Claims (11)

  1. Lid opener for large containers with slide lids comprising lid pegs, which lid opener is disposed in the vicinity of the feed aperture of a collection container of a refuse-collecting vehicle, having a pivotable device for engaging the lid peg, on which device there engages a drive device for moving the pivotable device into inoperative and operative positions,
    characterised in that
    the drive device (12) engages via a control lever (50) on a horizontally disposed pivot shaft (11), on which the device for engaging the lid peg (7) is secured in a freely rotatable manner, which device comprises at least one buffer part (30) and a locking device, which cooperate with the control lever (50) in dependency on the setting of the pivot shaft (11) to establish the pivot range of the device for engaging the lid pegs.
  2. Lid opener according to Claim 1, characterised in that the device for engaging the lid pegs (7) comprises two pivot arms (20a,b) disposed at a distance from one another, and comprising, in each case, a guiding plate (21) and a buffer (22) for the lid pegs (7).
  3. Lid opener according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the control lever (50) comprises, at a distance from the pivot lever (11), a pin (51) on which the pivot arm (20a,b) abuts with the buffer part (30) as the lower pivot delimitation.
  4. Lid opener according to one of Claims 11 to 3, characterised in that the locking device is, in each case, a drop latch (40), which is disposed in a pivotable manner on the pivot arm (20a,b) and engages on the pin (51) in the rest position and locks the pivot arm (20a,b), and which releases the pin (51) into the operating position when the pivot arm is lowered.
  5. Lid opener according to Claim 4,
    characterised in that the drop latch (40) comprises a buffer extension (43), with which the drop latch (40), when it is in the operating position, engages on an abutment of the control lever (50).
  6. Lid opener according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the buffer extension (43) is disposed on the drop latch (40) in such a manner that, in the unlocked position, the aperture (42) of the drop latch (40) defines, with the pin (51) of the control lever (50), an approximately vertical line.
  7. Lid opener according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the drive device (12) is a piston-cylinder unit (13,14) which is driven by a pressure medium.
  8. Lid opener according to Claim 7, characterised in that the cylinder (13) is secured on the collection vehicle (2), and in that the piston (14) is articulated directly on the control lever (50).
  9. Lid opener according to Claim 7, characterised in that the cylinder (13) is secured on the collection vehicle (2), and in that the piston (14) is articulated on the control lever (50) via a deflection lever (15) and a control rod (16).
  10. Lid opener according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the control lever (50) is formed in such a manner that the articulation points of the pivot shaft (11) and the drive device (12) or the control rod (16) and the pin (51) form a right-angled triangle.
  11. Lid opener according to one of Claims 4 to 10, characterised in that the drop latch (40) is disposed in the vicinity of the buffer part (30) in a freely moveable manner on the pivot arm (20a,b).
