Wenn das erfindungsgemäße Haushaltsgerät in einer Möbelnische aufgestellt werden soll, werden zunächst die Befestigungsplatten 8, 9 an den Seitenwänden 12 des Korpus 1 angebracht, der Korpus 1 wird in der Möbelnische platziert und mit Hilfe von die Langlöcher 16 durchsetzenden Schrauben an Seitenwänden der Möbelnische vorfixiert. Die Schrauben werden dabei nicht angezogen, so dass die Vorfixierung lediglich eine Fixierung des Korpus 1 in Tiefenrichtung in Bezug auf die Nische darstellt. Am vorfixierten Gerät werden die Dekorplatten 4, 5 angehängt und in Bezug auf benachbarte Möbelfronten justiert. Wenn sich beim Justieren eine Höhenkorrektur des Korpus 1 als notwendig erweist, kann diese durch Verstellen der Füße 6 auf einfache Weise erfolgen, ohne dass die Vorfixierung gelöst werden muss. Erst nachdem die Justierung der Dekorplatten 4, 5 gelungen ist und die Höhe des Korpus 1 sich als korrekt erwiesen hat, werden die Befestigungsplatten 8, 9 definitiv an der Möbelplatte festgeschraubt.
