Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de transmission de données sur une voie (12) de transmission entre un tachygraphe (2) installé dans un véhicule (5), notamment un véhicule automobile, et un dispositif (3) de traitement de données éloigné du véhicule. Pour améliorer la protection des données, il est proposé selon l'invention un procédé du type mentionné précédemment avec lequel la transmission s'effectue par le biais d'une première section (6) de voie de la voie de transmission disposée entre le tachygraphe et un contrôleur (4) de communication installé dans le véhicule et d'une deuxième section (8) de voie de la voie de transmission comprenant un trajet radioélectrique et disposée entre le contrôleur de communication et le dispositif de traitement de données. Selon l'invention, le tachygraphe crypte les données à envoyer du tachygraphe au dispositif de traitement de données en fonction d'un signal de demande de cryptage envoyé au tachygraphe par le dispositif de traitement de données et ces données sont transmises cryptées du tachygraphe au dispositif de traitement de données aussi bien sur la première section de voie que sur la deuxième section de voie. De plus, l'invention se rapporte à un dispositif (1) pour mettre en œuvre un tel procédé.
