Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne le domaine de l'emballage, notamment l'emballage de produits volumineux et éventuellement lourds.
- On emploie pour le transport d'objets volumineux des caisses combinées à un support formant palette, l'ensemble étant agencé pour rendre le chargement, le déchargement, et la manutention par des engins de levage, à la fois aisés et sûrs ; elles sont aussi réalisées en un matériau durable qui en permet une utilisation prolongée. Un exemple connu de caisse palette est constitué d'une base formant palette, d'une ceinture et d'un couvercle. La palette comprend un plateau supporté par des plots verticaux qui lui sont solidaires, permettant le passage des bras ou des fourches d'un engin de levage. Les plots sont souvent reliés entre eux par des semelles parallèles assurant une répartition de la charge sur le sol tout renforçant les plots. La base est conformée de manière à recevoir et caler la ceinture.
- La ceinture est formée de plusieurs plaques articulées entre elles. Par exemple, il peut s'agir d'une plaque en matière plastique pliée suivant certains axes. Elle repose sur la palette par un bord soit directement soit par l'intermédiaire d'une base qui elle-même repose sur la palette. La ceinture, mise en volume en position déployée, ménage un espace cylindrique à section polygonale, généralement un parallélépipède rectangle, dont le contour est adapté à celui de la palette. La ceinture peut être démontée, pliée autour de ses axes de pliage, et mise à plat de façon à pouvoir être posée sur la palette en occupant un volume réduit pour un transport ou un stockage à vide de l'ensemble.
- Le couvercle est conformé de manière à pouvoir être placé sur la ceinture lorsque cette dernière est déployée et dressée sur la palette, et fermer la caisse. Selon l'art antérieur l'agencement et la forme du couvercle permettent à ce dernier de former ensemble avec la base reposant sur la palette ou la palette elle-même, un contenant pour la ceinture pliée et mis à plat.
- La présente invention vise à améliorer les caisses de l'art antérieur.
- Conformément à une première caractéristique, la caisse de l'invention, telle qu'une caisse palette, comportant un couvercle, des zones d'appui pour le gerbage d'une palette étant ménagées sur le couvercle, est caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins une des dites zones d'appui comprend un moyen antidérapant.
- Cette caractéristique s'applique à une caisse formant ou non caisse palette, et plus particulièrement à un couvercle réalisé en matière plastique moulée. Les zones d'appui sont avantageusement venues de moulage et constituent des logements pour les semelles ou bien les plots de palettes que l'on vient placer dessus.
- On réalise de préférence le moyen antidérapant en matériau élastomère que l'on rapporte, selon une autre caractéristique, de manière amovible sur le couvercle. Ainsi selon un mode de réalisation préféré le moyen antidérapant est constitué d'un bloc en matériau élastomère fixé sur le couvercle par un moyen de fixation amovible. Plus particulièrement le moyen de fixation est formé d'une tige solidaire du bloc en matériau élastomère et d'une cavité sur le couvercle formant un logement pour la tige.
- Conformément à une autre caractéristique, la caisse comprend une ceinture amovible et une base. La ceinture amovible est disposée entre la base et le couvercle. Un moyen de verrouillage est ménagé entre la ceinture et l'un au moins de la base et du couvercle.
- Par le moyen de verrouillage, on offre une grande flexibilité d'utilisation de la caisse. La ceinture amovible est comme cela est en soi connu, pliable à plat. Ses dimensions lui permettent un retour ou un stockage à vide de la caisse en occupant le volume le plus faible possible. Le moyen de verrouillage comporte de manière avantageuse un témoin de verrouillage qui permet de s'assurer de l'inviolabilité du contenu de la caisse sans avoir recours à des moyens, tels que des moyens de cerclage par exemple.
- Conformément à un mode de réalisation, le moyen de verrouillage est formé d'un pêne mobile par rapport à son support fixe, et est pourvu d'un témoin antieffraction. Plus particulièrement, le témoin antieffraction comprend un anneau que l'on fixe entre le pêne et le support fixe de ce dernier, l'anneau étant rompu par le déplacement du pêne.
