Description

The present invention relates to a shower, in particular kitchen shower, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

A hand shower of this kind is in the document EP-1 462 051A1 disclosed.

The shower head is separably connected to the holding part.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a shower in which feed water is directed into the washbasin even when the shower head is disconnected.

This object is achieved with a shower, which has the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the shower head and the holding part are fastened to one another with a coupling. As a result of Using a coupling, the holding part and the shower head are non-destructively separable from each other; To disconnect neither the holding part nor the shower head are to be dismantled.

Accordingly trained holding parts and shower heads can thus be combined arbitrarily. In particular, it is possible to connect a shower head of a type with differently shaped holding parts or a holding part of a type with differently designed shower heads; the only condition is that the coupling and thus the corresponding connection geometries of the holding part and the shower head are adapted to each other.

Preferably, the clutch is switchable. Only by switching the clutch, the holding part and the shower head are separable. If the clutch is not switched, the connection is firm.

Further preferred embodiments of the inventive shower are given in the further dependent claims.

The in the Fig. 1 Shower 10 shown, it is in the present case as an example to a kitchen shower, has a serving as a handle in the present case holding part 12 and a shower head 14 removably arranged thereon. The holding part housing 18 extending in the direction of its longitudinal axis 16 preferably has a substantially rectangular cross-section, wherein the edges running in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 are rounded. It is also another, in particular round cross-section possible. A supply-side front side 20 of the holding part housing 18 is penetrated by a feed water connection piece 22 of a water guide 24 which is otherwise arranged in the interior of the hollow holding part housing 18. The tubular feed water connection piece 22 has an internal thread 26 for connecting a feedwater line 28, which, as is apparent Fig. 3 in the present example by a flexible hose - as is well known - is formed. Next, the feedwater connection pipe 22 is provided with an external thread 30, which serves to attach a protective sleeve 32; Fig. 3 , Furthermore, the feedwater connection piece 22 has a radially outwardly open longitudinal groove 34 for an electrical feed line 36, preferably in the form of a two-wire strand on; compare Fig. 3 , The electrical supply line 36 extends from a power supply through the Water supply line 28, between the outer metal jacket and inner water supply hose, and exits at a connection part 38 of the feedwater pipe 28 with a cooperating with the internal thread 26 external thread 38 'from the feedwater pipe 28.

On the upper side of the holding part 12, which is remote from the water outlet side 52 of the shower head 14, the holding part housing 18 is provided with a passage which is closed by a flexible membrane 40 for protection against ingress of water into the interior of the holding part housing 18. These and the passage serve to actuate a switch 42, which in connection with Fig. 3 is further described.

The shower head 14 has an outer housing 44 with an outer, preferably circular cylindrical jacket wall 46. The thus determined axis 48 of the shower head 14 extends at right angles to the longitudinal axis 16 of the holding part 12 and cuts them. The holding part housing 18 rests with its the shower head 14 facing the front side 50 on the casing wall 46 and is consequently shaped according to the casing wall 46 in the contact section. There are also other cylindrical shapes of the jacket wall 46, for example, with a square cross-section, conceivable. It is also possible that the axis 48 and the longitudinal axis 16 intersect at an acute or obtuse angle.

The shower head 14 further has the water outlet side 52, which is at the bottom with respect to the above-mentioned upper side of the holding part. Further, the shower head 14 on the water outlet side 52 opposite top with a head-like actuator 54th Mistake. This is rotatable both about the axis 48 and in the direction of the axis 48 from a starting position 56, as in Fig. 1 is shown on the outer housing 44 in a in the 10 and 11 shown - depressed - stroke position 58 translationally movable. The axis 48 is thus the axis of rotation.

Fig. 2 shows the shower 10 in a bottom view, wherein for the same parts the same reference numerals as in Fig. 1 are used. The holding part housing 18 has on the bottom, which is on the same side as the water outlet side 52 of the shower head 14, approximately longitudinally on a passage in which an actuating head 60 of a locking lever 62 is arranged; compare Fig. 3 , Next, the holding part housing 18, also on the underside, between the actuating head 60 and the front side 50, with which the holding part 12 abuts against the jacket wall 46, a light passage opening 64, in which a transparent window member 66 is inserted. Next is in Fig. 2 the longitudinal groove 34 for the electrical supply line 36 in the region of the feedwater connection piece 22 clearly visible.

