Description

The present invention relates to an inflatable buoy for swimmers and more particularly an improvement for a buoy in the situation inflated in the form of a belt, comprising a device for automatically inflating a buoy.

Many types of inflatable buoys are known, for example pre-inflated buoys on boats which can be thrown into the water to rescue a person. However, these buoys have many disadvantages such as lack of important security since they are not worn permanently.

Also known are inflatable buoys that can be worn but generally have disadvantages associated with their use as the difficulty of operating the inflation means. Indeed, the automatic inflation buoys, such as self-inflating lifejackets, are generally controlled by the traction of the user on a ring or a control member so as to allow the triggering of the inflation means. However, such a gesture is not necessarily natural and, moreover, it can cause the movement of the buoy or lifejacket in an uncomfortable position for its user.

The inflatable belt according to the invention proposes to solve the various aforementioned drawbacks with simple inflation means, reliable and controlled by a device for easy and safe use.

Thus, the inflatable swimmer belt of the type comprising at least one inflatable enclosure that can pass from a deflated position to an inflated position by means of inflation means, characterized in that said inflation means consist of a pressurized gas cartridge. whose triggering for inflating the belt is controlled by control means, said control means being constituted by a pivoting manual handle.

According to a complementary feature, the inflatable enclosure is in the form of a ring-shaped ring.

According to an alternative embodiment, the inflatable enclosure is in the form of a ring-shaped ring, the transverse profile of which varies in its dimensions and / or in its shape.

Selon une variante préférée, la partie avant de la ceinture présente en position gonflée un volume supérieur au reste de la ceintureAccording to a preferred variant, the front part of the belt has in the inflated position a volume greater than the rest of the belt

According to another characteristic, the pivoting manual handle and the cartridge are mounted on an ignition fixed rigidly to the inflatable enclosure, while the cartridge and the pivoting handle are arranged substantially parallel, and preferably parallel to the general plane of the belt.

Add that according to the preferred embodiment, the pivoting of the handle is done by bringing the handle towards the cartridge.

La ceinture gonflage selon l'invention portant la référence générale (1) est du type comprenant au moins une enceinte gonflable (2).The inflation belt according to the invention bearing the general reference (1) is of the type comprising at least one inflatable enclosure (2).

The belt (1) can thus be in two states or positions, a deflated position or rest position in which the inflatable chamber is substantially empty and the buoy substantially flat and folded, as illustrated figure 1 , and an inflated position where the inflatable enclosure comprises a gas under pressure so as to ensure the buoyancy of the buoy and its user as illustrated figure 2 .

Selon l'invention, lesdits moyens de commande (MC) comportent une poignée manuelle pivotante (6).The transition from the rest position to the inflated position is effected by inflation means (MG) under the action of control means (MC). According to the invention, said control means (MC) comprise a pivoting manual handle (6).

According to one embodiment of the invention, the inflatable enclosure (2) is in the form of an inflatable ring and is enveloped by a textile sheath or sheath (3).

The inflation means (MG) consist of a pressurized gas cartridge (4), such as for example a carbon dioxide cartridge, said cartridge (4) being mounted on the buoy (1) and more particularly on the enclosure inflatable (2) via a base (5) rigidly fixed to the enclosure and on which it is advantageously fixed detachably.

Said base is then intended to allow the cartridge (4) to expel the gas under pressure inside the inflatable chamber (2) during its opening caused by the control means (MC).

The inflation means (MG) are controlled by the pivoting manual handle (6) which thus constitutes the control means (MC), said handle being pivotally mounted on the base (5).

According to the embodiment of the invention, the gas cartridge (4) and the pivoting handle (6) are arranged substantially parallel, as shown in FIG. figure 3a , and are mounted on the upper part (7) of the base (5), as shown in figure 3b .

Said upper part (7) comprises, in a manner known per se, a not shown striker actuated by the pivoting handle (6) and intended to cause the opening of the gas cartridge (4) when the user actuates said handle (6) according to F, by bringing the handle towards the cartridge. To actuate the handle, the user will exert an action on the latter by pressing on the cartridge (4), taking full hand all handle-cartridge (4, 6), said assembly being maintained in a stable and rigid position thanks to the base fixed rigidly to the belt.

Note that the tip is disposed on the outer periphery of the inflatable enclosure (2) so that the user is not hindered by its presence and the pivoting manual handle (6) is easily achievable for him. Furthermore, the belt comprises a sleeve (8) which can advantageously move along the enclosure, said sleeve thus allowing to be able to retract the inflation device when its use is not desired.

Add that the handle-cartridge and base unit (4, 5, 6) is arranged in the thickness (e) of the torus constituted substantially by the buoy in its entirety.

La figure 4 illustre une variante de réalisation selon laquelle l'enceinte gonflable se présente sous la forme d'un anneau de forme torique, dont le profil transversal varie dans ses dimensions et dans sa forme, tandis que la partie avant de la ceinture présente en position gonflée un volume supérieur au reste de la ceintureThe figure 4 illustrates an alternative embodiment according to which the inflatable enclosure is in the form of a ring of toric form, the transverse profile of which varies in its dimensions and in its shape, whereas the front part of the belt has in the inflated position a volume greater than the rest of the belt

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and represented by way of examples, but it also includes all the technical equivalents as well as their combinations.

One could thus and for example add to the belt one or more accessories such as a radio transmitter, a bag of powder to remove sharks, see a balloon of location which would be inflated with helium thus rising to above the surface of the water.
