Die O-Ring-Dichtung 18 dient dazu, im Bereich des Betriebsarten-Wahlschalters ein Eindringen von Staub oder anderen Verunreinigungen in das Gehäuse 4 des Bohrhammers 2 zu verhindern. Der Begrenzungsrand der Öffnung 14 steht im Inneren der Gehäuses 4 etwas über die umgebende Gehäusewand über, wobei der Überstand 20 auf seiner zylindrischen Außenseite mit vier eingeformten Aufnahmetaschen 22 (nur eine sichtbar) versehen ist. Die Aufnahmetaschen 22 dienen zur Aufnahme einer im Schaltelement 12 integrierten Arretierkugel 24, die von einer ebenfalls im Schaltelement 12 integrierten Schraubendruckfeder 26 radial von außen her gegen den Überstand 20 angepresst wird und in den vier diskreten Schaltstellungen des Drehknaufs 8 jeweils teilweise in eine der vier Aufnahmetaschen 22 eintritt, um dadurch das Schaltelement 12 zusammen mit dem Drehknauf 8 in der jeweiligen Schaltstellung zu arretieren.The opening 14 of the

Der einstückig mit dem Unterteil 28 ausgebildete Betätigungsvorsprung 30 weist eine leicht konvex gewölbte Oberseitenwand 44, zwei im Abstand unter einem spitzen Winkel zueinander ausgerichtete Längsseitenwände 46, 48, sowie zwei gerundete, die Längsseitenwände 46, 48 verbindende Stirnwände 50, 52 auf. - Electrical appliance according to Claim 7, characterized in that the anti-rotation means (74, 78) engage in one another in a form-fitting manner when the functional element (12) and the operating element (8) are connected, before the latching means (84, 86) enter into latching engagement with one another.
- Electrical appliance according to one of Claims 4 or 5 or 6, characterized in that the latching means (84, 86) and the anti-rotation means (74, 78) of the functional element (12) and of the operating element (8) are integrally formed on the functional element (12) and on the operating element (8), respectively, or are integrally formed in the functional element (12) and the operating element (8), respectively.
