Definitions
- the invention relates to a liquid pump according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
- liquid pumps designed as gear pumps consist of a rotatably arranged drive shaft which leads into a pump housing of the liquid pump.
- a pump unit with at least one gear, which represents the pumping function.
- the drive shaft is performed only on one side of the pump housing and transmits drive energy to the at least one gear.
- This bushing must be sealed with a gasket designed, for example, as a radial shaft seal. If the fluid pump is loaded with a system pressure applied in front of the fluid pump, this shaft seal absorbs the pending pressure by the shaft seal sealing the pump housing from the environment.
- a liquid pump having a pump housing and a pump unit arranged in the pump unit for generating a pressure of the liquid or a pressure level of the liquid.
- a drive shaft is provided, which is mounted on a bearing unit in the pump housing.
- the liquid pump according to the invention according to the features of independent claim 1 has the advantage that the storage unit is provided to In addition, a sealing function to take over, whereby the pressure at the shaft seal is significantly reduced.
- it can also be used in liquid pumps with high pressures or high pressure levels, such as in the motor vehicle up to 140 bar, without the pressure level of the liquid pump limited or the shaft seal must be designed reinforced.
- the bearing unit takes over two functions, whereby an additional component for sealing can be omitted. The liquid pump can thus be made much more compact and cheaper.
- the sealing function is an at least partial sealing of the pump housing on the drive shaft against the environment. This creates a seal in the pump housing before the shaft seal, so that the shaft seal is relieved in relation to its sealing function or to the level of applied by him radial forces and thus can be designed more cost-effective at lower pressures.
- the seal is preferably dependent on the pressure generated by the pump unit, so that only small leaks flow past the bearing unit into a leakage cross section of the pump arranged between bearing unit and shaft seal, whereby the pressure at the shaft seal increases only very slowly. Since, in particular in the area of brake control systems in motor vehicles, high pressures are applied for a maximum of 15 seconds, the amount of this leakage is limited in time. If the pressure is reduced again after braking, the seal is reduced again and the leakage in front of the shaft seal can flow back into the pump housing. The result is a variable sealing function, which is easily controllable by changing the pressure.
- the bearing unit when a predetermined pressure is exceeded, can be pressed against the drive shaft and / or the pump housing, so that the pressure at the shaft sealing ring is significantly reduced. At maximum pressure, the bearing unit takes over a major part of the sealing function and thus relieves the shaft seal.
- the bearing unit is at least one radial bearing, which has a slot, which results in a deformability of the bearing unit and thus a compressibility of the bearing unit to the drive shaft and / or the pump housing.
- a particularly pronounced deformability of the bearing unit results when the material of the radial bearing is completely interrupted by the slot.
- the radial bearing is thereby axially variable over its entire length in its circumference.
- the slot preferably runs obliquely to a transverse axis of the radial bearing.
- Fig. 1 shows a liquid pump 10 according to the invention in the form of a gear pump with a pump housing 12, which has an interior 24 with an inlet not shown here, a suction side and also not shown here expiry of a pressure side.
- a rotatably arranged drive shaft 16 which drives a pump unit 14 arranged in the interior 24 of the pump housing 12, leads into the pump housing 12 via a shaft passage to be sealed.
- the pump unit 14 serves to convey the liquid to produce a correspondingly high pressure level of the liquid.
- a pressure level of up to 140 bar may occur.
- the liquid is in this case pumped in the usual way from the suction side to the pressure side of the liquid pump 10.
- the pump unit 14 preferably has a gear transmission, which is not visible here, which as a rule comprises at least two toothed wheels, one of which is driven via the drive shaft 16. Depending on the arrangement and size of the gears, this can preferably be an external gear, an internal gear, a toothed ring pump or a screw pump.
- the liquid pump 10 usually evenly pumps the liquid to be pumped.
- the drive shaft 16 is rotatably supported in the pump housing 12 via a bearing unit 18. Between the shaft passage and the drive shaft 16, a shaft seal 26 is arranged to seal the pump housing 12 to the drive shaft 16 to the outside or against the environment.
- the shaft seal 26 is arranged with a fixed seat in a recess 28 of the pump housing 12.
- the shaft seal 26 is formed as a radial shaft seal, which presses radially on the surface of the drive shaft 16.
- the shaft seal 26 must be designed according to the pressure level occurring in the pump housing 12, i.
- the shaft seal 26 must apply sufficiently large radial forces depending on the pressure level to fulfill its function.
- a leakage cross section 30 is arranged on the assumption of leakage between the shaft seal 26 and the bearing unit 18.
- the bearing unit 18 is provided for supporting the drive shaft 16 in the pump housing 12 to additionally assume a sealing function.
- this is an at least partial sealing of the pump housing 12 on the drive shaft 16 against the environment or to the outside.
- the seal is dependent on the pressure level of the liquid pump 10. Namely, by the bearing unit 18 is pressed at a predetermined pressure p is exceeded on the drive shaft 16 and / or the pump housing 12, wherein it is at the pressure p to the system pressure, which rests in front of the liquid pump 10. This creates a seal that is dependent on the pressure level and thus significantly reduces the pressure at the shaft seal 26.
- the storage unit 18 is according to Fig. 2 at least one radial bearing, which has a slot 20 and is designed as a slotted component.
- the material of the radial bearing 18 is completely interrupted by the slot 20 and preferably designed to be resilient.
- the slot 20 extends obliquely to a transverse axis 22 of the radial bearing 18 in the radial bearing 18.
- the slot 20 of the radial bearing 18 narrows. That is, with increasing pressure p, the radial bearing 18 against the pump housing 12 and the drive shaft 16 pressed and thus seals.
- the radial bearing 18 is designed as a plain bearing.

Description
-
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- zeigt die als Radiallager ausgeführte Lagereinheit gemäß
Fig. 1 . -
