Description
The invention relates to an active agent throwing system for firing non-lethal active agents of a vehicle, in particular a police or military vehicle having the features of the preamble of
The invention is based on known non-lethal agents, which are present for example as 40 mm - mist cartridges or 40 mm - Irritant cartridges and are ignited by means of a mechanical firing pin.
The changed mission profile of the German Armed Forces and its partners has changed the range of vehicles used as well as their armament and required level of protection. Smaller and lighter vehicles are being used to an increasing extent.
While this vehicle may be remotely operated by the crew from inside the vehicle, it is necessary for crew members to relinquish the protected interior of the vehicle to manually deliver the agent cartridges to the launcher. Reloading is therefore associated with an increased risk to the crew.
The invention has for its object to design a detergent dispensing system for firing non-lethal agents with the features of the preamble of
The solution of this object is achieved according to the invention with the features of the characterizing part of
A basic idea of the invention is to provide the mounting device, via which one or more launcher devices are arranged on the vehicle, with a pivotable launcher arm to which the launcher devices are fastened. The launcher arm may consist of a lowered in the direction of the vehicle rest position, in the loading of the launching devices can be carried out with active agent cartridges are swung up in an upright launching position. As explained in more detail below with reference to embodiments, the system can be constructed very compact and compact and, for example, be arranged on the roof of a vehicle. It is very quickly operational, rechargeable under protection and allows depending on the specific training very different types of applications. Thus, for example, depending on the training and orientation of the launching devices, the active ingredients can be fanned, for example, to produce fog or fired at the launch of irritants targeted. There are single shots or salvo shots possible. In particularly advantageous embodiments of the inventive active substance throwing system, a magazine box is arranged in the swivel range of the launcher arm, from which in the rest position of the launcher arm, this can be supplied to this automatically new new active agent cartridges.

- Launcher system according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that each discharging device is constructed from two components, namely a discharging tube (16) and a receiving support (17), the discharging tube (16) being detachably inserted into the receiving support (17) and, to form a launching module, the receiving support (17) being detachably inserted into firing device (18) which contains a striking pin igniting device (19) and a munition detection sensor (20) and which is connected to a base frame (25) arranged on the mounting device and serving to receive a plurality of launching modules, the discharging tube (16) in particular being inserted into the receiving support (17) in the axial direction and in particular being fastened by means of bayonet fastening (16.1 - 17.1).
- Launcher system according to Claim 13, characterised in that the weapon cartridges are insertable through the receiving support (17), provided with a through-opening, into the discharging tube (16).
- Launcher system according to one of Claims 13 or 14, characterised in that the striking pin igniting device (19) and the munition detection sensor (20) are connected via electric supply lines (19.1, 20.1) to a control and indicating unit (9) arranged in the inside of the vehicle (F1, F2, F3).
