Description

The present invention relates to a fume extractor for extracting cooking fumes from a cooking station, comprising a suction unit having at least one suction fan for sucking the cooking fumes from the cooking area and a housing, and a suction surface with a number of fins, which from a non-use position, in the they close the suction surface, in a use position in which they release the suction at least partially, are movable.

Vapor extraction devices of the type mentioned, which are suitable for extracting cooking vapors, which arise during operation of a cooking zone, are known in numerous different embodiments of the prior art. The known extractor devices have a suction surface through which the vapors generated during operation of the cooking point can flow into the extractor device. The cooking vapors are filtered with the aid of at least one filter element which serves as a fat and / or odor filter, and discharged via an exhaust air line, which is in flow communication with the extractor device. If the extractor device is set up for recirculation mode, the filtered air can flow back into the room in which the extractor device is installed.

The EP 1 310 741 A2 discloses a fume extractor with a housing and with one or more filters for cleaning an air flow. On the upstream side of the extractor device, at least one plate arranged pivotably relative to the housing is provided on which the filter or filters is / are arranged.

The WO 2004/090425 A2 shows a suction device for sucking and supplying air for a cooking place, wherein the flow conditions can be adapted to the cooking position to different cooking situations, thereby obtaining an efficient suction effect. The device has a pivotable plate with at least one exhaust air duct, at least one grease filter in front of the exhaust air duct and an intake area in front of the grease filter. Furthermore, an actuatable flap is arranged in front of the suction area. The pivotable plate can be pivoted from a horizontal position to a vertical position.

The DE 1 883 153 A1 discloses a fume extractor which can be pivotally mounted to a wall by means of a hinge above a cooking location and has a motorized suction device for extracting cooking fumes housed in the fume extractor housing. The extractor device can be manually pivoted from a non-use position, in which it extends substantially parallel to the wall, in a use position in which it is oriented substantially orthogonal to the wall. The pivoting of the extractor device from the hob away in the non-use position by means of a handle which is arranged on a side opposite the hinge side of the housing. Since the extractor device is relatively heavy, pivoting into the non-use position requires a comparatively high expenditure of force. The re-pivoting back into the position of use is also relatively difficult, since the handle in the non-use position is difficult for a user to reach.

From the EP 1 522 793 A1 a fume extraction device of the type mentioned is known, which is suitable for the extraction of cooking fumes. The extractor device has a suction surface through which flow out of a cooktop vapors. In the area of the suction surface, a plurality of fins are provided which, in at least one operating state of the fume extractor, limit one or more passage spaces arranged between them, through which fumes enter the suction surface. The lamellae prevent the cooking vapors from flowing past the suction surface and causing them to be given a preferential direction to the suction surface of the extractor device. The housing of the extractor device is fixedly mounted on a wall, so that the suction surface with the lamellae extends above the hob away from the wall. A disadvantage of the known from the above-mentioned document solution is that the extractor device is carried out relatively spacious.

The invention thus presents the problem of providing a vapor extraction device of the type mentioned, which is made more compact than the solutions known from the prior art and allows efficient extraction of cooking vapors from a hotplate.

According to the invention this problem is solved by a fume extractor device of the type mentioned with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention will become apparent from the following subclaims.

According to claim 1, an extractor device according to the invention is characterized in that the extractor device comprises a suction panel which is pivotable relative to the suction unit from a non-use position into a use position and within which the lamellae are movably arranged, wherein the pivotal movement of the suction coupled with the movement of the fins is. The achievable with the present invention consist in addition to an overall more compact version of the extractor device, which can be mounted by a structural separation of the suction unit, which can save space on a wall or in an installation opening of a wall, and of the suction panel pivotable relative to the suction unit, in the coupling of the pivoting movement of the suction panel with the movement of the slats. In their position of use (intake position), in which they release the suction surface of the intake panel at least in regions, the movable blades can advantageously effect that the cooking vapors receive a preferential direction on the suction surface of the extractor hood and thus do not flow past the suction surface. The extractor device may in particular be designed such that the suction panel from the non-use position, in which the suction panel is preferably oriented substantially parallel to a facing housing wall of the suction unit, by a certain preset angle, in particular in a range of about 40 ° to about Can be 45 °, can be pivoted relative to the suction unit. Preferably, the extractor device comprises a plurality of hinge components, by means of which the intake panel is pivotally mounted. The hinge components can be arranged on the intake panel on the one hand and on the housing of the suction unit and / or on a wall mounting frame which can be mounted in the opening of the wall and cooperate in such a way after assembly that the suction panel can be pivoted relative to the suction unit. The extractor device according to the invention can be set up by a corresponding fluidic design either for an exhaust air operation or for a recirculation mode.