The shower head 14 has on its water outlet side 52 in the middle a first water outlet 68 with a well-known jet regulator 70. This creates a "soft" spray jet.

A second water outlet 72 is formed by two rings 74, 74 'of nozzle openings 76 extending to the axis 48 and around the central first water outlet 68. These serve to produce a shower spray in the form of a "sieve jet". Further, the water outlet side 52 has a third water outlet 78 in the form of a row of further nozzle openings 80, which is located on the side facing away from the holding part 12 and extending with respect to the axis 48 over an angular range of about 50 °. This row of closely spaced further nozzle orifices 80 serves to produce a shower jet in the form of a "spatula jet".

Fig. 3 shows the shower 10 in longitudinal section with mutually coupled holding part 12 and shower head 14. The internal structure of the holding part 12 is in conjunction with Fig. 4 and later the internal structure of the shower head 14 in conjunction with Fig. 5 ff described.

The water guide 24 has in the interior of the holding part housing 18, to the feed water connection piece 22 then, a central, coaxial to the longitudinal axis 16 tubular water guide part 82, which ends in a, based on the length of the holding part housing 18, small distance to the front side 50. For axial as well as radial support and attachment of the water guide 24 in the holding part housing 18, the feedwater connection pipe 22 on a radially projecting stop rib 84 which rests on the inside of the holding part housing 18 on the food side front 20, and stands by the water guide member 82, wherein the front side 50th facing the end, a support flange 86 from which circumferentially abuts the inside of the holding part housing 18 and is connected thereto, for example by gluing or ultrasonic welding, at the same time the penetration of protection or water in the cavity between the water guide 24 and the holding part housing 18 prevent.

One of the front side 50 and thus the shower head 14 facing end portion of the water guide member 82 is formed as a joining region 88 for receiving a projecting from the outer housing 44 of the shower head 14 in the radial direction connecting piece 90. In the mounted state, the connecting piece 50 is joined to the water guide 24 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 by engaging in the joining region 88. Near the upstream end of the joining region 88 in the flow direction S, the water guide part 82 has on the underside a pivot bearing 92 for the locking lever 62. At the end of an arm of this locking lever 62 of the actuating head 60 and at the end of the other arm with respect to the longitudinal axis 16 radially inwardly projecting locking claw 94 is formed. Between the actuating head 60 and the water guide member 82, a compression spring 96 acts to bias the locking lever 62 in the locking position.

The connecting piece 90 of the shower head 14 has on its underside on a radially outwardly exposed locking jaw 98, which is engaged behind in the assembled state by the locking claw 94 to hold the shower head 14 on the holding part 12. To separate the shower head 14 from the holding part 12 thus the actuating head 60 is to press against the force of the compression spring 96 in the radial direction against the interior, whereby the locking claw 94, the locking jaw 98 releases and the shower head 14 are pulled away in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 of the holding part 12 can. The locking jaw 98 engages in a, in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 extending, groove-like extension of the water guide 24 in the joining region 88, whereby the rotational position of the shower head 14 is defined with respect to the holding part 12.

The joining region 88, the locking lever 62 and the connecting piece 90 with the locking jaw 98 form a coupling 100, in the present case a switchable coupling, by means of which the holding part 12 and the shower head 14 are releasably secured to each other. At this point it should be mentioned that different types of coupling can be used.

Dieser verhindert den Wasseraustritt zwischen dem Wasserführungsteil 82 und dem Hohlkolben 102.Inside the water guide part 82 is a hollow piston 102, at the upstream end of which a piston spring 104 designed as a compression spring is supported, which at the other end is supported on an inner support shoulder 106 of the water guide part 82. Between the water guide part 82 and the hollow piston 102 acts as a O-ring formed sealing ring 108, which is arranged in a corresponding groove in the upstream end region of the hollow piston 102. This prevents the water outlet between the water guide member 82 and the hollow piston 102nd

From the hollow piston 102 is in the radial direction outwardly from a guide cam 110 from which engages in a radially inwardly open and in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 extending guide groove 112 of the water guide member 82. As a result, the rotational position of the hollow piston 102 is defined and the distance by which the hollow piston 102 can move in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16 is limited.