- Conformément à une autre caractéristique, la caisse comprend un moyen de centrage entre la base et le couvercle. Il est de préférence formé par au moins une paire de languettes, lesdites languettes étant agencées pour coopérer avec le couvercle quand celui repose directement sur la base. Plus particulièrement, les languettes du moyen de centrage s'étendent perpendiculairement à la base, une encoche de forme complémentaire étant ménagée dans le couvercle pour recevoir la languette.
- L'invention s'applique particulièrement à une caisse palette dont la base formant palette est, avec le couvercle, réalisée par moulage de matière plastique. Par exemple, ils peuvent être réalisés par thermoformage double peau. La ceinture est formée d'une plaque en matière plastique sur laquelle on a prévu des axes de pliage.
- Une forme de réalisation de l'invention va maintenant être décrite plus en détail, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, en référence aux dessins annexés sur lesquels :
- La
figure 1 représente, vue en perspective, une caisse palette conforme à l'invention, montée, - La
figure 2 représente, vue en perspective, la caisse de lafigure 1 dont le volume a été réduit par enlèvement de la ceinture, - La
figure 2a montre le couvercle de la caisse palette, vu de dessus, - La
figure 3 représente, seule, la base formant palette de la caisse de lafigure 1 , - La
figure 4 montre en perspective un détail de la base avec une rainure pour le logement de la ceinture et un moyen de centrage sur le rebord, - Les
figures 5a, 5b et 5c montrent le moyen antidérapant pour les zones d'appui sur le couvercle de la caisse palette de lafigure 1 , - La
figure 6 est une vue en coupe du couvercle de la caisse de lafigure 2 selon la direction VI-VI, - Les
figures 7 et 8 montrent le moyen de verrouillage vu de dessus dans les deux positions, rétractée et étendue, - La
figure 9 montre un exemple de gerbage d'une palette standard sur le couvercle de la caisse. - La caisse palette 1 de la
figure 1 est en trois éléments principaux : une base 3 formant palette, une ceinture 5 et un couvercle 7. Ici les trois éléments sont en matière plastique. La base formant palette 3 est formée d'un plateau 31 supporté par des plots 32. Dans cet exemple on a trois rangées de trois plots. Les plots 32 dans une rangée sont reliés entre eux à la base par une semelle 33. La base formant palette 3, c'est-à-dire le plateau et les plots, est ici obtenue par moulage à partir de deux feuilles en matière plastique, par exemple par thermoformage double peau. Cette technique est connue en soi. - La ceinture 5 est formée de panneaux 50, en matière plastique, articulés autour d'axes de pliage perpendiculaires à la base 3. Dans cet exemple la ceinture est obtenue par pliage d'une plaque en polypropylène. Une plaque convenant pour cette application est une plaque en polypropylène avec un structure à bulles commercialisée sous la marque Akyboard ®, ou bien une plaque alvéolaire commercialisée sous la marque Akylux ®. La plaque est rainurée par compression locale pour former les axes de pliage. Cette ceinture en position déployée sur la
figure 1 repose par son bord inférieur sur la base 3. Lafigure 3 montre cette base. Le plateau 31 est bordé d'un rebord 31a, de faible hauteur, qui dépasse de peu le plan du plateau. Une rainure 31b sépare le rebord 31a du plateau 31. La largeur et la profondeur de la rainure sont suffisantes pour permettre au bord inférieur de la ceinture 5, non représentée sur lafigure 3 , de venir se loger dans la rainure 31b tout en le calant. - On note les cavités des plots 32. La base formant palette est ici constituée de deux feuilles déformées à chaud pour mettre en forme ses différents composants : plots, rebord, rainure, etc.
- La base formant palette 3 comporte également des moyens de calage 31c en forme de languettes trapézoïdales dressées depuis le bord supérieur des rebords 31a. Ces languettes 31c sont soit rapportées sur le rebord soit moulées ensemble avec le reste de la base 3.
