Letzteres bedeutet, daß ein defekt gewordener neuerungsgemäßer Beschlag mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden kann. Außerdem bietet ein derartiger Handgriff, Garderoben haken od. dgl. Beschlag noch erhebliche Vorteile bezüglich einer Brandgefahr: Neuerungsgemäße Beschläge sind nämlich nur normal entflammbar wie z.B. Buchenholz (DIN 4102); gemäß dieser Norm kann ein neuerungsgemäßer Handgriff od. dgl. Be schlag mit dem Wert B2 klassifiziert werden und er bietet dabei noch folgenden Vorteil: Wegen des Metallkerns verbleibt bei dem Handgriff, Garderobenhaken od. dgl. neuerungsgemäßen Beschlag auch im Falle eines Abbrandes immer noch ein bedien barer Kern, so daß man z.B. auch bei abgebranntem überzug noch eine Tür od. dgl. öffnen kann.
