Ornamental metalwork.-In a method of making die cast door handles &c. the lever portion a, Figs. 2, 3, is cast to U-section and the flanges are subsequently bent over to convert the handle to tubular form, Fig. 4. The attachment end b and extremity a<SP>1</SP> are cast integrally but are separated from the flanges by slots c, d. Longitudinal grooves e facilitate bending and provide a decorative feature.