- On observe que le plateau 31 de la base est pourvu de moyens de verrouillage 4 comprenant un pêne 41 coulissant dans une glissière ménagée dans le plateau 31. Le pêne 41, en position étendue, traverse la rainure 31b et a pour fonction de verrouiller la ceinture 5 sur la base 3 qui est percée d'une fente en cet endroit. On voit sur la
figure 4 le pêne 41 en position rétractée sur le bord intérieur de la rainure 31b ; la ceinture n'a pas été représentée. - La
figure 2 montre la caisse 1 dont le couvercle est posé directement sur la base. La ceinture 5 a été enlevée est a pu être placée a l'intérieur de la boîte formée par la base 3 et le couvercle 7. Elle est non visible. Le couvercle est ici réalisé par thermoformage double peau. Le couvercle comprend un plateau 71 bordé de flancs 72 dont la hauteur est suffisante pour former avec la base 3 un volume apte contenir la ceinture 5 repliée. Le bord libre 72a des flancs 72 repose sur le bord libre des rebords 31a de la base 3. Au droit des languettes 31c, les flancs sont échancrés. La forme de l'échancrure 72b est adaptée à celle des languettes 31c. Ils forment ensemble un moyen de centrage du couvercle sur la base. La forme trapézoïdale permet une mise en place sans heurt. - Le couvercle comprend des zones 71b d'appui pour le gerbage. Ces zones d'appui sont conçues pour recevoir et caler les semelles ou les plots d'une palette standard : telle que du type Euro-palette. Sur la
figure 2 ou2a , le couvercle comprend trois zones d'appui 71b. Ces zones sont de forme allongée et s'étendent d'un bord à l'autre du couvercle, au droit des semelles 33 lorsque le couvercle est placé sur la caisse palette. Ils sont en creux par rapport à la surface du plateau 71 et d'une profondeur et d'une largeur suffisantes pour que les semelles ou les plots d'une palette gerbée soient retenus latéralement. On voit un tel empilement sur lafigure 9 . Les zones d'appui peuvent également être conformées pour recevoir les plots d'une palette sans semelle. - Conformément à une caractéristique de l'invention, les zones d'appui 71b sont équipées de moyens antidérapants 8. Ces moyens antidérapants ont pour fonction d'empêcher le glissement longitudinal des semelles posées sur le couvercle. Les zones d'appui 71b comprennent au moins un moyen antidérapant 8. Sur la
figure 2a , l'exemple représenté comporte quatre moyens antidérapants par zone d'appui 71b. Sur lafigure 5c , qui représente une partie agrandie d'une zone d'appui 71b, un logement 71c est moulé dans le couvercle dans le fond de la zone d'appui. Au centre de ce logement 71c est percée une cavité 71d. Le logement 71c de forme carré est apte à contenir un bloc en matériau élastomère 81 présentant des propriétés antidérapantes, par exemple en caoutchouc styrène butadiène (SBR/NR). Le bloc élastomère est ici carré et sa surface de contact supérieure est taillée, avec un motif en damier par exemple, accroissant le caractère anti-glissant du matériau. - Le bloc se prolonge du côté opposé à la surface de contact par une tige 82 perpendiculaire à la surface, avec une collerette 82c dimensionnée pour coopérer avec la cavité 71d du logement 71c et constituer un moyen de fixation amovible du bloc élastomère antidérapant 8 sur le couvercle 7. Lorsque la tige est logée dans la cavité, la collerette est maintenue serrée dans la cavité. Les flancs de la cavité forment un moyen de retenue du bloc antidérapant. Cet agencement permet le remplacement du bloc élastomère lorsque celui-ci est endommagé ou bien usé.
