Abstract
L'invention concerne un arbre de direction (1), en particulier pour un véhicule automobile, pour la liaison active d'une manette de direction avec une roue dirigée, avec un premier arbre (2) et avec un second arbre (3), les arbres (2, 3) étant liés par liaison de couple par l'intermédiaire d'un joint homocinétique (4). Pour créer un arbre de direction avec un joint homocinétique dont l'espace de construction et les coûts de fabrication sont rendus minimaux, on prévoit qu'un arbre (2, 3) est fixé, avec formation d'un joint à ajustement serré longitudinal (5) élastique-plastique, sur un premier élément de raccord (7) lié de façon solidaire en rotation avec un élément d'entraînement (6) du joint homocinétique (4).
