Claims (5)

  1. Unitary cartridge piston for squeezing a mass from a cartridge, comprising a piston front face (11), a circumferential side wall (12) and at least one flexible sealing lip (20, 21) provided at the side wall and projecting forward, wherein the side wall (12) has a circumferential or discontinuous front protective edge (30, 33) which, in axial projection, covers a portion of the at least one sealing lip,
    characterized in that
    said protective edge (30, 33) has a greater rigidity than the at least one sealing lip.
  2. Cartridge piston of claim 1, characterized in that the front protective edge (30) is provided at the piston front face (11) and projects laterally beyond the same.
  3. Cartridge piston of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a rear protective edge (33) is provided at the rear end of the side wall (12), the diameter of the rear protective edge (33) being enlarged with respect to the side wall (12).
  4. Cartridge piston of claim 3, characterized in that the rear protective edge (33) comprises passages (35; 37; 38).
  5. Cartridge piston of claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the rear protective edge is interrupted at least once along the circumference.
