Abstract

Zahnradpumpe mit mindestens zwei im Außeneingriff kämmenden Zahnrädern (16A, 16B), die mit ihren Flachseiten direkt oder indirekt an Gehäusedeckeln (14A, 14B) der Zahnradpumpe anliegen. Zumindest ein Antriebszahnrad (16A) ist mit Wellenzapfen versehen und drehfest damit verbunden, wobei die Wellenzapfen beidseitig des mindestens einen Antriebszahnrades angeordnet und in dem jeweils benachbarten Gehäusedeckel (14A, 14B) drehgelagert sind. Einer der Wellenzapfen des Antriebszahnrades (16A) ist verlängert und als Antriebsdrehzapfen (18A) durch den benachbarten Gehäusedeckel (14A) nach außen geführt. Um das Austreten von zu pumpendem Fluid zu verhindern, ist eine Wellendichtung (26) für den Antriebsdrehzapfen (18A) vorgesehen. Die Wellendichtung ist auf der den Pumpenzahnrädern (16A, 16B) zugewandten Innenseite des von dem Antriebsdrehzapfen (18A) durchdrungenen ersten Gehäusedeckels (14A) in einer zahnradseitigen Aussparung (24) des Gehäusedeckels (14A) angeordnet. Erfindungsgemäß ist diese Aussparung dabei mit einer auf der dem Pumpenraum zugewandten Seite angeordneten Vorkammer (24A) versehen, wodurch die Wellendichtung (26) mit ständig sich austauschendem zu pumpendem Fluid versorgbar ist.

Gear pump with at least two externally meshing gears (16A, 16B), which bear with their flat sides directly or indirectly on housing covers (14A, 14B) of the gear pump. At least one drive gear (16A) is provided with shaft journals and non-rotatably connected thereto, wherein the shaft journals are arranged on both sides of the at least one drive gear wheel and are rotatably mounted in the respectively adjacent housing cover (14A, 14B). One of the shaft journals of the drive gear (16A) is extended and guided outwardly as a drive pivot (18A) through the adjacent housing cover (14A). To prevent the escape of fluid to be pumped, a shaft seal (26) is provided for the drive pivot (18A). The shaft seal is arranged on the inside of the pump housing (16A, 16B) facing the inner side of the drive pivot (18A) penetrated first housing cover (14A) in a gear-side recess (24) of the housing cover (14A). According to the invention, this recess is provided with an antechamber (24A) arranged on the side facing the pump chamber, whereby the shaft seal (26) can be supplied with constantly exchanging fluid to be pumped.
