Description

EMBALLAGE NOTAMMENT POUR PRODUIT ALIMENTAIRE COMPORTANT UN OPERCULE SOUPLE SURMONTE D'UN COUVERCLE.
La présente invention concerne un emballage destiné à contenir au moins un article, tel qu'un produit alimentaire, du type comportant un opercule souple surmonté d'un couvercle scellé sur cet opercule.
Il est connu de conditionner des fromages dans une enveloppe de protection souple, typiquement en forme de cloche, qui est montée sur un socle rigide et qui présente des bandes d'arrachement conçues pour faciliter l'ouverture de l'enveloppe, comme décrit dans le document FR-A-2 549 011. Les bandes d'arrachement se croisent au centre du sommet de l'enveloppe et elles se terminent par des languettes de préhension permettant d'enlever complètement ces bandes de l'enveloppe et de rabattre ensuite vers l'extérieur des secteurs d'enveloppe régulièrement réparties sur la circonférence de celle-ci, afin d'accéder au fromage.
Un inconvénient de ce type de conditionnement réside notamment dans la complexité de sa structure et, par conséquent, dans son coût de fabrication élevé.
Il est également connu de conditionner des portions individuelles de fromage dans des emballages qui comportent un opercule souple et pelable formant fond et une coque creuse semi-rigide qui forme un couvercle et qui est scellée par son rebord périphérique sur cet opercule.
Un inconvénient majeur de ce dernier type d'emballages est que le détachement de l'opercule sur lequel est scellée la coque peut être malaisé, pour accéder au fromage logé à l'intérieur.
Un but de la présente invention est de proposer un emballage destiné à contenir au moins un article, tel qu'un produit alimentaire, ledit emballage comportant un opercule souple formant fond et un couvercle délimitant avec ledit opercule une cavité adaptée pour recevoir ledit article, ledit couvercle étant plus rigide que ledit opercule et comportant un rebord périphérique scellé sur une périphérie dudit opercule dans une position de fermeture dudit emballage, qui remédie aux inconvénients précités. A cet effet, un emballage selon l'invention est tel que ledit couvercle est apte à être découpé en au moins deux secteurs respectivement pourvus de moyens de préhension prolongeant ledit rebord, lors d'une traction exercée sur l'un desdits moyens de préhension en direction d'une zone dudit rebord opposée à ce moyen de préhension tout en plaquant l'autre moyen de préhension sur ledit opercule, de sorte à détacher dudit opercule le secteur dont le moyen de préhension est soumis à cette traction pour amener l'emballage dans une position d'ouverture partielle.
On notera que ce couvercle est tel que l'effort de traction précité permet de le découper en formant un secteur que l'on désolidarise d'avec l'opercule et que l'on sépare nettement de l'autre secteur, de telle manière que le secteur ainsi détaché libère ainsi un espace d'accès suffisant à la cavité de l'emballage qui permet de saisir l'intégralité de l'article qu'il renferme. On notera également que ce couvercle selon l'invention permet à l'utilisateur d'accéder aisément à l'article emballé sans avoir à le saisir avec les doigts.
Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, ledit couvercle peut être formé d'un seul tenant, étant de type coque creuse monobloc. Avantageusement, ledit couvercle peut être formé d'un matériau thermoplastique de type semi-rigide apte à permettre un déchirement de sa paroi selon une ligne sensiblement droite.
De préférence, ledit matériau thermoplastique est formé d'un film monocouche ou multicouches qui peut être par exemple à base de polystyrène expansé ou non et/ou de polypropylène expansé ou non et/ou de polyéthylène, et qui peut comprendre en outre optionnellement une couche intercalaire à base d'un copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique.
