Definitions
- the invention relates to a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a first fluid and a second fluid, comprising: a block for the separate and heat exchanging guidance of the first and second fluid, which block has a number of flow passages through which the first fluid can flow; at least one box associated with the block, which is fluidly connected to the flow channels; and at least one bottom provided with one or more through holes for passage of the flow channels between the block and the box; wherein at least one passage opening is formed as a passage with a collar.
- the invention further relates to a use of the heat exchanger and a manufacturing method.
- Heat exchangers are, in particular in mobile applications, usually constructed as a pipe corrugated fin systems.
- the block of such a heat exchanger of the type mentioned has, for example, a so-called radiator network of an alternating superposition of pipes and heat-transmitting corrugated fins.
- a heat exchanger is exposed to a particularly high stochastic pressure and thermal cycling.
- the mentioned alternating stresses are decisive for the life of a heat exchanger.
- the thermal cycling is at a Heat exchanger of the type mentioned above due to the resulting in the region of the pipe ends particularly high mechanical stress amplitudes dominating load.
- a heat exchanger of the type mentioned with an improved pipe-ground connection is from applications of the applicant, for example DE 197 57 034 A1 or DE 103 43 239 A1 , known.
- GB 169,855 also known to keep pipe ends at a heat exchanger in a draft.
- GB 169,855 a passage with a collar, which has a tooth-shaped contour formed by tongues at its end facing away from a bottom plate, in which a pipe end is held flexible and resilient.
- the tongues mentioned reach a local extension of the draft and serve to equalize a sudden change in the moment of resistance in the region of the pipe-ground connection in order to take into account any sudden change in cross-section of a pipe.
- This makes it possible to achieve a more flexible and flexible retention of tubes in the area of the passage - the latter only leads to a general relief of a pipe-floor connection, without counteracting the concrete stresses in the region of the corner radii of the pipe-floor connection.
- a passage which has a raised collar intended for receiving a heat exchanger tube with an oval outline.
- the collar has a smaller height in the region of its small radii than in the region of its larger radii.
- a substantially step-like, sectionally rectilinear collar contour is proposed.
- Such a heat exchanger is in particular in view of the problems occurring in an internal pressure change and / or temperature change due to the tensile and bending-causing stresses in need of improvement.
- the invention begins, whose object is to provide a heat exchanger in which the durability is improved and a manufacturing process is made safer and / or easier.
- the collar can advantageously have sections according to the invention on all sides, i. be circumferentially provided with sections of the invention. It may also prove advantageous to provide sections according to the invention only on opposite sides of the collar - e.g. on the long sides or short sides of the collar (in the case of flat tubes) -or only on two adjacent sides of the collar. An inventive section may also be provided only on one or only on three sides of the collar.
- all passage openings of the floor are designed as a passage with a collar.
- only a portion of the passage openings can be designed according to the invention.
- the inventive design of the passage openings at the edge or corner regions of the bottom for edge or corner areas has proven to be advantageous.
- the invention is based on the consideration that, as explained above, an in DE 100 16 029 A1 provided continuously decreasing wall thickness from the beginning of a pull to its end and a simple bending of the collar outward has strength disadvantages, because the contact area between the pipe and the bottom is reduced and because the passage at the lower end is comparatively thin and thus entails strength disadvantages. Based on this consideration, the invention has recognized that it should be possible to provide an insertion bevel in a collar, ie to make a collar bendable, and yet to provide a sufficient strength for increased strength contact surface between the collar and tube in a passage available.
- the invention provides that the collar recognizable sections, namely a bottom-near portion and an end-side portion, between which at least one shoulder is arranged as a recognizable separation between the sections, which has a transverse to the contour of the bottom-proximal portion and the end-side section heel contour.
- the invention has recognized that it is possible by this measure in an advantageous manner, wegzuneigen the end-side portion of a pull-through axis and thus still provide a sufficient contact surface between the collar, in particular the near-bottom portion, and the tube.
- a comparatively long and thin collar in the end portion In addition, a comparatively firm, dimensionally stable near-bottom portion of the collar should be present. In particular, this can be made thicker than the end-side section.
- the collar can be formed with improved process reliability and a strength advantage.
- the size of the insertion for example, by the size of the design of the paragraph and adjust depending on the intended use.
- it is generally ensured that the cross section of the wall of the collar to the cooler network, in particular discontinuously increases discontinuously.