According to the invention it is further proposed that the pivoting movement of the intake panel is synchronized with the movement of the slats. It can thereby be achieved that the intake panel and the slats simultaneously reach their use positions. According to the invention, it is further provided that the extractor device comprises a drive device which is connected to the intake panel and is adapted to drive the pivoting movement of the intake panel. The invention further provides that the drive device comprises a motor and at least one coupling means, which is in operative connection with the engine and is coupled to the intake panel. To provide for movement of the fins, it is contemplated that the fume extractor includes a geared motor capable of driving the movement of the fins or comprising mechanical coupling members for coupling the movement of the fins with the movement of the suction panel.

At least some of the fins may, in an advantageous embodiment, be pivotably mounted within the intake panel. In this embodiment, at least some of the slats are pivoted into their position of use, in which they at least partially release the suction surface of the intake panel.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment it can be provided that at least some of the slats are arranged displaceably within the intake panel. In this embodiment, at least some of the slats can be moved into their position of use, in which they at least partially release the suction surface of the intake panel.

In order to simplify the mechanical construction of the drive device, the at least one coupling means may in an advantageous embodiment comprise a substantially rod-shaped coupling part. Other equivalent coupling agents may also be used in other alternative embodiments. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, it is proposed that the motor is a linear motor (preferably a spindle drive). The linear motor drives a linear movement of the coupling means which is coupled to the intake panel and pushes the pivotally mounted intake panel from the non-use position into the use position or pulls it back into the non-use position from the use position.

It can be provided in an advantageous embodiment that each of the lamellae comprises a substantially plate-shaped end element. The end elements, which preferably extend over the entire width of the intake panel, may in particular be made of glass, plastic or metal. Moreover, it can be provided in a further advantageous embodiment that the suction surface of the suction panel has a number of stationary (ie non-movable) cladding elements. The cladding elements may likewise consist in particular of glass, plastic or metal and preferably extend over the entire width of the suction panel. In a particularly preferred embodiment, there is the possibility that at least one of the lamellae is arranged in the vertical direction of the suction surface next to each of the lining elements.

In order to improve the visual appearance of the extractor device, it is preferred that the movable slats in the non-use position flush with the cladding elements. As a result, a visually harmonious appearance of the intake panel in the non-use position can be obtained.

In an advantageous embodiment, it is proposed that the extractor device comprises a bellows which extends between the suction panel and the housing of the suction unit and provides a flow connection between the suction panel and the housing. With the help of the bellows, which expediently consists of a material, which is impermeable to the sucked cooking vapors, a very flexible flow connection between the suction and the suction unit can be made.

In order to improve the visual appearance when mounting the extractor device in an installation opening of a wall, a particularly advantageous embodiment provides that the intake panel in the non-use position is flush with the wall.

In order to filter the vapors drawn in during the operation of the extractor device from the cooking point, it is proposed in a particularly preferred embodiment that the extractor device has at least one filter element suitable for filtering out grease and / or odors from the extracted cooking vapors. Preferably, the at least one filter element is housed within the intake panel. Instead of a single filter element, it is also possible, in alternative embodiments, to provide a plurality of filter elements arranged side by side and / or one behind the other. In multi-layered filter elements, for example, one of the filter elements for filtering grease and one of the filter elements for filtering odors may be provided. The provision of a filter element that is suitable for filtering odors is particularly advantageous when the extractor device is set up for recirculation mode.

With reference to Figure 1 to Figure 6c will now be explained in more detail a fume extractor 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, which is suitable for aspirating cooking vapors, which may occur at a cooking place, especially when cooking, steaming or frying food. The extractor device 1 is suitable in this embodiment for mounting in a mounting opening 20 of a wall 2 above the cooking surface and includes a pivotally mounted suction panel 3, which defines a suction surface for cooking vapors and, if necessary, from a non-use position, the FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 is shown, in a position of use, in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 is shown, or can be pivoted from the use position back to the non-use position.