The downstream free end portion 114 of the hollow piston 102 is angled in the direction towards the bottom to direct 114 when flowing shower head 114 any flowing feed water in the sink. For completeness, it should be mentioned that the hollow piston 102 at the water outlet end of a filter screen 116th having. This forms a water outlet and prevents uncoupled shower head 14, the penetration of foreign bodies in the water flow 24th

At a distance to its water outlet end, the hollow piston 102 has a radially outwardly open circumferential groove in which an O-ring 118 is arranged. Upstream of this O-ring 118, the hollow piston further has a circumferential stop shoulder 120. Like this one Fig. 4 can be removed, the hollow piston 102 under the action of the piston spring 104 and defined by abutment of the guide cam 102 at the downstream end of the guide groove 112 on the front side 50 of the holding part housing 18, when the shower head 14 is removed from the holding part 12. When inserting the connecting piece 90 of the shower head 14 in the water guide member 82, the connecting piece 90 surrounds the hollow piston 102 and pushes it, against the force of the piston spring 104, by striking with its free end to the Stop shoulder 120 in the joining region 88 of the water guide member 82 and thus in the holder housing 18, as this Fig. 3 shows. In the course of this movement, the locking lever 62 is pivoted by the action of the locking jaw 98 on an inclined surface of the latching claw 94, against the force of the compression spring 96 until it pivots back automatically with completely inserted connection piece 90 and the associated release by the locking jaw 98 in the locking position can. The O-ring 118 comes when inserting the connecting piece 90 on the inner wall to the plant to prevent water leakage between the hollow piston 102 and the connecting piece 90.

Seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16, a turbine wheel 122 is freely rotatably mounted about the longitudinal axis 16 between the feedwater connection piece 22 and the support shoulder 106. For its storage, on the one hand, the water guide part 82 has a radially inwardly projecting bearing rib 124 and on the other hand inserted into the water guide 24, from the side of the feed water connection piece 22 ago, a cylindrical bearing body 125 with axial water passages and snapped.

When running feed water, the turbine wheel 122 is rotated, which is detected by a sensor 126. This is arranged in a radially outwardly open recess of the water guide part 82, for example, fastened by means of potting or gluing, and forms together with the turbine wheel 122, a flow sensor 126 ', the signal of an electronic control circuit 128 is supplied. This is located on a circuit board 130, which is received by a circumferential from the water guide member 82 in the direction of above, circumferential collar 132. This is shaped according to the rectangular board 130, as is the Fig. 9 is removable. Next, the switch 42 is disposed on the circuit board 130. Preferably, the space framed by the collar 132 is poured by means of a casting compound to protect the electronic control circuit 128 against water and other environmental influences. In order not to endanger the functionality of the switch 42, this is preferably covered with a hat-shaped, elastic cover 134.

Auch dieser gibt sein Ausgangssignal an die elektronische Steuerschaltung 128 ab.Further, in the water guide member 82, seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis 16, between the support shoulder 106 and the hollow piston 102, a temperature sensor 136 used to detect the temperature of the feedwater. This also outputs its output signal to the electronic control circuit 128.

The electronic control circuit 128 feeds a light source 138 on the one hand, see Fig. 6 for illuminating the shower head 14 and on the other hand a further light source 140 at the light passage opening 64 for illuminating the environment, in particular in the effective range of the shower jets, Fig. 4 , For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the electrical feed line 36 coming from the longitudinal groove 34 is guided in the cavity between the holding part housing 18 and the water guide 24 for feeding the electronic control circuit 128 to the circuit board 130.

Under outer housing 44 in connection with the shower head 14 is a housing to understand, which delimits the shower head 14 from the environment and thus not in the interior of another housing, for example, the holding part 12, is arranged.