- Total leave Lead chamfers produce, which are significantly larger than limited by the material thickness of the collar insertion chamfers according to the prior art.
- the invention also leads to a manufacturing method according to one of the further independent claims, in which, according to the concept of the invention, a shoulder with a transverse heel contour is provided, in particular embossed.
- the transverse heel contour is designed in such a way that the predominant wall cross-sectional difference between the near-bottom portion and the end-side portion is thereby formed.
- it is placed by the transverse paragraph contour practically a predetermined kink.
- a particularly advantageous manner is defined by the transverse paragraph contour a doctormorede, ie apparent boundary between the paragraph and the end portion in the form of a tilting parts, so that the end-side portion of the passage axis tilts the finished passage.
- the border practically corresponds to a kink and / or bending point at the collar.
- a strongest wall cross-section change at the boundary to be identified between the end-side section and the shoulder is designed in such a way that, at its boundary to the radiator network, the cross-section increases the most over a comparatively narrow space in comparison to other sections of the collar.
- a sales contour is executed in a straight line.
- a heel contour can be arranged at a right angle to an edge of the bottom-near portion. This type of sales contour can be realized particularly easily with the aforementioned advantages according to the concept of the invention.
- a heel contour has a groove.
- a heel contour is arranged at an acute angle to an edge of the bottom portion. This makes it possible, in a particularly advantageous catfish, to determine the angle of an insertion bevel by forming the groove, in particular by forming the acute angle.
- the widening angle of the insertion bevel is determined by the bending or bending of the end section in that the latter is bent down until it rests against a groove forming the acute angle.
- a heel contour can be obliquely rectilinear.
- a heel contour it has proven to be advantageous for a heel contour to be arranged at an obtuse angle to an edge of the region near the bottom.
- This variant defines in a particularly advantageous manner a bending and / or kinking in the context of the manufacturing process.
- a heel contour in a further varied development of the invention can also be curved.
- sales contours have proved to be advantageous, which can be realized in the context of a spline adjustment.
- a paragraph contour can be approximated in a particularly advantageous manner as a higher-order polynomial.
- an edge of the ground-level and / or end-side section is largely rectilinear. It has been shown that in a particularly advantageous manner, the disadvantages of the prior art are avoided.
- a number of paragraphs for example, two or more paragraphs between an end-side portion and a ground-level portion may be provided. If necessary, the transition between a ground-level section and an end section can be graded to suit the intended use.
- the shoulder is formed as part of a transitional section, wherein the transition section has a transition from the shoulder to the ground-level section and a transition from the shoulder to the end-side section. It has been found that, according to the aforementioned development, a transition to the shoulder can be carried out in a coordinated manner depending on the intended use, and thus the buckling and / or bending behavior at a transition to the shoulder can advantageously be influenced. Thus, a transition, in particular a transition from the ground-level section to the paragraph at right angles or obtuse or acute-angled execute. Also, a transition to the paragraph can be performed continuously or discontinuously as needed. Thus, it has proven to be advantageous to perform both transitions steadily or both transitions unstably.
- the concept of the invention can be applied to pipes of any cross-section.
- the concept of the invention has been found in a flow channel in the form of a flat tube with a narrow pipe side and a pipe width side, for example, with a rectangular, or rectangular with a curved pipe narrow side, or oval cross-sectional shape.
- the above-described concept or one of the refinements of the same can be combined with a development according to which the passage opening, in particular the collar, at least one curved away from a plane substantially perpendicular to Rohrachsutter and at a distance from said plane having running boundary contour.
- a heat exchanger according to the concept of the invention can basically be designed in many ways.
- the block has a chamber receiving the flow channels and through which the second fluid can flow.
- the box is further provided with a lid, wherein the lid is fixed to the ground. Additionally or alternatively, the bottom may be formed integrally with the box.
- a flow channel preferably has a heat-conducting element in the form of an inner rib attached to a channel inside, in particular soldered, and / or a heat-conducting element in the form of an outer rib attached to a channel outside, in particular soldered.
- the ribs are also called corrugated ribs.
- the block may be beyond a flow guide, in particular a turbulence device.
- a so-called radiator network is formed as part of the block of an alternating superposition of pipes and heat-transmitting corrugated fins.