The suction surface of the suction panel 3, which faces the hotplate during operation of the extractor device 1 comprises in this embodiment a number of movable, substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart in the vertical direction lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c, which after assembly of the Extractor device 1 in the horizontal direction over the entire width (or at least over almost the entire width) extend. The structural design of the blades 4a, 4b, 4c will be explained in more detail below. In addition, the suction surface of the suction panel 3 comprises a number of stationary (non-movable), substantially rectangularly shaped lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c, which are arranged substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart in the vertical direction. In this embodiment, the intake panel 3 each has three movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c and three stationary cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c, wherein in the vertical direction next to each movable blade 4a, 4b, 4c at least one stationary cladding element 5a, 5b, 5c is arranged. The gaps that form in the non-use position between the slats 4a, 4b, 4c and the adjacent cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c are comparatively narrow. As in FIG. 1 and 3 to recognize the intake panel 3 in the non-use position is flush with the wall 2 from. The movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c also close in this position flush with the adjacent stationary cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c, so that the overall result is a harmonious and visually inconspicuous appearance of the suction of the intake panel 3 in the non-use position.

The extractor device 1 further comprises a suction unit 7 with a substantially box-shaped housing 70, within which a suction fan 8 is housed for sucking cooking vapors. On an upper side of the housing 70, in this exemplary embodiment, a substantially tubular exhaust air connection 71 is formed, which is arranged behind the suction fan 8 in the flow direction. Through the exhaust pipe 71, the sucked by the suction fan 8 during operation of the extractor device 1 air from the suction unit 7 in a not explicitly shown here exhaust pipe, which is provided behind the wall 2, to flow. The exhaust duct may alternatively be arranged in the wall 2.

Thus, the extractor device 1 can be mounted in a simple manner on the wall 2, a wall mounting frame 6 is provided in this embodiment, which - in particular in Fig. 6a to recognize - is inserted into the mounting hole 20 of the wall 2 and can be securely fixed there by means of several fasteners. The wall mounting frame 6 is preferably made of metal and is substantially trough-shaped. The wall mounting frame 6 has a rear wall 60 and four side walls 61, 62, 63, 64 which extend substantially orthogonally away from the rear wall 60 and thus define the depth of the wall mounting frame 6. In the rear wall 60 of the wall mounting frame 6, a substantially rectangular shaped mounting opening 68 is formed for the suction unit 7. Furthermore, the wall mounting frame 6 has a substantially tubular connection piece 65, which is attached by means of an angled running bracket 66 to the rear wall 60 of the wall mounting frame 6 at a vertical distance from the upper side wall 63. The connecting piece 65, which is in flow connection after assembly with the exhaust pipe 71 of the suction unit 7, can be connected to the provided behind the wall 2, not explicitly shown here exhaust pipe, so that sucked by means of the suction fan 8 from the cooking point cooking vapors finally over the exhaust duct can be discharged.

The housing 70 has on its front housing wall 75, which faces the intake panel 3 after assembly, two mounting flanges 72, 73 which extend in the installed position in the vertical direction and a plurality of spaced apart holes (not provided with reference numerals). In the rear wall 60 of the wall mounting frame 6 also a plurality of spaced holes in the vertical direction (also not provided with reference numerals) are provided which correspond to the holes of the mounting flanges 72, 73 of the housing 70 of the suction unit 7. After insertion of the suction unit 7 in the mounting hole 68, the holes of the mounting flanges 72, 73 and formed in the rear wall 60 of the wall mounting frame 6 holes in pairs aligned with each other, so that through each pair of holes each have a fastening means, in particular a fastening screw, a fastening bolt or like that can be, thereby securely set the suction unit 7 on the rear wall 60 of the wall mounting frame 6.

Thus, the suction panel 3 can be pivoted relative to the stationary mounted in the wall mounting frame 6 suction unit 7, the wall mounting frame 6 in this embodiment at its lower side wall 61 two widthwise spaced apart hinge members 67a, 67b. On one of the side walls of the suction panel 3 also hinge members 31 are arranged, which are connected during assembly with the hinge components 67a, 67b of the wall mounting frame 6, so that the suction panel 3 relative to the wall mounting frame 6 and thus also relative to the fixed in the wall mounting frame 6 arranged suction unit 7 can be pivoted from the non-use position into the use position or from the use position back to the non-use position.

