Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Vliesstoff zur Verwendung als feuchtedurchlässiges, mikroporöses Genussmittelverpackungsmaterial, gemäß Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
  • Neben der allgemein bekannten Art des Genusses von Tabak in Form von Zigaretten, Pfeifen, Schnupftabak oder Kautabak, existiert eine weitere Form des oralen Tabakgenusses, nämlich Snus. Diese vor allem in Skandinavien verbreitete Form des Oraltabaks, ist ein mit Salzen versetzter Tabak, der unter die Oberlippe gesteckt wird.
  • Es wird zwischen losem Snus und portionsverpacktem Snus unterschieden, wobei der Lössnus, als feuchtes Pulver in Dosen verpackt, vor dem Gebrauch mit den Fingern oder anderen Hilfsmitteln portioniert werden muss. Der Portionsnus hingegen ist bereits in kleinen Beuteln (ähnlich kleinen Teebeuteln) abgepackt und zum direkten Gebrauch geeignet, d. h. der mit dem Tabak befüllte Beutel wird vollständig unter die Oberlippe gesteckt. In der CA2133299 A1 wird ein Vliesstoff offenbart, dass ein mittels Wasserstrahlung vor-verfestigtes Grundvlies aufweist, und aus einem Fasermaterial besteht welches Viskosefasern und Polypropylenfasern aufweist. In der WO 2008/056135 A2 werden die Produktion, Zusammensetzung und die Verpackung eines Oraltabaks offenbart. Es wird aufgeführt, dass der abgewogene Tabak beispielsweise in einer Celluloseacetat-Verpackung beutelförmig versiegelt werden kann.
  • Bei zur Abpackung des Portionsnus verwendeten Vliesstoffen handelt es sich außerdem oftmals um gebundene Vliesstoffe aus 100 % Viskosefasern (als längsorientierter Faserflor). Diese werden mit einem thermoplastischen Bindemittel, welches als wässrige, verschäumte Polymerdispersion appliziert wird, gebunden.
  • Derartige Vliesstoffe können einen Bindemittelfeststoffanteil von 20 - 70 % enthalten und zeigen mitunter stark abrasives Verhalten, das bei der Verarbeitung des Materials zu Problemen führen kann. Es wird maßgeblich durch die Menge des verwendeten Bindemittels bestimmt.
  • Bisher bekannte Vliesstoffe zur Verwendung als Snusverpackungsmaterial können mit dem derzeitigen Stand der Technik nur in weiß hergestellt werden. In diesem Zusammenhang verstärkt dies das Sichtbarwerden leichter Abfärbungen des Oraltabaks auf das Vliesmaterial.
  • Vliesstoffe zur Verpackung von Oraltabak müssen vor allem über eine gute Heißsiegelfähigkeit verfügen. Ein sehr gut siegelfähiges Vlies ist häufig so klebrig, dass es bei der Herstellung Schmutzpartikel sammelt und somit unverkäuflich wird. Außerdem kann ein Zusammen- bzw. Ankleben des Vliesstoffes an der Rolle auftreten, sodass es nicht mehr getrennt werden kann.
  • Eine beispielhafte Maschine zur Herstellung einzelner Snuspäckchen wird in der WO 2008/062301 A1 dargestellt. Zunächst wird das Tabakgemisch über einen Rotationsteller portioniert und zum Verpackungsapparat transportiert. Dort werden die Snusportionen mittels einer Düse in eine Endlosbahn von Verpackungsmaterial gepustet. Das Verpackungsmaterial wird dabei von einer Rolle abgewickelt und um einen Dorn positioniert. Die Kanten des Gewebes werden in Längsrichtung mittel Ultraschallschweißelementen versiegelt. Unterhalb des Dorns ist ein weiteres Ultraschallschweißelement platziert, um die Endlosverpackungsbahn nach dem Befüllen mit einzelnen Tabakportionen, in kleine Snuspäckchen zu unterteilen.
  • Um das soeben dargelegte Heißversiegelverfahren weiterhin bei der Abpackung von Snusportionen anwenden zu können und gleichzeitig auf Vliesstoffe mit hohen Bindemittelanteilen und den damit einhergehenden Verfahrensproblemen auf Grund des abrasiven Verhaltens und der starken Klebrigkeit der bekannten Vliesstoffe verzichten zu können, ist es die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung einen weiterentwickelten Vliesstoff anzugeben, der über eine gute Heißsiegelfähigkeit verfügt ohne mit den soeben genannten nachteiligen Materialeigenschaften behaftet zu sein. Zudem soll es mit dem anzugebenden Vliesstoff ermöglicht werden, Verpackungsmaterial bereitzustellen, das farbig ausgeführt ist oder eingefärbt werden kann.
