Abstract

The invention relates to a dishwasher with a height-adjustable crockery basket, on which an inlet pipe for a spray arm is arranged.

Such a dishwashing machine is e.g. in EP 0 796 587 A2. On the rear wall of the washing container of this dishwasher, a supply line is fixed, with which the horizontally attached to a height-adjustable dish rack of the dishwasher inlet pipe for a spray arm can be connected by means of a coupling. The supply line has an open connection piece protruding in the direction of the inlet pipe and two closed blind pieces projecting in the direction of the inlet pipe. The coupling comprises two openings arranged one above the other, in each of which the connecting piece and one of the blind stubs projects. Depending on the height adjustment of the dish rack, the connection piece either protrudes into one or the other opening of the coupling. However, the rerouting of the rinsing liquor via the housing of the coupling is hydraulically unfavorable.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a dishwasher with a height-adjustable crockery basket, on which an inlet pipe for a spray arm is arranged, which provides a prerequisite for improved hydraulic guidance of the feed line originating rinse water into the inlet pipe.

The object of the invention is achieved by a dishwasher, comprising a rinsing container with at least one side wall, a crockery basket which can be pulled out of the rinsing container and height-adjustable, a spray arm, an inlet pipe for the spray arm arranged on the crockery basket, and a coupling device with a first part-coupling and a second sub-coupling, wherein the first sub-coupling is arranged on the side wall and has a number N of superimposed first openings, from which in the operation of the dishwasher a below Pressurized rinsing liquor can emerge, the second sub-coupling is connected to the inlet pipe and having a second opening, which cooperates with one of the first openings of the first sub-coupling depending on the height adjustment of the dish rack, so that the rinsing liquor through the cooperating with the second opening first opening and passes through the second opening during operation of the dishwasher and flows via the inlet pipe to the spray arm, and the second partial coupling is designed such that it closes the remaining, not cooperating with the second opening first openings.

The dishwashing machine according to the invention has the coupling device, by means of which the inlet pipe for the spray arm, which in particular is arranged horizontally on the height-adjustable dish rack, is supplied with the washing liquor during operation of the dishwashing machine. The coupling device has the first partial coupling arranged on the side wall of the washing container, which in turn is provided with the first openings. The pressurized flushing solution can potentially escape through the first openings. The side wall may in particular be the rear wall of the washing compartment.

The second sub-coupling of the coupling device is connected to the inlet pipe and has the second opening. Depending on the height adjustment of the dish rack, the second opening cooperates with one of the first opening, so that the washing liquor can pass through this first opening and through the second opening into the inlet pipe. Thus, the rinsing fluid always flows through the second opening of the second part of the coupling into the inlet pipe.
