Definitions
- the invention relates to a nonwoven fabric for use as a moisture-permeable, microporous semi-luxury packaging material, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- nonwovens used to package the portion nus are often bonded nonwovens made of 100% viscose fibers (as longitudinally oriented batt). These are made with a thermoplastic Binders, which is applied as an aqueous, foamed polymer dispersion bound.
- Such nonwovens may contain a binder solids content of 20-70%, and sometimes exhibit highly abrasive behavior that can cause problems in processing the material. It is largely determined by the amount of binder used.
- nonwovens for the packaging of oral tobacco must have a good heat sealability.
- a very good sealable fleece is often so sticky that it collects dirt particles during manufacture and thus becomes unsalable.
- a bonding or sticking of the nonwoven fabric to the role occur, so that it can not be separated.
- An exemplary machine for making individual Snuspierechen is in the WO 2008/062301 A1 shown.
- the tobacco mixture is portioned via a rotary plate and transported to the packaging apparatus.
- the snus portions are blown by means of a nozzle in an endless web of packaging material.
- the packaging material is unwound from a roll and positioned around a mandrel.
- the edges of the fabric are sealed longitudinally by means of ultrasonic welding elements. Below the mandrel, another ultrasonic welding element is placed to divide the endless wrapping web into small snus packets after filling with individual tobacco portions.
- the object of the invention is achieved by a nonwoven fabric for use as a moisture-permeable, microporous semi-luxury packaging material according to feature combination according to claim 1.
- the nonwoven fabric for use as a moisture-permeable, microporous semi-luxury packaging material from a base fleece of viscose fibers, which is pre-consolidated by means of water jet and fusible fibers from a thermoplastic polymer material.
- the nonwoven to be produced Due to preconsolidation e.g. by means of water jet, the nonwoven to be produced has on the one hand the required porosity, for use as packaging material for oral tobacco and on the other hand it is more resistant to abrasion and cheaper material costs than previously used packaging materials.
- the required heat-sealing capability of the nonwoven fabric can be obtained on the one hand from the admixture of polymer fibers in the base nonwoven.
- the polymer fibers are part of the pre-consolidated by water jet base material.
- the polymer fibers are polypropylene fibers.
- a fiber amount of polypropylene fibers and viscose fibers is present, which is processed by the method of hydroentanglement to form a nonwoven.
- the produced nonwoven fabric has a basis weight of 25 g / m 2 and consists of a fiber material which consists of 70% viscose fibers and 30% polypropylene fibers.
- the required heat sealability can be obtained by using a binder which is not or only partially crosslinked and is obtained from a polymer dispersion applied to the base web.
- a particular advantage of the described nonwoven fabric is that it can be dyed.
- This may preferably be black or black brown, but also other colors.
- the colors black or brown are of particular advantage, since the used oral tobacco in this color segment can rub off on the nonwoven fabric. With such a dyed fleece these discolorations are no longer visible.
- conspicuously colorfully colored oral tobacco packaging, such as red or green, can be used for marketing reasons in order to stand out clearly from competitive products.
- the nonwoven fabric according to the invention can be used in the production of snus packaging with the already known packaging machines.
- 25 g / m 2 fiber material which consists of 70% viscose fibers and 30% polypropylene fibers, processed by hydroentanglement to form a nonwoven and then dried.
- the heat-sealability of the material is obtained from the polypropylene fibers, which provide, for example, when processing with an ultrasonic welder for sealing the snus bag.