The shower head 14 has a support body 142, consisting of a hollow cylindrical, coaxial to the axis 48 inner wall 144 and a concentric, also hollow cylindrical outer wall 146, wherein the inner wall 144 to the outer wall 146 connecting the intermediate bottom 148, the space between the inner wall 144 and the Outer wall 146 in one of the water outlet side 52 facing lower first chamber 150 and the actuating element 54 facing the upper second chamber 152 divided, see also Fig. 5 to 11 , Connecting piece 90 on the side forms the intermediate bottom 148 a coaxial with the longitudinal axis 16, outwardly open receiving sleeve 154, in In the receiving sleeve 154 of the tubular connection piece 90 is inserted with its this side end, wherein it engages behind the undercuts with two diametrically opposite and outwardly projecting snap lugs 158 and thus in a defined rotational position on the support body 142nd is attached. In the flow direction S downstream, then to the snap lugs 158, the connecting piece 90 has a receiving groove with an O-ring 160 disposed therein to prevent the escape of water between the support body 142 and the connecting piece 90. The locking jaw 98 of the connecting piece 90 is in the direction towards the bottom, ie in the direction of the water outlet side 52, above.

Central to the receiving sleeve 154 formed by the intermediate bottom 148, an inflow passage 162 is integrally formed on the inner wall 144.

In the circumferentially bounded by the inner wall 144 space a dish-like drainage member 164 is rotatably inserted, the three circumferentially distributed passages form a housing-fixed first discharge passage 166, see FIGS. 7 and 8 , The drainage member 164 is, as viewed in the direction of the axis 48, arranged with respect to the inflow passage 162 on the water outlet side 52 facing side.

With respect to the longitudinal axis 16 offset by, for example, 60 °, the intermediate bottom 148 has two through openings to connect two diametrically opposite inlet channels 168 with the first chamber 150; see in particular Fig. 6 to 10 , These inflow channels 168 are by pocket-like, on the inner wall 144 at the radially outer side molded walls 170 separated from the second chamber 152. At its upper end, remote from the water outlet side 52, of the inflow passages 168, two circumferentially juxtaposed passages extend through the inner wall 144, forming a second outflow passage 172; see in particular Fig. 9 , With respect to this, for example, offset by an angle of 45 ° and, viewed in the circumferential direction, outside the walls 170, the inner wall 144, again diametrically opposite, in pairs circumferentially adjacent further passages, which form a third drain passage 174 and into the second chamber 152 lead. The second and third outflow passages 172, 174 are located at the same level, viewed in the direction of the axis 48, and at a distance from the inlet passage 162, on the side facing away from the water outlet side 52 and facing the actuating element 54.

The second chamber 152 is closed by an annular disc-shaped cover 176 on the side facing the actuating element 54, Fig. 5 , It runs at the upper end of the inner wall 144 between the latter and the outer wall 146 and is fastened in a watertight manner, for example, by bonding to these two walls 144, 146 in a defined rotational position. The defined rotational position can be predetermined, for example, by a groove on the support body 142 and a protruding nose of the cover 176 engaging therein.

In the circumferentially bounded by the inner wall 144 space a substantially cylindrical control element 178 is further used, which is relative to the Outflow element 164, in the direction of the axis 48, on the inflow passage 162 side facing. It is provided with a connection channel 180, the inlet opening 182 of which is permanently connected to the inflow passage 162. For this purpose, the control element 178 has a circumferential flow groove 184 which is open in the radial direction and which communicates with the inflow passage 162 irrespective of the rotational position of the control element 178 and at whose groove bottom the inlet opening 182 is located. Viewed in the direction of the axis 48 on both sides of the flow groove 184, the control member 178 each have a circumferential sealing groove 192, in each of which on the other hand with the inner wall 144 cooperating Quadring 194 is used to prevent leakage of water.

The connection channel 180 has an inflow section 196, which extends in the radial direction relative to the axis 48, with the inlet opening 182. From this branch, coaxial with the axis 48, toward the water outlet side 52, a first outflow passage 166 leading to the first outflow passage 166, and in the opposite direction a second outflow section 202 leading to a control passage 200.

The webs 204 forming the first outflow passage 166, for example three circumferentially distributed and extending in the radial direction, see also FIGS. 7 and 8 , Separate passages are formed on a disc-shaped portion of the drainage member 164, from which portion radially outward, toward the water outlet side 52, a coaxial to the axis 48 section 206 and to this then a radial flange portion 208 connects. The coaxial section 206 has on its radially outer side a circumferential groove 210 in which a further quad ring 212 is arranged, which cooperates radially outwardly with the control element 178, which engages in the limited by the drainage member 164 and the inner wall 144, ring-like space and with his this side end face on the flange portion 208 slidably abuts and this other hand, fixed to the housing to a shoulder of the inner wall 144 holds in abutment.

