-power light-emitting diode and / or a halogen lamp and / or a compact fluorescent lamp, wherein the first illuminant can preferably emit white light.

The further illuminant advantageously has at least one light-emitting diode or a group of light-emitting diodes, for example in RGB arrangement, wherein the further illuminant can preferably emit colored light.

In the FIGS. 1 to 4 an embodiment of a lamp according to the invention is shown. For easier readability, the following are the in Fig. 1 using the directional labels "up" and "down" indicated by arrows. The direction in which the light output of the luminaire is mainly provided is referred to as "bottom", the direction opposite this direction as "top". In Fig. 4 the main lighting direction of the luminaire is sketched with an arrow R, which is thus directed to "down".

According to the exemplary embodiment, the luminaire is a downlight. The luminaire can be designed, for example, as a ceiling luminaire.

According to the embodiment, the lamp has a housing 2, which may be designed, for example, substantially cup-shaped, so that the housing 2 has a side wall portion 3 and a - in Fig. 4 designated - ceiling wall 8 has. In the embodiment, it is provided that the lamp further comprises a heat sink 50, which is preferably arranged above the housing 2. In the embodiment, it is provided that the ceiling wall 8 is formed directly by a lower boundary wall 52 of the heat sink 50.

At the lower edge of the side wall region 3, the luminaire has a light exit region 12, through which the light exit of the luminaire is provided. In the exemplary embodiment, the light exit region 12 is bounded by the lower edge of the side wall region 3 of the housing 2 and lies at least substantially in one with it Fig. 5 designated - first level E1. The housing 2 encloses an inner space in the embodiment, which is bounded at the bottom by the light exit area 12 and a in Fig. 5 sketched indicated clear height H has.

Furthermore, in the embodiment, the shape of the lower edge of the side wall portion 3, and thus the outer shape of the light exit portion 12 is rectangular, for example, square; However, it can also be chosen any other form, for example, round.

In the housing 2, a reflector 10 is arranged. In the embodiment, the reflector 10 has an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the inner surface and / or the outer surface are coated white. The reflector 10 further includes a lower edge 30 and an upper edge 32; both edges 30, 32 may be circular and the upper edge 30 may have a smaller diameter than the lower edge 32. The reflector 10 may be rotationally symmetrical and, for example, parabolic in shape, so that its axis of symmetry coincides with the main illumination direction R of the luminaire.

Like from the FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 As can be seen, the vertical extent of the reflector 10 is less than the vertical extent of the clear height H of the housing 2 enclosed by the space. In this case, the reflector 10 is arranged in the housing 2 such that its upper edge 32 does not extend to the ceiling wall 8, but is lower than the clear height H. It can be provided, for example, that the reflector 10 is arranged in such a way in the housing 2, that he up to a height h above the Light exit area 12 which lies within that height range which is bounded below by half and above by nine tenths of the clear height H of the circumscribed by the housing 2 space.

In the sketch of the Fig. 5 these ratios are shown schematically and the height of the side wall portion 3 is approximately equated with the clear height H of the circumscribed by the housing 2 space. The height of the upper edge 32 of the reflector is denoted by h, so that, for example, 0.50h / H0.90 can be provided for the relationship of these two heights.

As continues in Fig. 5 sketched, the reflector 10 is arranged in the housing 2 such that it describes a "reflector outer area" A and a "reflector inner area" I , wherein these two spaces A, I up to the height of the upper edge 32 of Reflector 10 extend and down to the height of the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10. It may be particularly advantageously provided that the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 is at least substantially in a plane with the light exit region 12, so for example in the further above briefly mentioned first level E1.

The reflector outer region A is delimited to one side by an inner wall region of the side wall region 3 of the housing 2 and to another side by the outer wall of the reflector 10. The reflector inner region I is limited to the side only by the inner wall of the reflector 10.

The light exit region 12 is subdivided by the reflector 10, in particular by the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10, into a main light exit region 14 and an adjoining secondary light exit region 16. In this case, the main light exit region 14 can be bounded by the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 and thus also be circular. Since, in the exemplary embodiment, the lower edge of the side wall region 3 can be rectangular, for example square, the outer edge of the secondary light exit region 14 can accordingly be rectangular or square and its inner edge circular.

It is not absolutely necessary for the invention that the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 and the light exit region 12 lie exactly in one plane. It may well be provided, that the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 lies in a plane which is slightly, for example up to 1 / H 10 is displaced upwards or downwards relative to the plane of the light exit portion 12th However, it is advantageous for the purposes of the invention if the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 is arranged at least substantially in a plane with the outer edge of the light exit region 12.

Furthermore, the luminaire has a first luminous means 4, which is arranged in the housing 2 such that light emitted by the first luminous means 4 is emitted predominantly via the main light exit region 14. For this purpose, the first luminous means 4, for example, above and thereby preferably centrally with respect to the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10, be arranged. It can be provided that the first lighting means 4 is arranged in an area which is enclosed by a vertical projection of the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10.

It may preferably be provided that the light emitted by the first illuminant 4 is white or unfocused light.

The first light-emitting means 4 may comprise, for example, at least one light-emitting diode, for example a high-power light-emitting diode or a plurality of such light-emitting diodes. In the FIGS. 3 and 4 exemplarily a group of six high-power diodes is sketched, which together form the first light-emitting means 4, wherein these light-emitting diodes are arranged in a circle and thereby at one level, ie all at the same height above the light exit area 12. As in Fig. 5 indicated, for example, be provided that the first light source 4 is arranged in a second, parallel to the first plane E1 level E2, which extends above the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10, that is not interspersed by the reflector 10.

