Claims (14)

  1. Dishwasher comprising at least one washing compartment (2) having at least one sidewall (6), a height-adjustable basket which can be at least partially withdrawn from the washing compartment (2), a spray arm (3), a feed pipe (4) for the spray arm (3), said feed pipe (4) being disposed on the basket, and a coupling device (8) comprising a first part-coupling (9) disposed on the sidewall (6) and having first openings (14), and a second part-coupling (10) which can be connected to the feed pipe (4) and has a second opening (20) which, depending on the height adjustment of the basket, cooperates with one of the first openings (14) of the first part-coupling (9) such that during operation of the dishwasher (1) the washing liquor passes through the first opening (14) cooperating with the second opening (20) and through the second opening (20) and flows via the feed pipe (4) to the spray arm (3), characterised in that the first part-coupling (9) has a number N of first openings (14) arranged vertically one above the other from which a washing liquor under pressure can be discharged during operation of the dishwasher (1), and the second part-coupling (10) is embodied in such a way that it closes the remaining first openings (14) that are not cooperating with the second opening (20).
  2. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterised in that the feed pipe (4) is disposed at least approximately horizontally on the dishwasher basket and/or the second part-coupling (10) is embodied in such a way that the washing liquor flows directly into the feed pipe (4) through the second opening (20).
  3. Dishwasher according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the first part-coupling (9) has substantially uniform first connection pieces (11-13), each of which encompasses one of the first openings (14), and the second opening (20) of the second part-coupling (10) is embodied in such a way that the first connection pieces (11-13) can be inserted into the second opening (20).
  4. Dishwasher according to claim 3, characterised in that the second opening (20) has a conical shape narrowing towards the interior of the second part-coupling (10), the first connection pieces (11-13) have a conical shape narrowing towards the exterior of the first part-coupling (9), the first connection pieces (11-13) have seals which at least partially surround the exterior of the first connection pieces (11-13) and/or above and below the second opening (20) the second part-coupling (10) has (N-1) recesses into which the remaining first connection pieces (11-13) that are not cooperating with the second opening (20) can be inserted in order to close their first openings (14).
  5. Dishwasher according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the second part-coupling (10) has a second connection piece (17) which encompasses the second opening (20), and the first openings (14) of the first part-coupling (9) are embodied in such a way that the second connection piece 17 can be inserted into the first openings (14).
  6. Dishwasher according to claim 5, characterised in that the first openings (14) have a conical shape narrowing towards the interior of the first part-coupling (9), the second connection piece (17) has a conical shape narrowing towards the exterior of the second part-coupling (10) and/or the second connection piece (17) has a seal (22) which at least partially surrounds the exterior of the second connection piece (17).
  7. Dishwasher according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that above and below the second connection piece (17) the second part-coupling (10) has (N-1) plugs which can be inserted into the remaining first openings (14) that are not cooperating with the second opening (20) of the second connection piece (17) in order to close said openings.
  8. Dishwasher according to claim 7, characterised in that the plugs have a conical shape narrowing towards the exterior of the second part-coupling (10) and/or in which the plugs have seals which at least partially surround the exterior of the plugs.
  9. Dishwasher according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that above and below the second connection piece (17) the second part-coupling (10) has (N-1) third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19) which substantially correspond to the second connection piece (17) and third openings (20) corresponding to the second opening (20), each of which is closed by means of a removable or non-removable closing device (21), and the third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19) can be inserted into the remaining first openings (14) that are not cooperating with the second opening (20) of the second connection piece (17) in order to close said openings.
  10. Dishwasher according to claim 9, characterised in that the third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19) have a conical shape narrowing towards the exterior of the second part-coupling (10), the third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19) have seals (22) which at least partially surround the exterior of the third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19), and/or the closing devices (21) of the third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19) have a conical shape narrowing towards the exterior of the second part-coupling (10).
  11. Dishwasher according to one of claims 5 to 10, characterised in that the first part-coupling (9) has substantially uniform first connection pieces (11-13), each of which encompasses one of the first openings (14).
  12. Dishwasher according to claim 11, characterised in that the first part-coupling (9) has three first connection pieces (11-13) and the second part-coupling (10) has two plugs in each case arranged above and below the second connection piece (17) or third connection pieces (15, 16, 18, 19).
  13. Dishwasher according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the second part-coupling (10) and the feed pipe (4) are embodied as a single piece.
  14. Dishwasher according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that a supply pipe (7) disposed on the sidewall (6) is provided for the washing liquor, to which supply pipe (7) the first part-coupling (9) is connected or which is embodied as a single piece with the first part-coupling (9).
