  • the attachment 11 is made in one piece from plastic, so that the attachment 11 is mechanically stronger and easier to connect to the vacuum cleaner 1.
  • a plastic injection molding method is used, whereby the auxiliary device 11 is simple and inexpensive to manufacture.
  • the adjusting element 21 has a spring, that is to say an elastically deformable element 23, and is designed so that, when a threshold value of the differential pressure is exceeded, it is between the two chambers 17, 19 Pressing is in a position out of the normal position and that it is in the rest position when it falls below the threshold value.
  • FIG Fig. 9 which otherwise does not differ from the first and the second embodiment, the attachment 11 is placed on a main filter 27, wherein the auxiliary device 11, the main filter 27 only partially covers.
  • further bypass openings 15 are formed, through which the suction air can flow past the additional material 13 of the auxiliary device 11.
  • the additional device 11 is no longer traversed by the entire suction air, whereby the life of the attachment 11 further increases. In this case, the user no longer has to replace the supplementary material 13 as often.
  • the present invention makes it possible with simple constructive and cost-effective means to provide a vacuum cleaner with an additional device for additional treatment of the suction air, which can allow in particular a removal of particles from the suction air and a release of substances for odor control in the suction air.
  • the pressure loss at the attachment during operation can be minimized by a bypass opening, whereby a constant Suction capacity of the vacuum cleaner can be achieved.
  • the invention proposes an improved and cost-effective additional device that can be attached to various parts of the vacuum cleaner by adhesion.