- Le couvercle est pourvu comme la base 3 de moyens de verrouillage 4', ici quatre, entre le couvercle et la ceinture. Un moyen 4' est illustré sur les
figures 6, 7 et 8 . Ce moyen 4' comprend un pêne 41' mobile en translation à l'intérieur d'une glissière ménagée dans le couvercle 7 ; il est actionné par une poignée 41'a qui le prolonge. Comme on le voit sur lafigure 6 , le moyen de verrouillage 4' est logé dans le fond d'une cavité 71e du couvercle 7. Le pêne 41' dans sa position étendue est disposé en travers de la rainure 72c. Lorsque la ceinture est en place, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour lafigure 6 , et le couvercle posé sur le bord supérieur de la ceinture, ce dernier engage le bord dans la rainure 72c ménagée entre le flanc 72 et le plateau 71. Il retient la ceinture 5 en passant au travers d'une fente découpée dans le panneau de la ceinture. - Pour permettre de vérifier que le chargement a conservé son intégrité, on dispose un témoin anti effraction sur le moyen de verrouillage 4'. Il est constitué par un anneau 9 qui, lorsque le pêne est étendu, est engagé dans un orifice 41'b du pêne et un orifice 71e' du fond de la cavité 71 e du plateau. Les deux orifices 71e' et 41'b sont dans le prolongement l'un de l'autre quand le pêne 41' est dans cette position seulement, voir
figure 8 . L'anneau se referme en passant par la boucle de la poignée 41'a que l'on actionne de l'extérieur de la caisse par une fenêtre 71e" qui dans le mode de réalisation de lafigure 6 forme une glissière pour la poignée 41'a. - On a représenté, sur la
figure 9 , un exemple de gerbage d'une palette standard P sur la caisse palette. Les semelles de la palette standard viennent se placer dans les zones d'appui ménagées sur le couvercle. A la fois par le calage latéral et les moyens antidérapants la palette est maintenue en place de manière sûre. Les zones d'appui permettent aussi le gerbage de palettes avec de simples plots non liés par des semelles. Un autre exemple de gerbage consiste à gerber deux caisses palettes 800X600 mm sur un couvercle 1200X800 mm qui sont les dimensions standards.
Claims (15)
- Caisse (1), telle qu'une caisse palette, comportant un couvercle (7), des zones d'appui (71b) pour le gerbage d'une palette étant ménagées sur le couvercle, caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins une des dites zones d'appui (71b) comprend un moyen antidérapant (8).
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont le moyen antidérapant (8) est formé d'un matériau élastomère.
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont le moyen antidérapant (8) est constitué d'un bloc en matériau élastomère (81) fixé sur le couvercle par un moyen de fixation.
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont le moyen de fixation est amovible.
- Caisse, selon la revendication 4 ou 5, dont le moyen de fixation est formé d'une tige (82) solidaire du bloc en matériau élastomère (81) et d'une cavité (71d) sur le couvercle (7) formant un logement pour la tige (82).
- Caisse, selon l'une des revendications précédentes, comprenant une base (3) et une ceinture (5) amovible disposée entre la base (3) et le couvercle (7).
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, comprenant un moyen de verrouillage (4, 4') entre la ceinture (5) et l'un au moins de la base (3) et le couvercle (5).
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont le moyen de verrouillage (4') est formé d'un pêne (41') mobile par rapport à son support fixe, pourvu d'un témoin antieffraction.
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont le témoin antieffraction comprend un anneau (9) que l'on fixe entre le pêne (41') et son support fixe, l'anneau (9) étant rompu par le déplacement du pêne.
- Caisse, selon l'une des revendications 6 à 9, comprenant un moyen de centrage entre la base (3) et le couvercle formé par au moins une paire de languettes (31c), lesdites languettes (31c) étant agencées pour coopérer avec le couvercle (7) quand celui repose directement sur la base (3).
- Caisse, selon la revendication précédente, dont la languette (31c) du moyen de centrage s'étend perpendiculairement à la base.
- Caisse, selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dont le couvercle est réalisé par moulage de matière plastique.
- Caisse, selon la revendication 12, dont le couvercle est réalisé par thermoformage double peau.
- Caisse, selon l'une des revendications 6 à 13, dont la base forme une palette.
