Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging container, in particular can-like container with a produced from composite film, cylinder or tube-like container body and a cover device, and a bottom closure, in particular floor.
- Such containers are well known and are used for storage, storage and transport of liquid, pasty and solid contents, the low weight and easy printability of such packaging are extremely advantageous.
- a disadvantage is sometimes the handling, in particular the opening of such containers, due to the flexibility of the container body, which is made of a composite film.
- the container body which is made of a composite film.
- it can happen very easily when opening the container that the contents of the package is spilled uncontrollably. This danger is especially true if the container opening is designed to be flexible.
- the WO 02/055402 A1 For example, to attach to a container opening a dimensionally stable ring.
- the EP 1 621 477 A1 describes flexible container according to the preamble of claim 1, wherein a local base element after removal of filler material from the local container again by placing a cap on holes of a local cover grating can be closed.
- a thickening or a projection is in each case integrally disposed on the cap there on the outside and on the base element thereon, wherein the thickening arranged on the cap on the cap snaps over the ring arranged on the inside of the base element on reclosing.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide an alternative to rigid, made of plastic, glass or metal packaging containers, which open in spite of the production of flexible composite film controlled and can be closed again, with a cap closure is provided with snap mechanism , which is suitable under a reduced effort to safely close the container after a first opening, without fear of the above-mentioned disadvantages, in particular a container deformation or destruction.
- the packaging containers according to the invention should be an alternative to rigid packaging cans.
- the object is achieved by a packaging container, in particular can-like container with a manufactured from composite film, substantially cylindrical or tube-like container body and a lid and a bottom, possibly floor, dissolved, the bottom of the opposite peripheral edge of the container body by a relatively stiff or dimensionally stable Is stabilized ring on and / or in which the lid up and / or can be latched, wherein the ring in the radial direction extending protuberances, which is also substantially perpendicular, ie extend in the axial direction or obliquely on the ring and are formed as ribs and wherein the protuberances cooperate with a snap edge located on the lid, wherein the snap edge is moved when closing the lid on the protuberances and snaps behind the protuberances.
- a packaging container in particular can-like container with a manufactured from composite film, substantially cylindrical or tube-like container body and a lid and a bottom, possibly floor, dissolved, the bottom of the opposite peripheral edge of the container body by a relatively stiff or
- the lid In the closed state, the lid is thus fixed on the container and concludes with, for example, a particular circumferential lip with a substantially smooth, in particular flat top of the ring, the lying on the smooth top of the ring coming section of the lid suitable is formed to the top of the ring and is sealed before a first opening of the container with this.
- An essential point of the invention is thus that by means of the upper peripheral edge of the container body stabilizing ring a dimensionally stable pouring opening respectively a dimensionally stable lid approach and / or a dimensionally stable lid device is provided, which can be easily opened, so that a targeted access to the contents of the package is possible.
- This is inventively achieved in that a relatively rigid and / or dimensionally stable ring is attached to the upper peripheral edge of the container body.
- the attachment can be realized by gluing or sealing.
- the ring according to the invention consists of plastic and is preferably produced by injection molding or deep drawing.
- the ring can be produced from a single-layer or multi-layer composite film, wherein preferably the composite film forming the container body is used.
- the ring may also be formed by folding or rolling the composite foil or a subcomponent of the composite foil, e.g. a sealable layer of the composite film may be formed.
- the rigid ring is fixed to the inside of the upper peripheral edge of the container body; however, external fixing of the ring to the upper peripheral edge of the container body is also possible.
- the ring may have a directed towards the container body groove, in which engages the peripheral edge of the container body.
- sealing or bonding is provided, wherein the ring in the former case, at least on the outside has a sealable material.
- the container body can also be slightly widened prior to insertion of the ring in the same, so that the peripheral edge of the container body after a relaxation firmly against the inserted ring, in particular an axial extent of the ring.
- the ring is fully connected to the peripheral edge of the container body, in particular glued, sealed, welded or otherwise tightly connected.
- the ring is at least partially shoulder-shaped.
- the protuberances arranged on the ring have a radial extension in the range of 0.1 mm to 10 mm, preferably in the range of 0.2 mm to 6.5 mm and particularly preferably in the range of 0.5 mm to 5 mm.
- the inner diameter of the opening of the container according to the invention can be varied by attaching protuberances with a different radial extent in a simple manner, so that an adaptation of containers with different opening radius to a certain lid size is easily possible.
- the protuberances may extend both in the direction of a container axis or away from this, depending on whether a lid snaps onto or into the ring, respectively engages.
- a cover film is arranged between the ring and the cover, which is sealed to the ring as a closure guarantee film or originality guarantee.
- a lid snapped onto the ring is first removed and then the covering film is removed.
- the lid can be designed so that he can be snapped on the ring again, so that the container is always closed again after opening.