A titre encore plus préférentiel, ledit matériau thermoplastique est formé d'un film monocouche à base de polystyrène expansé ou non. En variante, ledit matériau thermoplastique peut être choisi dans le groupe constitué par les multicouches polystyrène / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polystyrène (PS/EVOH/PS), polypropylène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polyéthylène (XPP/EVOH/PE), polypropylène expansé / polyéthylène (XPP/PE), polypropylène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polypropylène (XPP/EVOH/PP), polypropylène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polystyrène (XPP/EVOH/PS), polypropylène expansé / polypropylène (XPP/PP), polypropylène expansé / polystyrène (XPP/PS), polystyrène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polyéthylène (XPS/EVOH/PE), polystyrène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polypropylène (XPS/EVOH/PP), polystyrène expansé / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polystyrène (XPS/EVOH/PS), polystyrène expansé / polypropylène (XPS/PP), polystyrène expansé / polystyrène (XPS/PS), polystyrène expansé / polyéthylène (XPS/PE), polystyrène / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polyéthylène (PS/EVOH/PE), polystyrène / copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique / polypropylène (PS/EVOH/PP), polystyrène / polyéthylène (PS/PE), polystyrène / polypropylène (PS/PP), polystyrène / polystyrène (PS/PS).
Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, ledit couvercle est avantageusement dépourvu de portion pliable ou repliable pour l'obtention de ladite position d'ouverture. Selon une autre caractéristique préférentielle de l'invention, ledit couvercle peut comporter deux moyens de préhension adjacents et symétriques l'un de l'autre par rapport à un plan médian dudit couvercle, pour l'obtention d'une paire desdits secteurs sensiblement identiques.
On procède à l'ouverture partielle de l'emballage en tirant sur l'un des deux moyens de préhension vers le sommet du couvercle tout en appuyant sur l'autre moyen de préhension selon une direction opposée audit sommet, de manière à exercer une contrainte de type cisaillement sur ledit couvercle qui procure le découpage précité de ce dernier en ces deux secteurs. Selon un mode particulier de réalisation de l'invention, au moins une ligne de pré-découpe, par exemple constituée d'une nervure ou dépression de moindre résistance au déchirement, est formée dans ledit couvercle entre lesdits moyens de préhension et ladite zone opposée dudit rebord, pour la formation via ladite traction desdits secteurs de couvercle, respectivement de part et d'autre de ladite ligne de pré-découpe.
On notera que ladite ligne de pré-découpe n'est pas assimilable à une bande d'arrachement du type de celles du document FR-A-
2 549 011 précité, du fait qu'elle n'est pas destinée à être arrachée du couvercle mais seulement apte à permettre le déchirement de ce dernier selon cette ligne.
Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, chacun desdits moyens de préhension peut être constitué d'une languette formée d'un seul tenant avec ledit rebord et s'étendant au-delà de ce dernier.
On notera que ces languettes peuvent présenter, outre la fonction de préhension précitée pour l'ouverture de l'emballage, une fonction ludique, par exemple en associant une forme particulière de languettes à celle du couvercle (e.g. des languettes en forme d'oreilles pour un couvercle en forme de tête d'animal, en forme de feuilles pour un couvercle en forme de fruit ou légume, en forme de clés pour un couvercle en forme de coffret, etc.).
Avantageusement, ladite zone opposée dudit rebord de couvercle peut former, dans ladite position d'ouverture, une articulation pour le secteur de couvercle qui est détaché dudit opercule et séparé de l'autre secteur.
Egalement avantageusement, ledit emballage est utilisable pour contenir une portion individuelle de fromage qui épouse les parois dudit opercule et dudit couvercle, et ledit couvercle peut être sensiblement en forme de calotte (e.g. calotte de forme circulaire ou ovale) et est apte à former une paire desdits secteurs qui sont chacun en forme de demi-calotte.
On notera toutefois que l'emballage selon l'invention est utilisable d'une manière générale pour contenir tout article de type semi-rigide, rigide ou même friable, qu'il adhère ou non à Ia paroi dudit couvercle et, par exemple, d'autres produits alimentaires tels que du chocolat ou des salaisons en portions individuelles, ou même des objets tels des bijoux ou des jouets. On notera également que ledit couvercle peut présenter une géométrie autre, par exemple rectangulaire ou carrée à coins arrondis, hexagonale, octogonale, etc.