At the disk-like portion of the drainage member 164 is flat on a control disk 214, at which distributed in the circumferential direction, another control passage 216 forming, through openings are formed. The number of these openings coincides with the number of openings forming the first drainage passage 166, and they are separated by further lands 204 '. These are preferably narrower than the webs 204. Radially outward, three driving cams 218 are distributed circumferentially from the control disk 214, in the direction towards the top on the side facing away from the discharge element 164, FIGS. 7 and 8 - Which engage in corresponding, running in the axial direction Mitnahmeuten the control 178 torque resistant. In the axial position, the control disk 214 is held on the one hand by the drainage element 164 and on the other hand by a shoulder formed on the control element 178, see in particular Fig. 5 , The control disk 214 is thus arranged at the downstream end of the first outflow portion 198.

The second outflow section 202 is delimited at its downstream end facing the actuating element 54 by a transverse wall 220 of the control element 178, wherein in each case two passages, which form the control passage 200, are formed by the wall section of the control element 178 which peripherally delimits the second outflow section 202, diametrically opposite to the axis 48. These passages, viewed in the direction of the axis 48, are arranged at the same height as the second and third outflow passages 172, 174 and placed next to each other in the circumferential direction such that they lie in the one rotational position of the control element 178 with the openings of the second outflow passage 172 and in FIG the other rotational position of the control 178 are aligned with those of the third drain passage 174, Fig. 9 , In each of the passages of the control passage 200, a sealing sleeve 222 is circumferentially sealingly inserted but displaceable in the radial direction. In the interior of each sealing sleeve 222 is a compression spring 224, which is radially inwardly on the control element 178 and radially outwardly supported on a shoulder of the sealing sleeve 222 to keep them in sliding, but sealing engagement with the inner wall 144 of the support body 142.

The transverse wall 220 is provided on its radially outer side with a circumferential groove, in which a third quadring 226 is inserted, which cooperates radially outwardly with the inner wall 144, close to its upper end. On the one hand, this third quadring 226 prevents the escape of any leakage water between the support body 142 and the control element 178 in the direction of the actuating element 54 and, on the other hand, the penetration of dirt particles between the inner wall 144 and the control element 178.

In the area of the branch 227 of the connection channel 180 From the inflow section 196 into the first and second outflow sections 198, 202, the control element 178 has a valve arrangement 228. This has two in the direction of the axis 48 in a spaced-apart valve seats 230 and a valve member 232 arranged between them. The valve seat 230 assigned to the first outflow section 198 is designed as an annular seat 230 ', which is formed on the control disk 214 and extends in the radial direction on the outside around the openings forming the control passage 216. The valve seat 230 assigned to the second outflow section 202 is formed as a further ring seat 230 "opposite the ring seat 230 ', which is formed directly on the control element 178. The valve element 232 arranged between the two ring seats 230' and 230" is designed as a valve plate 232 '. This has a molded on one to the axis 48 actuating shaft 234 molded plate portion 236, on which radially outside a ring seal 238 sits, which on the one hand with the ring seat 230 'and on the other hand with the ring seat 230'', in dependence on the stroke position of the operating shaft 234, cooperates sealingly.

The plate portion 236 has on its the control disk 214 side facing a blind hole-like central recess in which a spring formed as a compression spring 240 is supported. This engages in a central cup part 242 of the control disk 214 and is supported on this side at the bottom of the cup part 242. The cup portion 242 engages with its open end portion in the recess of the plate portion 236 and passes through with its bottom end portion a central opening of the drainage member 164. The first Outflow passage 166 and the further control passage 216 are arranged with respect to this cup portion 242 in the radial direction outside.