- the lid means comprises an attached at the peripheral edge of the container body, in particular sealed, a container opening limiting and relatively rigid or dimensionally stable annular shoulder and extending over the container opening and sealed to the edge of the same covering.
- the neck has a radially outwardly extending latching projection, in particular annular projection, or a radially inwardly extending notch on or corresponding with complementary locking means, in particular the snap edge, on the cover.
- the lid can also be hinged as a hinged lid on the ring, in particular on the shoulder, via a film hinge. Shoulder and lid are then integrally connected. Basically, of course, a multi-part hinge joint is conceivable. It is also possible that the lid itself is formed kinkable. For this purpose, the lid may be formed in a section itself as a film hinge.
- the hinge joint may also be biased in the closed position of the lid, either by appropriate imprinting a tension in the material or by the arrangement of a torsion spring.
- the opening edge may be circular, oval, triangular or the like. With regard to the shaping here are no limits. In particular, the opening edge may comprise a sprue or beak. The lid is then designed accordingly.
- the cover film and / or the cover has at least one grip tab extending radially beyond the edge of the container opening.
- the cover can be easily detached or removed from the opening edge of the container.
- the container body is preferably made of a film which is fin-shaped or lap-seal formed into a cylindrical, frusto-conical or tubular body.
- the container body may alternatively also be a section of an extruded film tube.
- the container body optionally also the bottom and the covering film, preferably consist of a laminate, in particular aluminum laminate, with at least one sealing layer and optionally at least one barrier layer, in particular SiO 2 , ethylvinyl alcohol or a metal foil.
- the film thickness is in the range of 50 ⁇ to 1000 ⁇ , in particular 100 ⁇ to 500 ⁇ , preferably 150 ⁇ to 350 ⁇ . Ultimately, the film thickness also depends on the content and size of the packaging container.
- the bottom of the packaging container can either be cup-shaped flat or formed with V or W-fold and glued or sealed edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body.
- the bottom can also be closed only by forming a transverse sealing seam corresponding to the bottom closure of a toothpaste or the like.
- the floor consists of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material and is formed as a stand base, so that a total of a can-like container is formed, which is characterized by a relatively stiff bottom, a relatively rigid and dimensionally stable lid device and a container body made of composite film.
- Such containers are relatively lightweight, easy to produce, sufficiently dimensionally stable and safe to open and, if necessary, to close again. They can be used to store liquid, powdery or granular articles, in particular foods, drinks or even pharmaceuticals. Due to the flexibility of the container body or due to the simple deformability of the composite film from which the container body is to be made, can also be any number of different Create container shapes. Also, a printing of the container is very simple; it only needs the composite film to be pre-printed accordingly.
- the lid can be made of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material, so that the lid after opening the container for other uses, such as a pad for the container, is suitable.
- the relatively rigid or dimensionally stable bottom and / or lid is produced by injection molding or deep drawing. These manufacturing processes are extremely cost effective and are particularly well suited for the production of large quantities.
- the portion connecting the bottom and the container body, i. the floor, with a stabilizing structuring, in particular in the form of axially extending grooves or ribs be provided.
- a stabilizing structuring in particular in the form of axially extending grooves or ribs.
- the lid has a sloping lid top and thus a certain height extension.
- the lid according to the invention may be formed frusto-conical, with the lid tapers upwards. It should be noted that a combination of the features of a sloping top cover and a taper can be combined.
- the aforementioned embodiments are well suited for containers with a lid whose inclined top is available, for example, for advertising purposes and faces the viewer for better visibility. This is particularly advantageous when installing the containers on store shelves, especially since such a three-dimensionally designed lid has an unusual lid shape and thus represents a certain eye-catching feature.
- such a three-dimensionally designed lid with a truncated cone body and a sloping lid top can be used as a stand aid for the container after its removal from the top of the container, the container with its bottom, preferably at least partially formed approximately complementary to the truncated cone shape of the lid is put on this.
- the lid is designed so that it matches the floor in Intervention can be brought.
- the invention provides that the respective lid have a dome, through which a stacking function, both the lid with each other and the container is guaranteed, so that a stacking of the container, for example, on store shelves, in a secure manner is possible.
- the bottom can either be flat cup-shaped or formed with a V or W-fold and glued edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body, welded or sealed.
- This peripheral edge which usually serves at least as a partial footprint of the container, comes by placing the container on the lid in an inclined position, so that now the entire container has a slight inclination.
- the degree of filling of the container is dimensioned so that the filling material does not pour out of this slight skew, especially in a fully open container out of this.
- the lid can be placed either on its underside, but optionally also on its top side, and the bottom of the container, when used as a stand aid, is engaged with the lid on the inside or outside, so that the container does not can slip off the slope of the lid.