  • Die Lösung der Aufgabe der Erfindung erfolgt durch einen Vliesstoff zur Verwendung als feuchtedurchlässiges, mikroporöses Genussmittelverpackungsmaterial gemäß Merkmalskombination nach Patentanspruch 1. Erfindungsgemäß besteht der Vliesstoff zur Verwendung als feuchtedurchlässiges, mikroporöses Genussmittelverpackungsmaterial aus einem Grundvlies aus Viskosefasern, das mittels Wasserstrahl vorverfestigt ist und schmelzbaren Fasern aus einem thermoplastischen Polymermaterial aufweist.
  • Aufgrund der Vorverfestigung z.B. mittels Wasserstrahl, verfügt das herzustellende Vlies zum einen über die benötigte Porosität, zur Verwendung als Verpackungsmaterial für Oraltabak und zum anderen ist es abriebfester und günstigern in den Materialkosten als bisher verwendete Verpackungsmaterialien.
  • Die benötigte Heißsiegelfähigkeit des Vliesstoffes kann einerseits aus der Beimischung von Polymerfasern in das Grundvlies gewonnen werden. In diesem Fall sind die Polymerfasern Bestandteil des mittels Wasserstrahl vorverfestigten Grundmaterials.
  • Zweckmäßigerweise handelt es sich bei den Polymerfasern um Polypropylenfasern. Erfindungsgemäß liegt ein Fasergemenge aus Polypropylenfasern und Viskosefasern vor, welches mittels der Methode der Wasserstrahlverfestigung zu einem Vlies verarbeitet wird.
  • Der hergestellte Vliesstoff weist ein Flächengewicht von 25 g/m2 auf und besteht aus einem Fasermaterial, welches aus 70 % Viskosefasern und 30 % Polypropylenfasern besteht.
  • Andererseits kann die benötigte Heißsiegelfähigkeit durch Einsatz eines Bindemittels gewonnen werden, das nicht oder lediglich teilvernetzt ist und aus einer auf des Grundvlies aufgebrachter Polymerdispersion gewonnen wird.
  • Ein besonderer Vorteil des beschriebenen Vliesstoffs, liegt darin, dass dieser eingefärbt werden kann. Bevorzugt kann dies in den Farben schwarz oder braun, aber auch anderen Farben erfolgen. Die Farben schwarz oder braun sind von besonderem Vorteil, da der verwendete Oraltabak in diesem Farbsegment auf den Vliesstoff abfärben kann. Bei einem derartig gefärbten Vlies sind diese Abfärbungen nicht mehr sichtbar. Zudem können auffällig bunt eingefärbte Oraltabakverpackungen, wie rot oder grün, aus vermarktungstechnischen Gründen verwendet werden, um sich von Wettbewerbsprodukten eindeutig abheben zu können.
  • Der erfindungsgemäße Vliesstoff kann bei der Produktion von Snusverpackungen mit den bereits bekannten Verpackungsautomaten verwendet werden. Erfindungsgemäß wird 25 g/m2 Fasermaterial, welches aus 70 % Viskosefasern und 30 % Polypropylenfasern besteht, durch Wasserstrahlverfestigung zu einem Vlies verarbeitet und anschließend getrocknet. Es muss kein weiterer Auftrag von Bindemitteln erfolgen. Die Heißsiegelfähigkeit des Materials wird aus den Polypropylenfasern gewonnen, die beispielsweise bei der Bearbeitung mit einem Ultraschallschweißgerät für eine Versiegelung des Snusbeutels sorgen.
  • Hierbei kommen selbstverständlich lebensmittelverträgliche Farbstoffe zur Anwendung.

Claims (1)

  1. Vliesstoff zur Verwendung als feuchtedurchlässiges, mikroporöses Genussmittelverpackungsmaterial,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    ein mittels Wasserstrahl und ohne weiterer Auftrag von Bindemitteln vorverfestigtes Grundvlies aus Viskosefasern einen Anteil an schmelzbaren Fasern aus einem thermoplastischen Polymermaterial aufweist, wobei der Vliesstoff ein Flächengewicht von 25 g/m2 aufweist und aus einem Fasermaterial besteht, welches 70% Viskosefasern und 30% Polypropylenfasern aufweist.