D'autres caractéristiques, avantages et détails de la présente invention ressortiront à la lecture de la description suivante de plusieurs exemples de réalisation de l'invention, donnés à titre illustratif et non limitatif, ladite description étant réalisée en référence avec les dessins joints, parmi lesquels : la figure 1 est une vue de dessus d'un emballage selon un exemple de réalisation de l'invention avant son remplissage et sa fermeture par un opercule, la figure 2 est une vue de côté de l'emballage de la figure 1 , la figure 3 est une vue schématique en coupe de l'emballage des figures 1 et 2 après son remplissage et sa fermeture par cet opercule, la figure 4 est une vue en perspective de ce même emballage rempli et fermé, son couvercle étant illustré dans une position de fermeture, la figure 5 est une vue en perspective de l'emballage de la figure 4 dans laquelle le couvercle est illustré dans une position de début d'ouverture, et la figure 6 est une vue en perspective de l'emballage de la figure 5 dans laquelle le couvercle est illustré dans une position d'ouverture partielle permettant d'accéder à son contenu.
L'emballage 1 illustré aux figures 1 à 4 comporte un opercule
2 souple et pelable formant fond et un couvercle 3 de type coque semi-rigide monobloc qui délimite avec l'opercule 2 une cavité adaptée pour recevoir un article 4, tel qu'une portion individuelle d'un produit alimentaire (e.g. du fromage, à titre non limitatif), et qui présente dans cet exemple de réalisation une forme de calotte sensiblement hémisphérique. Le couvercle 3 comporte un rebord périphérique plan 5 (circulaire dans cet exemple) qui est scellé sur la périphérie de l'opercule 2, dans la position de fermeture de l'emballage 1 qui est illustrée aux figures 3 et 4. Le rebord 5 du couvercle 3 se prolonge radialement vers l'extérieur et de manière par exemple coplanaire par deux moyens de préhension 6 et 7 qui sont de type languettes souples en forme de pattes et qui sont formés à proximité immédiate l'un de l'autre, de part et d'autre d'une ligne de pré-découpe 8 formée de manière sensiblement diamétrale dans le couvercle 3.
La ligne de pré-découpe 8 est par exemple constituée d'une nervure ou dépression de moindre résistance au déchirement qui s'étend ainsi sur un plan transversal médian du couvercle 3, d'une zone 8a du rebord 5 à la zone diamétralement opposée 8b de ce dernier.
Cette ligne de pré-découpe 8 permet de découper par cisaillement le couvercle 3 en deux secteurs identiques 3a et 3b (en forme de demi-calottes dans cet exemple de réalisation) qui sont respectivement pourvus des deux moyens de préhension 6 et 7. A cet effet, l'utilisateur (e.g. le consommateur du produit alimentaire 4 contenu dans l'emballage 1 ) saisit de ses doigts les moyens de préhension 6 et 7 puis exerce une traction sur l'un d'entre eux 6 en direction de la zone opposée 8b du rebord 5 (voir flèche A à la figure 5) tout en plaquant l'autre moyen de préhension 7 sur l'opercule 2 (voir flèche B à la figure 5), de sorte à détacher de l'opercule 2 le secteur 3a dont le moyen de préhension 6 est soumis à cette traction pour amener l'emballage 1 dans la position d'ouverture partielle de la figure 6. Dans cette position d'ouverture partielle, on voit que le secteur 3a détaché de l'opercule 2 par traction est ainsi soulevé et peut demeurer relié à l'opercule 2 par la zone opposée 8b du rebord 5 formant articulation.