In order to establish a flow connection between the suction panel 3 and the suction unit 7, a bellows 9 is provided in the embodiment shown here from a material impermeable to the sucked cooking vapors, which is fixed to the housing 70 of the suction unit 7 and thereby formed in the front housing wall 75 Air inlet opening in the circumferential direction encloses. The bellows 9 is connectable to the suction panel 3 during assembly, thereby providing a flow connection between the suction panel 3 and the suction unit 7. For this purpose, the suction panel 3 has, for this purpose, on a wall facing the suction unit 7 after assembly, a substantially rectangularly shaped mounting opening 32, into which the bellows 9 can be inserted and fastened.

In order to effect the pivoting movement of the suction panel 3 relative to the suction unit 7 arranged stationary in the installation opening 20 of the wall 2, a drive device with a motor 11 and a coupling means, which in this embodiment is a substantially rod-shaped coupling part 10, is in the housing 70 of the suction unit 7 , housed. As in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4 To recognize, the motor 11 is pivotally mounted on a holder 16 within the housing 70. The motor 11 is designed in this embodiment as a linear motor, in particular as a spindle drive, which causes an axial movement of the substantially rod-shaped coupling part 10, which is in operative connection with the intake panel 3 after assembly, thereby causing a pivotal movement of the intake panel 3 from the non-use position in which the bellows 9 is compressed and the coupling part 10 is retracted to reach the position of use. As in particular in FIG. 4 to recognize, while the rod-shaped coupling member 10 is extended while pushing the pivotally mounted intake panel 3 in its position of use (suction position). It can be seen that the outer contour of the bellows 9 during the pivoting movement adapts accordingly. Conversely, the coupling member 10 by means of the motor 11 back into the in FIG. 3 shown position are moved so as to convert the intake panel 3 from the use position back to the non-use position.

The intake panel 3 has a housing frame 36 and a filter mount 33, which is arranged on a side of the intake panel 3 facing the bellows 9 after assembly. The filter holder 33 is arranged pivotably on the housing frame 36 of the suction panel 3 via two hinges 34a, 34b arranged at a distance from one another. Further, two locking elements 35 a, 35 b are provided, which are arranged on a side opposite to the two hinges 34 a, 34 b side to lock the filter holder 33 in the closed position on the housing frame 36. In the filter holder 33, a filter element 12 is housed in the embodiment shown here, to filter out grease and / or odors from the suctioned from the extractor device 1 during cooking vapors. Instead of a single filter element 12, a plurality of side by side and / or successively arranged filter elements 12 may be provided in an alternative embodiment. In multi-layer filter elements 12, for example, one of the filter elements 12 for filtering grease and one of the filter elements 12 for filtering odors may be provided. So that the filter element 12 or each of the filter elements 12, which is arranged in the filter holder 33 of the suction panel 3, can be exchanged if necessary and / or other maintenance or cleaning work can be performed, the suction panel 3 can after unlocking the two locking elements 35a, 35b are transferred by pivoting the housing frame 36 relative to the filter holder 33 in a revision position, which in Fig. 5 is shown. In the revision position, the housing frame 36 of the suction panel 3 is pivoted relative to the filter holder 33 in a substantially horizontal position, so that the interior of the suction panel 3, in particular the filter element 12 and the filter elements, is accessible to a user / are. Thus, the filter holder 33 and the housing frame 36 of the intake 3 controlled in the revision position can be converted, two spaced-apart damping elements 37a, 37b are provided in this embodiment, which are substantially parallel to each other between the housing frame 36 and the filter holder 33 of the intake panel. 3 extend while dampening the pivotal movement of the housing frame 36 of the intake panel 3 relative to the filter holder 33. The two damping elements 37a, 37b are not limited to a particular embodiment and designed in this embodiment as a gas damper.

As mentioned above and in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 to recognize, close the movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c, which together with the lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c the Define the suction of the suction panel 3, in the non-use position of the extractor device 1 flush with the cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c. The pivoting movement of the intake panel 3 from the non-use position into the use position can be activated, for example, by actuating a pushbutton, switch or touch-sensitive element. The suction panel 3 is then rotated by a predetermined angle, which may be in a range from about 40 ° to about 45 °, with the aid of the substantially rod-shaped coupling part 10, which is driven by the motor 11 arranged in the housing 70 of the suction unit 7 , pivoted relative to the stationary suction unit 7. During the pivoting movement of the suction panel 3 into the use position, the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c move relative to the stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c into a suction position, which in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 can be seen. As a result of the automatic displacement movement of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c into their suction position, between the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c and the adjacent stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c several inflow regions are released, through which cooking vapors can flow into the suction panel 3.

