- Installation according to either one of Claims 11 and 12, characterized in that the small cylinders (1; 3) of each series are axially apart from one another at a distance substantially equal to their width and are arranged, staggered from one series to the other, so as to obtain an overlap width (e) in the cross direction of between approximately 0.1 mm and approximately 10 mm, preferably of approximately 1 mm.
- Installation according to any one of Claims 11 to 13, characterized in that it comprises, furthermore, a third series of small coaxial cylinders cooperating with the said engraved cylinder (2) for the purpose of combining the said plies, the respective axes of rotation of the first, second and third series of small cylinders being arranged around the engraved cylinder (2) so as to balance the forces exerted on the said cylinder (2).