Comme illustré aux figures 5 et 6, l'utilisateur découpe ainsi le couvercle 3 de manière parfaitement droite et nette le long de la ligne de prédécoupe 8 et peut ainsi facilement accéder au contenu 4 de l'emballage sans endommager ni faire tomber ce contenu 4. On notera que le couvercle 3 de l'emballage 1 selon l'invention est à base d'un matériau plastique semi-rigide, tel qu'un film monocouche ou multicouches à base d'un ou de plusieurs polymères thermoplastiques, matériau conçu pour permettre un découpage facile, net et droit du couvercle 3 par l'effet de cisaillement précité.
On notera également que le couvercle 3 de l'emballage 2 selon l'invention pourrait être dépourvu de toute ligne ou amorce de prédécoupe 8, selon une variante de réalisation des figures 4 à 6, la découpe du couvercle 3 pouvant dans ce cas être néanmoins réalisée de façon nette et plus ou moins droite, lors de ladite traction des moyens de préhension 6 et 7.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1) Emballage (1) destiné à contenir au moins un article (4), tel qu'un produit alimentaire, ledit emballage comportant un opercule souple (2) formant fond et un couvercle (3) délimitant avec ledit opercule une cavité adaptée pour recevoir ledit article, ledit couvercle étant plus rigide que ledit opercule et comportant un rebord périphérique (5) scellé sur une périphérie dudit opercule dans une position de fermeture dudit emballage, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle est apte à être découpé en au moins deux secteurs (3a et 3b) respectivement pourvus de moyens de préhension (6 et 7) prolongeant ledit rebord, lors d'une traction exercée sur l'un desdits moyens de préhension (6) en direction d'une zone (8b) dudit rebord opposée à ce moyen de préhension (6) tout en plaquant l'autre moyen de préhension (7) sur ledit opercule, de sorte à détacher dudit opercule le secteur (3a) dont le moyen de préhension (6) est soumis à cette traction pour amener remballage dans une position d'ouverture partielle.
2) Emballage (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle (3) est formé d'un seul tenant.
3) Emballage (1) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle (3) est formé d'un matériau thermoplastique de type semi-rigide apte à permettre un déchirement de sa paroi selon une ligne sensiblement droite.
4) Emballage (1) selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que ledit matériau thermoplastique est formé d'un film monocouche ou multicouches qui est à base de polystyrène expansé ou non et/ou de polypropylène expansé ou non et/ou de polyéthylène, et qui comprend en outre optionnellement une couche intercalaire à base d'un copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool vinylique. 5) Emballage (1 ) selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle (3) est dépourvu de portion repliable pour l'obtention de ladite position d'ouverture.
6) Emballage (1) selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle (3) comporte deux moyens de préhension (6 et 7) adjacents et symétriques l'un de l'autre par rapport à un plan médian dudit couvercle, pour l'obtention d'une paire desdits secteurs (3a et 3b) sensiblement identiques.
7) Emballage (1) selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une ligne de pré-découpe (8), par exemple constituée d'une nervure ou dépression de moindre résistance au déchirement, est formée dans ledit couvercle (3) entre lesdits moyens de préhension (6 et 7) et ladite zone opposée (8a) dudit rebord (5), pour la formation via ladite traction desdits secteurs de couvercle (3a et 3b), respectivement de part et d'autre de ladite ligne de pré-découpe.
8) Emballage (1 ) selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que chacun desdits moyens de préhension (6 et 7) est constitué d'une languette formée d'un seul tenant avec ledit rebord (5) et s'étendant au-delà de ce dernier.
9) Emballage (1 ) selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ladite zone opposée (8b) dudit rebord forme, dans ladite position d'ouverture, une articulation pour ledit secteur de couvercle (3a) qui est détaché dudit opercule (2) et séparé de l'autre secteur (3b).
10) Emballage (1) selon une des revendications précédentes, ledit emballage étant utilisable pour contenir une portion individuelle de fromage (4) qui épouse les parois dudit opercule (2) et dudit couvercle (3), caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle est sensiblement en forme de calotte et est apte à former une paire desdits secteurs (3a et 3b) qui sont chacun en forme de demi-calotte.