In the suction position, the suction fan 8 of the suction unit 7 can be activated by a user by pressing a button, switch or touch-sensitive element, so that cooking vapors can be sucked from the hob, which flow through the inflow into the suction panel 3, where they then from the at least one filter element 12, which serves as a fat and / or odor filter, are filtered. The cooking vapors filtered by the at least one filter element 12 can then flow through the bellows 9 into the housing 70 of the suction unit 7 and pass through the suction fan 8. Subsequently, the cooking vapors are passed through the exhaust pipe 71 into the exhaust duct, which is provided here behind the wall 2, and thereby discharged from the extractor device 1. As an alternative to the above-mentioned manual activation of the suction fan 8, there is also the possibility that the suction fan 8 is automatically activated when the suction panel 3 and the blades 4a, 4b, 4c reach their position of use. The suction fan 8 preferably has a plurality of suction stages with different suction powers, which can be adjusted manually by a user. It is clear that the embodiment shown here of the extractor device 1 is set up for an exhaust air operation. In an alternative embodiment, the extractor device 1 described above with correspondingly adapted flow guides can also be set up for recirculating air operation. If the extractor device 1 is set up for recirculation mode, the filtered air can flow back into the room in which the extractor device 1 is installed.

With reference to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 will now be explained in more detail a second embodiment of a fume extraction device 1. In contrast to the first Embodiment, the extractor device 1 is now designed as a design variant. The extractor device 1 can be mounted directly on a wall 2, so that in particular no separate wall mounting frame 6 is required. The remaining structural design of in FIGS. 7 and 8 shown fume extraction device 1 is largely identical to that of the first embodiment, so that reference is made to the detailed description of the first embodiment at this point. The extractor device 1 has a suction unit 7 with a housing 70, which can be fastened directly to the wall 2 by means of suitable fastening means. Within the housing 70 of the suction unit 7, in turn, a suction fan 8 is housed, by means of which cooking vapors can be sucked from a hob during operation of the extractor device 1. The intake panel 3 is pivotally mounted relative to the housing 70 by means of hinge components not explicitly shown here, and has three movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c and three stationary (non-movable) cladding members 5a, 5b, 5c. The intake panel 3 may be formed by means of the drive device already explained above, which comprises a motor 11 (linear motor) and a substantially rod-shaped coupling part 10, from the in FIG. 7 illustrated non-use position in which the suction surface of the extractor device 1, which is defined by the blades 4a, 4b, 4c and by the cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c, is closed, in the FIG. 8 shown use position (suction) are transferred. By the sliding movement of the fins 4a, 4b, 4c in the suction position between the fins 4a, 4b, 4c and the adjacent stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c several inflow areas are released, can flow through the cooking fumes from the hotplate into the intake panel 3. Also in this embodiment, the suction panel 3 is connected via a bellows 9 fluidly connected to the suction unit 7. In the suction position, the suction fan 8 of the suction unit 7 can be activated by a user by pressing a button, switch or touch-sensitive element, so that cooking vapors can be sucked from the hob and can flow through the inflow into the suction panel 3, where they from the at least a filter element 12 are filtered. The cooking vapors filtered by the at least one filter element 12 can then flow through the bellows 9 into the housing 70 of the suction unit 7 and pass through the suction fan 8. Then the cooking vapors are passed through the exhaust pipe 71 into the exhaust pipe, which is provided on or in the wall 2, and thereby discharged from the extractor device 1. Alternatively to the manual activation of the suction fan 8, there is also the possibility that the suction fan 8 is automatically activated as soon as the suction panel 3 reaches its position of use (suction position). The suction fan 8 preferably has a plurality of suction stages with different suction powers, which can be adjusted manually by a user. It is clear that this embodiment of the extractor device 1 is set up for an exhaust air operation. In In an alternative embodiment, which is not explicitly shown here, the extractor device 1 described above with correspondingly adapted flow guides can also be set up for recirculating air operation. If the extractor device 1 is set up for a recirculation mode, the filtered air can flow back into the room in which the extractor device 1 is installed.

With reference to FIGS. 9a to 10c will be explained in more detail below the structural design of the movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c and the kinematics of the displacement movements of the blades 4a, 4b, 4c. The lamellae 4 a, 4 b, 4 c, which terminate in the non-use position of the suction panel 3 flush with the adjacent lining elements 5 a, 5 b, 5 c, each have a lamellae main body 41, which may be made of metal or plastic, for example, as well as a plate-shaped, in Substantially rectangular shaped end member 42 on. The plate-shaped end elements 42 of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c may consist in particular of glass, plastic or metal. Accordingly, the stationary cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c of the suction panel 3, which are also rectangular in shape and formed substantially plate-shaped, in particular made of glass, plastic or metal.

