[Also in Division B5] A waste disposal unit 41 of the type described in Specification No. 1,037,576, having a supporting structure for a bag 42 of flexible plastics or other sheet material, said structure having two relatively movable parts 43 and 44 for removably suspending the bag by its mouth whereby on appropriate relative movement of the parts the bag is opened and closed, and having means 55 for effecting permanent closure or sealing of the bag prior to its removal from the supporting structure, is characterized by the relatively movable parts of the supporting structure having upwardly directed projections or teeth 49 for hook engagement with perforations therefor at the mouth portion of the bag. The unit may be adapted to be mounted on a wall.