In this case, it can furthermore be provided that each light-emitting diode is associated with an optical element (not expressly shown in the figures), by which light is directed by the respective light-emitting diode in the direction of the main illumination direction R. With respect to the vertical extent can then be provided that the optical element (s) is / are arranged such that there is a vertical distance between the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10 and the optical element (s), for example at least 0.05 times the or 0.1 times the clear height H is.

However, the first illuminant 4 may also be, for example, a halogen lamp and / or a compact fluorescent lamp.

Furthermore, the luminaire has a further luminous means 6, which is arranged in the housing 2 such that light emitted by the further luminous means 6 is emitted predominantly via the secondary light exit region 16. The further luminous means 6 can in particular be arranged within the housing 2 in such a way that light emitted by the further illuminant 6 predominantly radiates into the reflector outer space A.

Dabei können die Lichtquellen wiederum oberhalb des Niveaus des oberen Rands 32 des Reflektors 10 angeordnet sein, vorzugsweise in einer Ebene mit dem ersten Leuchtemittel 4, also beispielsweise in der in Fig. 5 schematisch skizzierten zweiten Ebene E2.Preferably, it can be provided that the further lighting means 6 has a plurality of locally separate light sources, which can all be controlled jointly. The light sources can be given for example in the form of light-emitting diodes or groups of light-emitting diodes, for example by known light-emitting diodes in RGB arrangement, wherein the light sources are preferably arranged in the housing 2, that they are in view from below against the main illumination direction R in the Lamp are located outside the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10, so in other words outside the vertical projection of the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10 are arranged. Advantageously, the light sources are arranged along a ring shape which extends around the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10 around. In this case, the light sources can in turn be arranged above the level of the upper edge 32 of the reflector 10, preferably in a plane with the first luminous means 4, that is, for example in the in Fig. 5 schematically outlined second level E2.

It can preferably be provided that light emitted by the further light source 6 is colored light.

For example, it may be provided that the top wall 8 of the housing is substantially rectangular, for example square - or square with bevelled corners, as well as from the FIGS. 4 and 5 it can be seen - and thereby the further light source 6 has four light sources, which are each arranged in one of the corner regions. Of course, another form of the ceiling wall 8 may be provided, in which case advantageously the number of light sources correlates with the number of corners.

It is particularly advantageous in terms of construction or installation of the luminaire when the first luminous means 6 and the further luminous means 4 are arranged on a common circuit board 40. The circuit board 40 can preferably be provided directly on the ceiling wall 8 of the housing 2, as shown in FIG Fig. 3 is indicated. In Fig. 4 the circuit board 40 is shown in the removed state.

Advantageously, the board 40 - as in Fig. 5 shown - an edge shape, which corresponds to that of the ceiling wall 8, that covers the largest possible area of the ceiling wall 8. If the ceiling wall 8 is formed by an underside of the heat sink 50, this is particularly favorable with regard to the required dissipation of heat which generally arises during the operation of the lighting means.

Advantageously, it can furthermore be provided that the first lighting means 4 and the further lighting means 6 can be switched and / or dimmed independently of one another in a manner known per se.

According to the exemplary embodiment shown here, the luminaire furthermore has a pane 18 which is at least partially transparent in its entire area in the exemplary embodiment and the light exit area 12, ie the main light exit area 14 and the secondary light exit area 16, toward the space outside the luminaire - ie down to - covers. In the region of the lower edge of the side wall portion 3 fastening means for the disc 18 may be provided. Regarding Fig. 5 Thus, the disc can be arranged in the first plane E1. As already mentioned above, it is advantageously provided that the lower edge of the side wall region 3 and the lower edge 30 of the reflector 10 are arranged substantially in one plane, specifically in the plane E2. With Im Essentially, it should be expressed that in this case the thickness of the disc 18, as well as fasteners with which the disc 18 is supported relative to the side wall portion 3 may be neglected.

In the area in which the pane 18 covers the secondary light exit region 16, the pane 18 may be frosted so that light leaving the luminaire through the secondary light exit region 16 appears diffuse. In this way, the generation of a so-called accent light can be effected. It can also be provided that in this area, the disc 18 is otherwise designed to influence light, for example, is perforated, that is designed as a perforated plate.

In the area in which the pane 18 covers the main light exit region 14, the pane 18 can advantageously be crystal clear, so that light that leaves the light through this area is weakened as little as possible by the pane 18. However, it is also turn in this area, the disc 18 otherwise designed to influence light, for example, perforated, so formed as a perforated plate.

It can also be provided that the pane 18 is provided in the region of the main light exit region 14 completely clear or also with an opening corresponding to the shape and only in the region of the secondary light exit region 16 has a light-influencing structure and also a (not in the figures shown) further transparent element, for example in the form of another disc, is provided, with which the (first mentioned) disc 18 is covered from below.

The luminaire according to the exemplary embodiment illustrated here can preferably be operated in three different ways: If the first luminous means 4, but not the further luminous means 6 is activated, ie emits light, light is emitted predominantly via the main light exit region 14; the outside areas outside the reflector 10, as the secondary light exit area 16, appear lightened by the - for example white - light.

If the further light source 6, but not the first light source 4 is activated, the secondary light exit region 16 appears lightened, for example, strongly colored, but also a smaller amount of light is emitted via the main light exit region 14. If the transparent pane 18 (or optionally the further transparent element) is slightly dull and / or the reflector 10 is coated white, this may give the impression that the entire pane 18 is colored, with the color or the colors in the corner areas appears more intense or appear, as in the main light exit area 14th

If the first and the further illuminants are activated, the corner regions of the light exit region 12 shine correspondingly in color, and predominantly white light can be emitted for general illumination via the main light exit region 14.

If the lamps can be dimmed independently, the light phenomena can be further manipulated in a particularly appealing way.