- the peripheral edge of the lid has a slightly larger outer diameter than the floor or top opening edge, so that the lid is now placed with its original top down on a base and the container in an opening of the lid comes to a standstill and is held for example by a lip or bar on the now upwardly directed lid peripheral edge.
- the container body has a different height over the circumference, so that the container opening of a horizontally standing container extends obliquely sloping.
- the lid is designed in such an oval shape that it is suitable for closing the container opening.
- a ring section or ring which can be snapped on at least around a section of the neck of the cover device and which surrounds the neck at least partially, is connected to the cover, in particular via a film hinge.
- the container can first be filled and sealed with a cover sheet before the lid is secured to the container by means of a ring or a ring portion at least partially surrounding the neck.
- the lid device is made of a relatively stiff or dimensionally stable material, it being emphasized that not only the lid, but also the entire lid device can be injection-molded or deep-drawn.
- the ring portion or ring are wrapped around at least a portion of the neck and thus connected to the container.
- Such a designed lid with the neck at least partially embracing attachment means may be removable, so that the lid can be used by the end user for various containers. In this way it is possible to close the container in a cost effective manner only with the cover.
- the lid with the neck at least partially embracing fastening device can thus be used by the end user, as needed, for reclosing an opened container.
- these sealability reducing substances may be, for example, polybutylene or polypropylene or a mixture of both, in particular with an admixture of 20% by weight of polybutylene to polypropylene.
- the lid has an opening which can be opened outwards and, in particular, sealed, before use, preferably closed with a film.
- an object such as a spoon, knife, fork or the like.
- Tool or addition can be arranged.
- the tool may preferably be formed foldable or collapsible.
- a cover sheet is removed from the top of the recess having the lid, so that the recess is accessible with the material therein. Then, the lid of the container can be opened, so that the interior of the container is accessible.
- the lid may serve as a stand aid for the container.
- the lid preferably has a larger area than the container bottom and is provided with a depression into which the container bottom can be inserted in an essentially registering manner.
- This embodiment is particularly preferred for use for smaller children, as overturning or overturning of the container is significantly more difficult due to its now enlarged footprint.
- the container itself may be provided with a cover sheet in addition to its lid.
- the packaging container shown is a can-like container 10 with a cylindrical or tube-like container body made of composite film 11 and a cover device 12 and a floor 13.
- the cover device 12 comprises a set on the peripheral edge 14 of the container body 11, namely externally sealed, a container opening 15 limiting and relatively rigid or dimensionally stable annular shoulder 16 and extending over the container opening 15 and to the Edge 17 of the same sealed cover sheet 18.
- a neck 19 is formed, on which a lid 20 can be screwed.
- a thread 21 is impressed on the outer circumference of the neck 19, which corresponds with a corresponding and not shown here internal thread of the screw 20.
- the container body 11 may be made of a rectangular foil blank whose overlapping longitudinal edges are either fin- or lap-seal-like connected to each other. Alternatively, and preferably, the container body 11 is a portion of an extruded film tube. In the bottom area, a dimensionally stable flat pot-like floor 13 is inserted and sealed with the container body 11 along the bottom-side peripheral edge, on the inside. The floor 13 is in a known manner at the bottom in the cylindrical container body 11, possibly with the same slight radial expansion thereof, inserted and welded or sealed with this.
- the covering film 18 has a grip tab 22 extending radially beyond the edge 17 of the container opening 15, by means of which the covering film 18 can be easily removed from the edge 17 of the container opening 15 after removal of the screw cap or screw cap 20.
- the container body 11 and the covering film 18 preferably consist of an aluminum laminate with at least one sealing layer and optionally at least one barrier layer, in particular SiO 2 , ethylvinyl alcohol or a metal foil.
- the laminate of the container body 11 should also be sealable, in particular, because along the upper and lower peripheral edge of the container body 11, the lid device or the annular shoulder thereof on the one hand and the floor 13 on the other hand should be sealable.
- Fig. 2 differs from the one after Fig. 1 only in that the lid 20 can be snapped onto the neck 19, in the direction of the arrow 23.
- the removal of the lid 20 is of course in the opposite direction.
- the cover 20 has a peripheral edge with a radially inwardly extending annular projection 24, which corresponds to a radially outwardly extending annular projection 25 in the region of the edge 17 of the container opening 15.
- FIGS. 3a-3e show a can-like container 10, wherein the attachment of a lid device 12 according to the invention is shown in consequence of the corresponding steps.
- Fig. 3a is sealed to the upper peripheral edge 14 of the container body 11, an annular shoulder 16 together with the neck 19, on the outside. It then creates the configuration according to Fig. 3b .
- a cover sheet 18 with gripping tab 22 is sealed onto the opening edge 17 delimiting the container opening 15 (see FIG Fig. 3c and 3d ).
