Definitions
- Rotary tablet presses according to the preamble of claim 1 are well known. These include a connectable to a drive shaft of an engine rotor.
- the rotor comprises a die plate with arranged on a circumferential line dies, as well as a lower and upper punch guide.
- Unterstempel- or upper punch guide engage Unterrythe upper punch, which are controlled by stamp curves, so that the stamp can perform relative to the matrices Hubzien.
- EP 1 050 398 A2 shows a rotary tablet press in which the rotor is connected via a clamping device releasably connected to the drive machine. The actuation takes place via an additional actuating device, which is movably mounted in an axial channel of the drive shaft.
- the structure is complicated and also provides through the additional mechanically movable parts within the drive shaft targets for deposits of rotary tablet presses inevitably occurring dusts within the drive device.
- the actuation of the actuating rod within the drive shaft takes place from outside the drive shaft, for which purpose a separate drive is required.
- the rotor For maintenance, cleaning or retrofitting of the rotor, for example to other tablet forms, it is desirable that the rotor can be easily removed from the tablet press without extensive disassembly work.
- the invention proposes for this purpose a rotary tablet press with a rotor and a drive machine for the rotor, wherein the rotor via a clamping device releasably connected to a drive shaft of the drive machine is positively connected and the clamping device and an actuating element for the clamping device are integrated into the rotor and the Clamping device comprises at least one clamping element which is displaceable by means of the actuating element from a clamping position via a dead center position in a release position and vice versa.
- the Clamping device comprises at least one clamping element which is displaceable by means of the actuating element from a clamping position via a dead center position in a release position and vice versa.
- the rotor can be brought back into its operating position in a simple manner by tensioning the clamping device.
- the rotor comprises a pull rod on which a hoist or the like can engage.
- a release of the clamping device takes place at the same time. This requires no further operations to remove the rotor from the rotor shaft.
- a self-adjustment and self-tension (quick tension) of the clamping device takes place when inserting the rotor in the tablet press.
- the tensioning device supports the release of the operative connection between the rotor and the drive shaft during removal by spring elements or the like. In this way it is particularly ensured that the rotor does not accidentally dissolves from the operative connection with the drive shaft, but only an active removal process must be initiated, so that in fact a removal of the rotor can take place.
- FIG. 1 a total of 10 designated rotary tablet press. Structure and function of such rotary tablet presses are well known, so that in the context of the present description will be discussed only on the essential components of the invention.
- the tablet press 10 comprises a rotor 12, which carries a die plate 14 with matrices 16 provided therein.
- the upper punch guide 20 is associated with a punch cam 22, via which the upper punch can be brought over the circumference of the rotor 12 in the known height positions, for example dosing, pre-pressing, main press position, ejection position.
- the lower punches are also guided over a, not shown here, stamp curve. It is still possible to see pressure rollers 24 which are arranged fixed to the machine and by means of which pressure is applied to the tablet via the lower punches or upper punches.
- the rotor 12 is operatively connected via a generally designated 26 clamping device with a drive shaft 28 - a drive, not shown.
- the rotor 12 is rotationally driven by the prime mover about a rotation axis 30.
- the rotor 12 is shown to the left of the axis of rotation 30 in its tensioned state and the right of the axis of rotation 30 in its dissolved, but not yet removed state.
- the tensioning device 26 is connected to a pull rod 32, which is led out of the rotor 12.
- the pull rod 32 has a receptacle 34 for a non-illustrated load means.
- the pull rod 32 comprises a shaft 36, which is arranged coaxially to the axis of rotation 30 and is non-positively connected to likewise coaxially arranged clamping elements 38.
- clamping elements 38 are provided over the circumference of the rotor 12.
- the clamping elements are from a clamping position (as shown in the left in FIG. 1 ) into a release position (as shown on the right in FIG. 1 )
- the pull rod 32 displaced. There is a dead center between the clamping position and the release position, so that an independent, accidental skipping of the clamping elements 38 is excluded from the clamping position to the release position.
- On the construction of the clamping elements 38 will be discussed later in more detail.
- tablet press 10 in particular the tensioning device 26, shows the following function.
- first coupling elements 40 of the clamping elements 38 are displaced. These first coupling elements 40 are connected via axes of rotation 42 rotatably connected to the shaft 36. This results in a lifting of the coupling elements 40 and at the same time a pivoting of the coupling elements 40 about the axes of rotation 42.
- the first coupling elements 40 are connected via spring elements 44 in operative connection with second coupling elements 46 of the clamping elements 38.
- the spring elements 44 are compression springs which the coupling elements 40 and 46 with apply a respective opposite compressive force.
- the coupling elements 40 and 46 and the spring element 44 as a whole form as an element consisting of an elastic material.
- the second coupling elements 46 are connected to clamping jaws 48. As a result of the release of the clamping elements 38, the second coupling elements 46 are pivoted about the axes of rotation 50 to the clamping jaws 48 and simultaneously displace them radially to the rotary axis 30. This allows the jaws 48 - when releasing the clamping elements 38 - except Engagement with counter-stops 52, which are on the one hand non-positively connected to the rotor 12 and on the other hand positively connected to the drive shaft 28. As a result, an axial removal of the rotor 12 from the drive shaft 28 is possible.
- FIG. 2 shows the rotor 12 in a sectional view, again in the one hand tensioned position, left of the axis of rotation 30, and in the relaxed position, right of the axis of rotation 30. Same parts as in FIG. 1 are provided with the same reference numerals and not explained again.
- FIG. 3 shows in an enlarged sectional view of the clamping device 26.
- the same parts as in the preceding figures are provided with the same reference numerals and not explained again.
- clamping device 26 in particular the clamping elements 38 are clear.
- the coupling elements 40 and 46 are connected to each other via the spring element 44.
- the clamping elements 38 are in the clamping position, while these are right of the axis of rotation 30 in the released position.
- the clamping jaws 48 rest against the counter-stops 52.
- 52 corresponding conical ramp surfaces 55 are formed between the jaws 48 and the counter-stops, which lead to a self-adjustment during the clamping operation.
- FIG. 4 different views of the clamping elements 38 are shown. So shows FIG. 4a a tensioning element 38 in its dead center position. This position is reached when an imaginary connecting line between the axes of rotation 42 and 50 coincides exactly with a radial to the axis of rotation 30.
- FIG. 4b shows a clamping element 38 in the clamping position while Figure 4c shows a clamping element 38 in the released position.
- FIG. 4d shows the cocked position while Figure 4e shows the detached position.

Description

- eine Schnittdarstellung durch eine Tablettenpresse;
- Figur 2
- eine Schnittdarstellung durch einen Rotor der Tablettenpresse;
- Figur 3
- Figur 4
- verschiedene Ansichten der Spanneinrichtung.
- In
- In