The operating shaft 234 passes through the transverse wall 220 of the control element 178 and carries at its free, the plate portion 236 opposite end of the actuator 54. To prevent the water leakage from the second outflow portion 202 along the operating shaft 234 to the environment, this is of an annular, im Cross-section V-shaped lip seal 244 embraced, wherein the radially inner lip with the operating shaft 234 and the radially outer lip cooperates with the transverse wall 220. The lip seal 244 is arranged in a hollow-cylindrical, in the direction of the actuating element 54 projecting stub 245 of the transverse wall 220 and held there by means of a snap ring. From the stub 245 are parallel to the axis 48 in the direction of the actuating member 54 from 24 centering tongues, which bear peripherally on a central centering stub 248 of the actuator 54.

With respect to the stub 245 radially outward, the transverse wall 220 a, in the direction of the actuating element 54 projecting driving ring 250, at its free end, on diametrically opposite sides, each a driving cam in the radial direction protrudes outwardly. These driving cams engage in corresponding recesses on a driving ring 250 'of the actuating element 54, on the one hand to form a rotationally fixed connection between the actuating element 54 and the control element 178 and on the other hand to secure the actuating element 54 in the axial direction, wherein the lifting movement of the Actuator 54 is ensured relative to the control element 178.

From the driving ring 250 are, diametrically opposite and in the radial direction to the outside, stop projections 252 from which engage in the lid 176 integrally formed guide grooves 253, on the one hand circumferentially counter-stops for the stop projections 252 form and on the other hand the control element 178 in the direction of the axis 48 verschiebefest keep it in position. For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the guide grooves 253 allow a rotational movement of the control element 278 between the rotational positions corresponding to the second and third outflow passages 172, 174, respectively, but prevent further rotation.

The inner wall 144, with its portion downstream with respect to the first outflow passage 166, surrounds the central first water outlet 68 which is flow-connected to the first outflow passage 166 in an obstacle-free manner and is preferably equipped with the jet regulator 70. Jet regulators of this type are well known, are marketed for example by the company Neoperl under the brand name "Perlator" and have the task to mix the water with air and thus to ensure a smooth, soft, expanded shower spray.

On the water outlet side 52, an annular water outlet cover 260 is placed on the support body 142, which leaves the central first water outlet 68 free, but the first chamber 150 closes. At him the two rings 74, 74 'nozzle openings 76 of the second water outlet 72 are formed. In a preferred manner the passages forming the nozzle openings and is an exposed area around them with soft elastic material, such as rubber, lined to counteract in particular the calcification.

The water outlet cover 260 has with respect to the nozzle openings 76 radially outwardly projecting towards the interior of the first chamber 150 cylinder wall 262, which has in the vicinity of the free end radially outward equipped with an O-ring 264 groove to the leakage of water from the first chamber 150 between the water outlet cover 260 and the outer wall 146 therethrough. Further, the cylinder wall 262, between the O-ring 264 and the water outlet side 52, a radially outwardly open further circumferential groove, with which, during installation of the water outlet cover 260 by inserting the cylinder wall 262 in the first chamber 150, on the Outer wall 146 formed snap lugs 268 engage to attach the water outlet cover 260. Radially inside, the water outlet cover 260 has a further cylinder wall 262 ', which engages in the space forming the first water outlet 68 and to which the jet regulator 70 is fastened by means of a threaded connection. Further cooperates with this further cylinder wall 262 'a sealing ring 264', which is arranged in a corresponding sealing groove of the inner wall 144 and prevents the passage of water from the first water outlet 68 into the first chamber 150 and vice versa.

On the side facing away from the connecting piece 90, the outer wall 146 has a recess 272, which above the intermediate bottom 148 with the second chamber 152 is connected and extends in the direction of the water outlet side 52 to a radially outwardly projecting bead 274 of the outer wall 146. At this, the third water outlet 78 forming further nozzle openings 80 are formed, wherein these are preferably coated with a rubber-like material. The recess 272 is closed with a cover element 276 such that it delimits a flow gap 278 leading from the second chamber 152 to the third water outlet 78 between itself and the outer wall 146.