Out FIGS. 10a to 10c It is clear that the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c move during the transfer from the non-use position to the use position in a combined movement both orthogonal and parallel to the stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c of the intake panel 3. To simplify the further illustration is in FIGS. 10a to 10c drawn a Cartesian coordinate system, which is the reference system of the intake panel 3 and thus "moves along" accordingly in the pivoting movement of the intake panel 3. The main body 41 of the three movable blades 4a, 4b, 4c are fastened in this embodiment to a arranged inside the intake panel 3 fin holder 80. In the interior of the intake panel 3, a first pivoting lug 81 and a second pivoting lug 82, which is spaced from the first pivoting lug 81, are also articulated and articulated to the lamella holder 80.

In order to initiate a displacement movement of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c into the suction position, a geared motor 83 is accommodated within the suction panel 3, which is preferably operable in synchronism with the motor 11, which causes the pivotal movement of the suction panel 3. Alternatively, an asynchronous operation of the motor 11 with the geared motor 83 is possible. The geared motor 83 has a rotatable shaft 84 to which a substantially disc-shaped element 85 is attached. The disk-shaped member 85 is connected to the disc-shaped member 85 via a lever 86 which is eccentrically rotatably mounted and extends to the blade holder 80 and is rotatably mounted thereon Lamella holder 80 coupled. In the transfer of the fins 4a, 4b, 4c from the non-use position to the use position (suction), the disk-shaped element 85 is rotated in this illustration clockwise by 180 ° and thereby of the in FIG. 10a in the in FIG. 10c transferred position shown. The lamella holder 80 thereby moves in the x and y directions and thereby displaces the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c simultaneously likewise in the x and y directions in their end positions, which in FIG FIG. 9c or 10c are shown. When again transferring the slats 4a, 4b, 4c in the non-use position, the disk-shaped element 85 is rotated in the opposite direction (in this illustration, counterclockwise) by 180 °. In the present embodiment, a further rotation in a clockwise direction is alternatively conceivable.

In this exemplary embodiment, the middle slat 4b and the lower slat 4c of the suction panel 3 adjoining the lever 86 each have a hook element 40, which is attached to the slat main body 41 of the respective slat 4b, 4c and is suitable for an edge region of an adjacent cladding element 5a, 5b of the intake panel 3 to engage behind in the suction position. The cladding elements 5a, 5b thus effectively serve as a stop for the hook elements 40 of the lamellae 4b, 4c and thereby fix the lamellae 4b, 4c in the suction position on the adjacent cladding element 5a, 5b. In FIGS. 10a to 10c It can be seen that two of the lamellar base body 41 are structurally identical. By contrast, the lamella main body 41 of the upper lamella 4a of the suction panel 3, which adjoins the first pivot lug 81, has a different geometric shape. It can be seen that, in the position of use, a section 410 of the lamellar base body 41 extending in the x direction 41 of the uppermost lamella 4a abuts against the housing frame 36 of the suction panel 3. In the suction position between the fins 4a, 4b, 4c and the adjacent stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c several inflow areas released by the cooking fumes 1 can flow into the suction panel 3 during operation of the extractor device.

With reference to FIGS. 11a to 11c will now be explained in more detail an alternative embodiment of the intake panel 3, which is also suitable for the embodiments of the extractor device 1 described above. In this alternative embodiment, the intake panel 3 in turn has a number of substantially mutually parallel lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c, which are pivotally mounted within the intake panel 3 and define a suction surface. Stationary lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c are not provided in this embodiment of the suction panel 3. In non-use position, which in FIG. 11a is shown and in which the blades 4a, 4b, 4c are completely folded, the blades 4a, 4b, 4c close flush with each other. During the pivoting movement of the suction panel 3 in the in Fig. 11c illustrated Use position, the fins 4a, 4b, 4c are rotated about their respective axis of rotation and thereby release several inflow in the suction of the suction panel 3, so that cooking fumes can be sucked and can flow into the intake panel 3.