- the invention leads in a particularly preferred manner to a heat exchanger in the form of a direct or indirect charge air heat exchanger, in particular radiator or in the form of an exhaust gas heat exchanger, in particular radiator.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a first fluid and a second fluid, comprising: a block for the separate and heat exchanging guidance of the first and second fluid, which block has a number of flow passages through which the first fluid can flow; at least one box associated with the block, which is fluidly connected to the flow channels; and at least one bottom provided with one or more through holes for passage of the flow channels between the block and the box; wherein at least one passage opening is formed as a passage with a collar. The invention further relates to a use of the heat exchanger and a manufacturing method.
Heat exchangers are, in particular in mobile applications, usually constructed as a pipe corrugated fin systems. The block of such a heat exchanger of the type mentioned has, for example, a so-called radiator network of an alternating superposition of pipes and heat-transmitting corrugated fins. In particular, in the aforementioned case, a heat exchanger is exposed to a particularly high stochastic pressure and thermal cycling. The mentioned alternating stresses are decisive for the life of a heat exchanger. In particular, the thermal cycling is at a Heat exchanger of the type mentioned above due to the resulting in the region of the pipe ends particularly high mechanical stress amplitudes dominating load. It has been shown that within the block there is practically always an inhomogeneous temperature distribution with one of these directly assigned, inhomogeneous distribution of thermal expansions; the latter results in a distortion of the block. It is of crucial importance that thermal expansion differences within the block can not only occur in a tube longitudinal direction, but generally also exist transversely thereto. In particular, it has been found that for corner pipes of the radiator network, comparatively strong bending deformations in the area of the ground connection result with associated comparatively high stresses. For example, it is possible to determine the highest stresses in the case of a flat tube in the region of the transition from the tube narrow to the tube broad side, ie in the region of the corner radii, along the circumference of the tube. If it is possible to minimize the stresses on the tube bottom connection in the region of the corner radii or of the transition from the tube narrow side to the tube side, then an increase in the service life of the heat exchanger can be achieved.

The tongues mentioned reach a local extension of the draft and serve to equalize a sudden change in the moment of resistance in the region of the pipe-ground connection in order to take into account any sudden change in cross-section of a pipe. Although this makes it possible to achieve a more flexible and flexible retention of tubes in the area of the passage - the latter only leads to a general relief of a pipe-floor connection, without counteracting the concrete stresses in the region of the corner radii of the pipe-floor connection.

It would be desirable to improve the durability in a heat exchanger of the type mentioned and at the same time to improve the conditions for a reliable process automated production.
- the collar, on at least one side, a bottom-near portion and an end-side portion, wherein a wall cross-section the end portion is smaller than a wall cross section of the bottom portion; and
- at least one shoulder is arranged between the bottom-side and the end-side section, which has a heel contour running transversely to the contour of the bottom-near section and the end-side section; and where
- the end portion is inclined away from a passage axis.
The collar can advantageously have sections according to the invention on all sides, i. be circumferentially provided with sections of the invention. It may also prove advantageous to provide sections according to the invention only on opposite sides of the collar - e.g. on the long sides or short sides of the collar (in the case of flat tubes) -or only on two adjacent sides of the collar. An inventive section may also be provided only on one or only on three sides of the collar.
Advantageously, all passage openings of the floor are designed as a passage with a collar. Advantageously, only a portion of the passage openings can be designed according to the invention. In particular, the inventive design of the passage openings at the edge or corner regions of the bottom for edge or corner areas has proven to be advantageous.
Overall, thereby the conflict of goals between a maximum insertion bevel and increased strength of the pipe-ground connection is achieved in an improved manner. The solution is significantly effected by the transverse paragraph contour, which forms in particular the predominant wall cross-section difference between the bottom-near portion and the end-side section. A thus achieved, in particular to a comparatively small space - namely the paragraph - limited, cross-sectional change thus provides a limited space made available change in the moment of resistance. This is determined on the one hand, the position of the change in cross section as that point on which kinks a collar outwards. On the other hand, a comparatively thin collar and long collar can easily be bent through the end-side section. In addition, the near-ground section can be designed dimensionally stable and comparatively strong material. In other words, the collar can be formed with improved process reliability and a strength advantage. In particular, can be influenced by the concept of the invention, the size of the insertion, for example, by the size of the design of the paragraph and adjust depending on the intended use. In this case, it is generally ensured that the cross section of the wall of the collar to the cooler network, in particular discontinuously increases discontinuously. Total leave Lead chamfers produce, which are significantly larger than limited by the material thickness of the collar insertion chamfers according to the prior art.