On the radially outer side of the outer wall 146 of the support body 142, a light guide 280 is arranged, which, viewed in the direction of the axis 48, about half the height of the outer wall 146 and approximately symmetrical to the connection piece 90 and circumferentially around the support body 142 around extends to a distance to the connecting piece 90, wherein the mutually facing and with respect to the longitudinal center plane of the shower 10 opposite end faces 282 of the light guide 280 form Lichteinkopplungsflächen; please refer Fig. 6 , From the one end face 282 around the support body 142 around to the opposite end face 182, the light guide 280 is covered by a soft elastic, preferably rubbery, opaque outer shell 284, which viewed in the direction of the axis 48 above and below the light guide 280 and the support body 142 completely covered. This outer jacket 284 forms the outer surface of the outer housing 44 of the shower head 14. When hooked to holding part 12 shower head 14 is the front side 50 of the holding part housing 18 with its entire circumference on the outer shell 284. The outer sheath 284 forms - due to its rubber-elastic properties - a seal.

Like this Fig. 6 to 9 can be removed, the support flange 86, seen in plan view, on both sides of the water guide 24 per a through hole, in each of which a cup-shaped, dimensionally stable sleeve 286 is inserted from translucent material, the open front toward the interior of the holding part housing 18 and the closed end face towards the shower head 14 show. Preferably, the cross section of the through-hole is rectangular and the outer cross-section of the sleeve 286 is correspondingly rectangular. In each of the sleeve 286 is a printed circuit board 288 with an arranged thereon, the light source 138 forming LED 290. The beam direction of these two LEDs 290 is directed away from each other, so - when coupled to the holding part 12 shower head 14 - the emitted light on the end faces 282nd is coupled into the light guide 280. With activated LED's 290 thus the light guide 280 is illuminated, which is easily visible from the outside through the opaque outer sheath 284 therethrough. For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the LEDs 290 are driven by the electronic control circuit 128.

In starting position 56 is, as in the Fig. 3 and 5 shown, the valve member 232 due to the force of the return spring 240 at the top, the second outflow portion 202 associated valve seat 230 in Appendix. As a result, the connecting piece 90 is in fluid communication with the first discharge passage 166 via the inflow passage 162 and the first outflow portion 198. At the same time is the tax passage 200 and thus the second and third outflow passage 172, 174 separated from the inlet passage 162 fluidly. Feed water fed through the feedwater line 28 flows through the water guide 24, the hollow piston 102 and the connecting piece 90 to the first water outlet 68, where a soft spray jet is produced by means of the jet regulator 70. If the actuator 54 is in a first rotational position, as is the case with the Fig. 8 can be removed, the passages of the first discharge passage 166 only partially in overlap with the passages of the further control passage 216 of the control disk 214. The webs 204 'cover the first discharge passage 166 partially from. In this position, the water flow is reduced, for example, limited to 6 liters per minute, at usual feed water pressure of 3 bar.

Is starting from this first rotational position, the actuating element 54, seen in plan view in the counterclockwise direction, rotated in the second rotational position, see Fig. 7 , the control passage 216 of the control disk 214 with the second discharge passage 166 in complete overlap, so that the further webs 204 'of the control disk 214 are aligned with the webs 204, whereby the maximum flow area is free and a water flow of, for example, 12 liters per minute. In starting position 56 is thus, by turning the actuating element 54, the amount of water selectable, without requiring the control cartridge must be pressed, which releases the feed water and controls its temperature.

For completeness, it should be mentioned that above the valve member 232, the difference between the pressure of Water in the shower head 14 and the surrounding area is applied and thus the valve member 232 is supported by this pressure with greater force against the relevant valve seat 230 pressed.

Does not flow feed water and is the actuator 54, starting from in the Fig. 3 and 5 shown starting position 56, toward bottom, on the outer housing 44 to, in the in the 10 and 11 shown stroke position 58 moves and released again, it returns automatically due to the action of the return spring 240 back to the starting position 56. However, if the actuator 54 is moved to the stroke position 58 when feed water is running, or the actuator 54 is released only after feed water has been turned on, it remains against the force of the return spring 240 due to the pressure across the valve member 232 applied pressure difference in abutment at the lower valve seat 230, which is associated with the first outflow section 202. In this position, therefore, the first outflow passage 166 is separated from the inflow passage 162, while the latter is in flow communication with the control passage 200 via the second outflow section 202. Is this the actuator 54 in his in the Fig. 10 shown first rotational position, the control passage 200 is aligned with the second outflow passage 172, whereby the feed water passes exclusively into the first chamber 150, whereby at the second water outlet 72 an effervescent spray is generated in the form of a sieve jet.

