Zur Befestigung der Kaltstrangverpackung 2 am Kaltstrangkopf 1 dienen Zuganker 10, 11 in Gestalt von Bolzen 12 welche mit dem unteren Teil 13 in den Kaltstrangkopf 1 eingesetzt und mit einem Querbolzen verriegelt wird, sowie einem oberen Gewindeteil 14, auf dem eine Mutter 15 aufgeschraubt ist. Die Plattenhälften 7a, 7b haben Langlöcher 16 bzw. 17 als Durchgangslöcher für die Zuganker 10 und 11. Die Muttern 15 sind gegen Andrückbüchsen 18 festgeschraubt, die ihrerseits gegen die einteilige Verpackungsplatte 8 angedrückt sind. Beim Montieren ist auf die Verschiebbarkeit der Verpackungsplatten zu achten, d.h. man darf die Muttern 15 nicht zu fest anziehen, ausser man legt einen Distanzring zwischen die Platten. Die Zuganker 10 und 11 übernehmen auch die Zugkräfte, die zwischen Warmstrang und Kaltstrang beim Ausziehen des Stranges wirksam sind.
Um die beiden Plattenhälften 7a, 7b insbesondere im Stegbereich sicher zu halten, ist die einteilige Verpackungsplatte 8 mit einer in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Verstärkungsrippe 23 versehen, die der Verpackungsplatte 8 eine höhere Steifigkeit im mittleren Bereich verleiht. - System for sealing a dummy bar head according to one of the claims 2 and 3, characterised in that a one-piece packing plate (8) is provided, which is mounted on the dummy bar head (1) and covers the two-part packing plate (7).