The invention also leads to a manufacturing method according to one of the further independent claims, in which, according to the concept of the invention, a shoulder with a transverse heel contour is provided, in particular embossed.
Further advantageous developments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims and specify in particular advantageous ways to realize the above-described concept of the invention within the scope of the task, as well as with regard to further advantages.
In a particularly preferred development of the invention, following the concept of the invention, the transverse heel contour is designed in such a way that the predominant wall cross-sectional difference between the near-bottom portion and the end-side portion is thereby formed. In other words, it is placed by the transverse paragraph contour practically a predetermined kink. This ensures that on the one hand, the end-side portion of the collar is made comparatively long and thin with the advantages of easy Abbiegbarkeit. On the other hand, the ground-level portion of the collar is virtually unaffected by the bending process and can thus be formed sufficiently close to the pipe. By this measure, the target conflict between improved strength of the collar and improved process reliability in an automated manufacturing process is solved in a particularly advantageous manner.
In a particularly advantageous manner is defined by the transverse paragraph contour a auszumachende, ie apparent boundary between the paragraph and the end portion in the form of a tilting parts, so that the end-side portion of the passage axis tilts the finished passage. As part of the production, the border practically corresponds to a kink and / or bending point at the collar. Advantageously lies for this purpose, a strongest wall cross-section change at the boundary to be identified between the end-side section and the shoulder. In other words, a transition between the end-side section and the at least one shoulder is designed in such a way that, at its boundary to the radiator network, the cross-section increases the most over a comparatively narrow space in comparison to other sections of the collar. This measure advantageously ensures that a kinking and / or bending point is actually positioned at the boundary between the shoulder and the end-side section within the scope of the manufacturing process. Advantageously, this results in that the complete end-side section is inclined to the paragraph or to the border to the paragraph.
In a first varied development, a sales contour is executed in a straight line. Preferably, a heel contour can be arranged at a right angle to an edge of the bottom-near portion. This type of sales contour can be realized particularly easily with the aforementioned advantages according to the concept of the invention.
In a second variant, a heel contour has a groove. To be particularly advantageous, it has been found that a heel contour is arranged at an acute angle to an edge of the bottom portion. This makes it possible, in a particularly advantageous catfish, to determine the angle of an insertion bevel by forming the groove, in particular by forming the acute angle. In the manufacturing process, the widening angle of the insertion bevel is determined by the bending or bending of the end section in that the latter is bent down until it rests against a groove forming the acute angle.
In a third variant of the invention, a heel contour can be obliquely rectilinear. In particular, it has proven to be advantageous for a heel contour to be arranged at an obtuse angle to an edge of the region near the bottom. This variant defines in a particularly advantageous manner a bending and / or kinking in the context of the manufacturing process.
In principle, a heel contour in a further varied development of the invention can also be curved. In particular, sales contours have proved to be advantageous, which can be realized in the context of a spline adjustment. In other words, a paragraph contour can be approximated in a particularly advantageous manner as a higher-order polynomial. Likewise, it has proved to be advantageous that an edge of the ground-level and / or end-side section is largely rectilinear. It has been shown that in a particularly advantageous manner, the disadvantages of the prior art are avoided. In other variants, a number of paragraphs, for example, two or more paragraphs between an end-side portion and a ground-level portion may be provided. If necessary, the transition between a ground-level section and an end section can be graded to suit the intended use.
It has proved to be particularly advantageous that the shoulder is formed as part of a transitional section, wherein the transition section has a transition from the shoulder to the ground-level section and a transition from the shoulder to the end-side section. It may also be advantageous to continuously make a transition from the ground-level section to the heel and to make a transition from the end-side section to the step unsteady. Conversely, it may be advantageous to make a transition from the ground-level section to the step unsteady and to make a smooth transition from the end-side section to the paragraph.
These and not explained in detail modified developments in the context of the concept of the invention have proven to be particularly advantageous for attachment to a collar which is oriented towards the block, in particular towards a radiator network structure.
In principle, the concept of the invention can be applied to pipes of any cross-section. Particularly effective, the concept of the invention has been found in a flow channel in the form of a flat tube with a narrow pipe side and a pipe width side, for example, with a rectangular, or rectangular with a curved pipe narrow side, or oval cross-sectional shape.
In a particularly preferred development of the invention, the above-described concept or one of the refinements of the same can be combined with a development according to which the passage opening, in particular the collar, at least one curved away from a plane substantially perpendicular to Rohrachsrichtung and at a distance from said plane having running boundary contour.