Starting from this position, the actuating element 54, seen in plan view by 45 ° to the left, in the in the Fig. 9 and 11 shown rotated position, so aligned the control passage 200 with the third drain passage 174, whereby the feed water passes exclusively into the second chamber 152 and exits therefrom through the third water outlet 78, producing a spray jet in the form of a spatula jet.

Further, by operating the pressure switch 42 covered with the membrane 40, the surroundings, in particular the object to be washed, can be illuminated.

Further, running feed water causes the turbine wheel 122 to rotate, which is detected by the sensor 126 and reported to the electronic control circuit 128. Due to this signal, the electronic control circuit 128 feeds the LEDs 290 of the light source 138, so that it is also visually recognizable from the outside on the shower head 14 that feed water flows.

In a preferred embodiment, which is shown in the figures, the holding part 12 is equipped with a temperature sensor 136. Its output signal is supplied to the electronic control circuit 128, which controls the LED's 290 of the light source 138 according to the measured water temperature, so that they change the color depending on the water temperature, for example, blue for cold water in red for hot water. When the feed water flow is shut off, the turbine wheel 122 automatically stops rotating, which is detected by the electronic control circuit 128 via the sensor 126, so that it turns off the light source 138.

Andernends stützt sich die Ventilfeder 300, analog der Kolbenfeder 104, an der Stützschulter 106 ab.The in the Fig. 12 and 13 shown embodiment of the inventive shower has instead of the hollow piston 102 a closing valve 292 to the outflow of To prevent feed water from the holding part 12 with disconnected shower head 14. Upstream of the joining region 88 are integrally formed on the water guide part 82, in the radial direction against inwardly projecting, circumferential beads 294, which receive a sealing ring 296 between them. Upstream of this sealing ring 296 is a, the closing valve member forming ball 298 is arranged, which is acted upon by means of a valve spring designed as a compression spring 300 with a closing force in the direction against the sealing ring 296. At the other end, the valve spring 300, analogous to the piston spring 104, is supported on the support shoulder 106.

In the free end region of the connection piece 90, a sleeve-shaped hold-open element 302 is threaded. This is, against the flow direction S, via the connecting piece 90 and holds, when coupled to the holding part 12 shower head 14, the closing valve 292 in the open position. Towards the ball 298, the end portion of the hold-open element 302 is conically tapered and provided with radial slots open to the ball 298 in order to keep a sufficient flow cross-section between the sealing ring 296 and the ball 298. For the sake of completeness it should be mentioned that between the hold-open element 302 and the connecting piece 90, downstream of the thread of the hold-open element 302, an O-ring is arranged for sealing. Further acts in the joining region 88, upstream of the locking jaw 98, between the connecting piece 90 and the water guide member 82, a further sealing ring to prevent the escape of water between these two parts into the interior of the holding part housing 18 and the environment.

If the shower head 14 is disconnected from the holding part 12 by releasing the coupling 100 and if the feed water is mistakenly not switched off, the closing valve 292 closes (FIG. Fig. 13 ) and thus prevents the escape of feed water to the environment. When attaching the shower head 14 on the holding part 12, the closing valve 292 is automatically opened ( Fig. 12 ), preferably after the spud 90 and the water guide member 82 are in sealing engagement.

Of course, it is also possible to connect a differently shaped shower head 14 and a holding part 12 via a coupling 100 releasably to each other. It could be a differently designed shower head of a kitchen shower or a shower head for a shower or a bath. In the embodiments shown, the holding part 12 forms a handle of a pull-out nozzle. However, it is also conceivable to form the holding part 12 as an outflow pipe, for example pivotally mounted on a fitting base, on which the shower head 14 is arranged uncoupling.

Further, it is also possible to provide the shower head 14 with its Umstellmöglichkeiten and / or its jacket lighting in a shower, in which the shower head 14 is not detachably secured by the holding part 12 by means of a coupling.

If the shower is not equipped with lighting and sensors and not with an electronic control, no electrical supply line 36 is needed. In this case, the external thread 30 and the protective sleeve 32 of the attachment of the feedwater pipe 28 serve.