With reference to FIGS. 12 and 13 will be explained in more detail below, another embodiment of a fume extraction device 1. This embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiments already described in detail only by a lamella-free design of the suction panel 3. In other words, there are therefore no slidable or pivotable lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c which selectively close the suction surface of the suction panel 3 or at least in sections can share. The suction surface of the suction panel 3 is designed so that cooking fumes can be sucked from the cooking point and flow through the suction panel 3 via the bellows 9 in the housing 70 of the suction unit 7. The suction surface of the intake panel 3 may in particular have a plurality of steam inlet openings. The further structural design of the extractor device 1 has no differences from the embodiments described above and should therefore not be explained again in detail.

With reference to FIG. 14 will be explained in more detail below, another embodiment of a fume extraction device 1. The extractor device 1 has at least one lighting device 90, which is suitable for direct illumination of the environment of the extractor device 1, in particular the cooking area. It can be seen that the lighting device 90 is arranged behind the uppermost fin 4a of the suction panel 3, which in this embodiment consists of a transparent material (in particular of glass). The lighting device 90 is pivotally mounted in this embodiment within the intake panel 3 and pivots when extending the intake panel 3 in its position of use automatically in its functional position in which it can be switched on or off again by a user, for example via a keystroke. The lighting device 90 is only ready for operation when the suction panel 3 has been transferred to its position of use. Preferably, the lighting device 90 is designed so that it automatically turns off when folding the intake panel 3 in its non-use position and automatically pivots back to the rest position. If the extractor device 1 has a single lighting device 90 for direct illumination of the surroundings of the extractor device 1, this is preferably arranged approximately in a central region of the suction panel 3 behind the uppermost fin 4a. If, for example, two lighting devices 90 are provided for the direct illumination of the surroundings of the extractor device 1, they may be behind, for example, in edge regions or at least regions of the intake panel 3 which are close to the edge the uppermost blade 4a may be arranged. In a further embodiment, more than two lighting devices 90 for direct lighting of the environment of the extractor device 1 may be housed in the intake panel 3.

With references to FIGS. 15 and 16 Furthermore, there is the possibility that the extractor device 1 has at least one lighting device 91, which is suitable for indirect illumination of the extractor device 1. The lighting device 91 in this embodiment comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes which are mounted on a retaining strip, which is mounted below the bottom plate 4c of the suction panel 3, and can be switched on or off by actuating a switch. In the retracted state of the intake panel 3, the LEDs of the lighting device 91 can be turned on and emit light, which is located in the in FIG. 15 propagated by an arrow 93 indicated beam direction. During operation of the lighting device 91, depending on the power of the light-emitting diodes and depending on the light-damping properties of the fins 4a, 4b, 4c, the end elements 42 preferably consist of glass in this embodiment, and the cladding elements 5a, 5b, 5c at least some the end elements 42 of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c or some of the lining elements 5a, 5b, 5c illuminated and irradiated. In FIG. 16 the area 92 emitted by means of the lighting device 91 is hatched. The light emitted by the light-emitting diodes of the light-emitting device 91 initially enters the bottommost cladding element 5c from below and expands into the closing element 42 of the adjacent slat 4c and into a further cladding element 5b. Preferably, the lighting device 91 is designed so that it switches off automatically in a subsequent pivoting of the intake panel 3.

In order to prevent pinching of the user's fingers during the movement of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c and thus to reduce the risk of injury, corresponding constructive measures can be taken in the fume extraction devices 1 presented here. The geared motor 83 may for example be designed so that it switches off due to performance. Alternatively, the geared motor 83 may additionally comprise a resistance circuit, which may cause a shutdown of the geared motor 83 and thus a stop of the extension or retraction of the blades 4a, 4b, 4c in a mechanical resistance.

In order to avoid injuries during the pivoting movements of the intake panel 3, suitable design measures can also be taken. The suction panel 3 may comprise, for example, at least one pressure switch or pressure sensor, which can trigger a safety shutdown when the intake panel 3 is loaded by a mechanical resistance. Furthermore, the pivoting movements of the intake panel 3 by a Tastschalter are triggered, which causes when releasing the pivotal movement of the intake panel 3 comes to a standstill. Alternatively, it can also be provided that the release of the pushbutton switch during pivoting of the suction panel 3 causes the direction of the pivoting movement to reverse and the suction panel 3 thus pivots back into its position of use.

Alternatively to the aforementioned embodiments, it is conceivable that the movement of the lamellae 4a, 4b, 4c is coupled by means of mechanical coupling members with the movement of the intake panel. In this way, the geared motor 83 is not required.