A heat exchanger according to the concept of the invention can basically be designed in many ways. Advantageously, the block has a chamber receiving the flow channels and through which the second fluid can flow. Advantageously, the box is further provided with a lid, wherein the lid is fixed to the ground. Additionally or alternatively, the bottom may be formed integrally with the box.
It has also been found that the concept of the invention is particularly effective for corner tubes and / or for tubes arranged in an edge area of a block.
The invention has proven to be particularly advantageous in terms of heat exchangers as so-called pipe corrugated systems. For this purpose, a flow channel preferably has a heat-conducting element in the form of an inner rib attached to a channel inside, in particular soldered, and / or a heat-conducting element in the form of an outer rib attached to a channel outside, in particular soldered. The ribs are also called corrugated ribs. Preferably, the block may be beyond a flow guide, in particular a turbulence device. In a particularly preferred embodiment, a so-called radiator network is formed as part of the block of an alternating superposition of pipes and heat-transmitting corrugated fins.
The invention leads in a particularly preferred manner to a heat exchanger in the form of a direct or indirect charge air heat exchanger, in particular radiator or in the form of an exhaust gas heat exchanger, in particular radiator.

A heat exchanger according to the concept of the invention is realized according to a preferred embodiment in the form of a charge air cooler for direct charge air cooling and serves for heat exchange between a charge air and a coolant, preferably air. In an alternative embodiment, the charge air cooler can be realized for indirect charge air cooling, wherein the coolant is preferably water. In particular, such and other heat exchangers may be used for charge air cooling - or generally, charge fluid cooling - in mobile applications, e.g. Commercial vehicles are used. In the present case, the heat exchanger has a block comprising a radiator network for the separate heat exchanging guidance of the charge air and of the coolant. For this purpose, the block has a number of flow channels through which charge air can flow, which additionally have a heat-conducting element in the form of an inner rib attached to a channel inside and a heat-conducting element in the form of an outer rib attached to a channel outside. Such usually consisting of an alternating superposition of pipes and heat-transmitting corrugated fins arrangement is also referred to as a radiator network. A box fluidly connected to the flow channels is associated with the block, and a bottom between the block and the box is provided with one or more through holes for passage of the flow channels between the block and the box.

In all embodiments, flat tubes are provided. In the present case, a flat tube 11 is formed as a rectangular tube. Moreover, in another embodiment, the cross-section of a tube may be varied. Thus, a cross section may also be approximately rectangular, approximately oval or for example, be a rectangular cross-section with a curved narrow side.
The

In summary, a
However, from the aspect of strength, it is not disadvantageous when the collar as a whole is as thin as possible. A thin collar has the advantage of being more flexible when the net grows on one side in width, which is particularly beneficial to the thermal shock resistance.
It is advantageous if a transition (24 ') from the ground-level section (23) to the shoulder (27, 28) is continuous and a transition (24 ") from the end-side section (25) to the shoulder (27, 28) is unsteady, or a transition (24 ") from the end portion (25) to the shoulder (27, 28) is continuous and a transition (24 ') from the bottom portion (23) to the shoulder (27, 28) is unsteady.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the collar (7) is oriented towards the block, in particular oriented towards a cooler mesh structure.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if a flow channel in the form of a flat tube (11) with a narrow pipe side (13) and a pipe broadside (15) is formed, in particular comprising a cross-sectional shape selected from the group consisting of: rectangular, rectangular with a curved pipe narrow side (13 ), oval or the like.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the collar (7) has at least one boundary contour (19) which is curved away from a plane substantially perpendicular to the tube axis direction (21) and extends at a distance from the said plane.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the block has a chamber receiving the flow channels and can be flowed through by the second fluid.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the box (3) has a lid (5) and the lid (5) is fixed to the floor (1) and / or the floor (1) is formed integrally with the box (3).
Furthermore, it is advantageous if a flat tube (11) is arranged as a tube in an edge region, in particular a corner region, of the block and, in particular, only such tubes is held to a passage opening formed as a passage with a collar.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if a flow channel has a heat conducting element attached to a channel inside, in particular in the form of a soldered inner rib, and / or a heat conducting element attached to a channel outside, in particular in the form of a soldered outer rib, preferably an inner rib and / or an outer rib is formed as a corrugated fin.
