Claims (5)

  1. An operating handle (1) for an opening, in particular an opening in a vehicle, such handle comprising a gripper element (3) integral with drive means (4a, 4b) intended to engage on a control pin (2) of a lock of the opening, such handle comprising means (14, 18) enabling at least one part of the gripper element (3) to swivel without breaking and this with respect to a pivot pin (8, 19) perpendicular to the control pin (2) further to a calibrated tension exerted on the gripper element (3) by a component parallel to the control pin (2), the gripper element (3) remaining manoeuvrable after such swivelling, wherein the drive means (4) comprise two parts: a bush (4a) fitted to the control pin (2) and incorporating an internal profile cooperating with the control pin (2) so as to make it integral in rotation with the bush (4a), and a sleeve (4b) integral with the gripper element (3) and hinged with respect to the bush (4a) at the swivel axis (8), the means enabling such swivelling being constituted by this hinge associated with means that enable swivelling at the hinge (8) only for a calibrated tension exerted on the gripper element (3).
  2. An operating handle according to Claim 1, wherein the sleeve (4b) is made integral with the bush (4a) using shearable linking means (14).
  3. An operating handle according to Claim 2, wherein the shearable linking means (14) are constituted by a screw or cylindrical pin parallel to the pivot pin.
  4. An operating handle according to Claim 2, wherein the shearable linking means are constituted by at least one welding spot or at least one point of adhesive.
  5. An operating handle according to Claim 1, wherein the handle (4b) is made integral with the bush (4a) by the tight fitting of the pivot pin (8).
