Claims (19)

  1. Method for stabilizing the width (B) of a marking line (14') in marking machines (1) spraying a marking line color under spraying pressure by means of at least one spray nozzle (6) onto a surface (14) to be marked,

    the position of the spray nozzle (6) in relation to the surface (14) to be marked is controlled with the help of the spray pressure or a pressure of another fluid depending on the spray pressure, stabilizing the marking line width (B) upon spray pressure changes.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that a distance (A) from the spray nozzle (6) to the surface (14) to be marked is controlled.
  3. Method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a rotational position of the spray nozzle (6) is controlled around an essentially vertical axis relative to the surface (14) to be marked.
  4. Method according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that a rotational position of the spray nozzle (6) is controlled around an axis essentially extending horizontally and transversely to the longitudinal direction of the marking line (14') relative to the surface (14) to be marked.
  5. Method according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the spray pressure or the pressure of the other fluid depending on the spray pressure acts upon a piston-cylinder unit (13) changing the position of the spray nozzle (6) in relation to the surface (14) to be marked and counteracting a reset force.
  6. Method according to claim 5, characterized in that the reset force is varied - depending on the geometry of different spray nozzles (6) and/or on the properties of different marking line colors - and adjusted to desired values.
  7. Method according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the reset force is generated by at least one spring (17).
  8. Method according to any one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the other fluid is a hydraulic fluid which serves as the drive fluid of a hydraulically driven pump (2) for conveying the marking line color.
  9. Method according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the spray pressure or the pressure of the other fluid depending on the spray pressure is detected by at least one pressure sensor and transmitted to an electric or electronic control unit and that the control unit adjusts, depending on the pressure, an electric or electronic adjusting device changing the position of the spray nozzle (6) in relation to the surface (14) to be marked.
  10. Marking machine (1) for creating marking lines (14') by spraying marking line color under spray pressure by means of at least one spray nozzle (6) onto a surface (14) to be marked,
    characterized in that
    the spray nozzle (6) or a spray gun (5) featuring same is attached to a holder (8) adjustable in its position in relation to the surface (14) to be marked - depending on the spray pressure or a pressure of another fluid depending on the spray pressure - stabilizing the marking line width (B) upon spray pressure changes.
  11. Marking machine according to claim 10, characterized in that the holder (8) is adjustable in its distance (A) to the surface (14) to be marked.
  12. Marking machine according to claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the holder (8) is adjustable around an essentially vertical axis relative to the surface (14) to be marked.
  13. Marking machine according to claim 10, 11 or 12, characterized in that the holder (8) is adjustable around an axis essentially extending horizontally and transversely to the longitudinal direction of the marking line (14') relative to the surface (14) to be marked.
  14. Marking machine according to any one of the claims 10 to 13, characterized in that a reset force is applied to the holder (8) acting in the direction of an enlargement of the width (B) of the marking line (14') and that the holder (8) is adjustable against the reset force by means of a piston-cylinder unit (13) to which the spray pressure or the pressure of another fluid depending on the spray pressure can be applied in direction of a reduction of the width (B) of the marking line (14').
  15. Marking machine according to claim 14, characterized in that the action of the force of the piston-cylinder unit (13) and/or the reset force is variable - depending on the geometry of different spray nozzles (6) and/or the properties of different marking line colors - and adjustable to desired values.
  16. Marking machine according to claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the reset force is generated by at least one spring (17).
  17. Marking machine according to claim 16, characterized in that the holder (8) comprises a coupling lever arrangement (9, 10) connected with the spring (17) and with the piston-cylinder unit (13) and that the spring (17) and/or the piston-cylinder unit (13) are/is variable in their/its connecting position to the coupling lever arrangement (9, 10).
  18. Marking machine according to any one of the claims 10 to 17, characterized in that it comprises at least one hydraulically drivable pump (2) for conveying the marking line color and that the other fluid is a hydraulic fluid serving as the drive fluid of a hydraulic motor (3) of the pump (2).
  19. Marking machine according to any one of the claims 10 to 13, characterized in that it comprises at least one pressure sensor detecting the spray pressure or the pressure of the other fluid depending on the spray pressure, said sensor being connected with an input of an electric or electronic control unit, and that the control unit is connected with an electric or electronic adjusting device which changes - depending on the pressure - the position of the holder (8) in relation to the surface (14) to be marked.
