Abstract

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Zünder (2) für ein Geschoss mit einer Zündanordnung (54) zum Zünden einer Hauptladung des Geschosses und einem Verzögerungsdetonator (10) zum Zünden der Zündanordnung (52) nach einer durch eine Abbrandstrecke (66) einer Verzögerungsladung (30) festgelegten Verzögerungszeit, wobei der Verzögerungsdetonator (10) ein Gehäuse (26) mit einer Zündhälfte (60), in der er gezündet wird, und einer Detonatorhälfte (62), die eine Detonatorladung (34) zum Zünden der Zündanordnung (54) beinhaltet, aufweist.
Um ein Blindgehen des Geschosses durch eine zu frühe Detonation des Verzögerungsdetonators (10) zu vermeiden, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Gehäuse (26) in der Zündhälfte (60) eine Entlastungsöffnung (40) mit einem im zündenden Zustand des Verzögerungsdetonators (10) frei durchgängigen Öffnungsquerschnitt aufweist.
