Claims (10)

  1. Container (1) for the storage of objects, particularly waste, with a holder (2) for clamping a bag, wherein the holder (2) comprises means for fixing an open end section of the bag, wherein an actuating mechanism is provided, by means of which two clamping jaws (3) are movable relative to one another in order to open or close the bag, and the clamping jaws (3) are arranged below the holder (2) for fixing the end section, wherein the actuation mechanism comprises at least one pedal (8) by means of which the clamping jaws (3) are movable and the pedal (8) is biased by a spring (15), characterised in that through pressing the pedal (8) the clamping jaws (3) are closed or opened in alternation and each clamping jaw (3) is pivotably mounted on a lever (4), wherein the two levers (4) are coupled together by way of a transmission (30).
  2. Container (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that an entrainer (10, 11) which can be brought into engagement with a drive element (7) actuable by way of the pedal (8) is provided at at least one lever (4).
  3. Container (1) according to claim 2, characterised in that two entrainers (10, 11) which are selectably brought into engagement with the drive element (7) for opening or closing are provided.
  4. Container (1) according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the actuating mechanism comprises a cam guide in order to pivot the drive element (7) relative to one or the other entrainer (10,11).
  5. Container (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the drive element (7) is constructed as a rotatable double hook, the axis (14) of rotation of which is displaceable.
  6. Container (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the clamping jaws (3) have a guide plate (9) at the outwardly directed side thereof.
  7. Container (1) according to claim 6, characterised in that each guide plate (9) is inclined downwardly relative to the clamping jaw (3) in a closed position.
  8. Container (1) according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the guide plate (9) is pivotably mounted on the clamping jaw (3).
  9. Container (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the holder (2) is constructed as a frame to which the end section of the bag is fixable.
  10. Container (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the holder (2) is pivotably mounted at the container (1).
