Description

  • La présente invention a trait à une boîte d'allure parallélépipédique, constituant un emballage notamment pour produits alimentaires tels que des pâtisseries. Dans les boulangeries-pâtisseries traditionnelles, les emballages sont souvent constitués à partir d'un flan en carton prédécoupé et prérainé de telle sorte qu'il puisse être monté volumiquement par pliage en vue de constituer l'emballage final. Ces emballages, adaptés lorsque le client choisit une pâtisserie exposée, remplissent une simple fonction d'aide au transport et ne sont pas appropriés à la distribution moderne qui implique un préemballage assurant une fonction supplémentaire de présentation du produit à travers l'emballage.
  • C'est la raison pour laquelle il a été développé dans le passé des boîtes au moins partiellement réalisées en matériau plastique transparent, de manière à permettre aux clients de voir le produit avant achat. Ces boîtes sont adaptées aux nouvelles formes de distribution dans les grands magasins et supermarchés, impliquant d'une part que le produit puisse être préemballé avant exposition, et qu'il reste d'autre part constamment visible lors de la phase de présentation pour que le consommateur puisse effectuer son choix.
  • Il existe ainsi des boîtes comportant un fond en carton et un couvercle transparent distincts, le fond et le couvercle comportant des reliefs/évidements permettant leur association de façon à créer un volume cohérent.
  • Selon d'autres configurations, le boîtier est constitué de trois éléments séparés, un fond et une couronne en carton munis le cas échéant de fenêtres /évidements latéraux, et un couvercle en matériau plastique transparent ou translucide dont les parois présentent des bossages prévus pour s'emboîter dans lesdits évidements.
  • Est également connu du document DE 20 2007 017 298 U1 , un boîtier constitué d'une seule pièce dans un matériau plastique transparent. Cette pièce comporte une partie inférieure reliée à une partie supérieure par l'intermédiaire d'une zone jouant le rôle de charnière.
  • La présente invention propose une configuration originale ne nécessitant pas d'assemblage de pièces distinctes pour former le fond et le couvercle, ce qui conduit notamment à faciliter l'opération d'emballage du produit.
  • La boîte d'allure parallélépipédique de l'invention comprend classiquement un corps auquel est articulé un couvercle le long d'une arête commune formant charnière, ledit corps et le couvercle présentant une forme homologue inversée avec un fond plat, un côté d'allure rectangulaire et des côtés latéraux triangulaires, la charnière étant constituée par l'arête commune au côté d'allure rectangulaire du corps et au fond du couvercle. Cette boîte se caractérise à titre principal en ce qu'un bandeau à trois pans disposés en U longeant trois côtés incluant celui qui comporte la charnière est placé à l'intérieur du corps.
  • Cette boîte est d'une très grande simplicité de mise en oeuvre, puisqu'il est seulement nécessaire de disposer le bandeau en U à l'intérieur du fond avant de refermer le couvercle. Sur un plan technique, le bandeau intérieur participe uniquement à une fonction de rigidification et non pas, à l'instar des configurations de l'art antérieur notamment munies de couronnes périphériques, à la fixation des différents composants de la boîte par le jeu des évidements/bossages. Ces derniers diminuaient d'ailleurs la tenue mécanique des boîtes en réduisant leur rigidité du fait de l'existence des évidements, orifices, fenêtres etc. utilisés pour l'assemblage des éléments de la boîte entre eux.
  • En fait, les deux éléments de la boîte de l'invention, le boîtier extérieur et le bandeau, ne présentent individuellement pas une tenue mécanique suffisante à garantir une quelconque rigidité : c'est leurs configurations respectives et leur agencement relatif qui permet un fonctionnement autoportant de l'un par rapport à l'autre, conférant à l'ensemble une tenue mécanique adéquate.
  • Dans l'invention, le corps et le couvercle sont selon une possibilité formés dans un matériau plastique transparent, le bandeau étant prévu en carton. Dans cette hypothèse, le bandeau en carton peut additionnellement remplir une fonction esthétique notamment en le décorant par impression.
  • Il est à noter que, selon une configuration possible, le pan central du bandeau est d'allure trapézoïdale, le petit côté du trapèze reposant sur le fond du corps. En pratique, cela conduit à un léger évasement vers le haut du volume enclos par le bandeau.
  • Par ailleurs, et selon une possibilité additionnelle, les pans latéraux du bandeau sont d'allure rectangulaire, avec une extrémité libre biseautée vers le haut sur au moins une partie de sa hauteur d'un angle compris entre 7° et 12°. Le but est d'adapter la forme du bandeau à celle du couvercle du boîtier, en vue d'éviter tout obstacle à la fermeture dudit couvercle.
  • Selon une configuration possible, des murets parallèles aux côtés latéraux équipent le fond du corps au voisinage d'un rebord dudit corps situé en vis à vis du côté portant la charnière, lesdits murets s'élevant en légère pente incurvée à partir du fond dans la zone de fermeture du couvercle sur le corps. De préférence, lesdits murets sont reliés entre eux par une portion centrale courant parallèlement au côté avant du corps.
  • Selon l'invention, le corps comporte, en vis à vis du côté comprenant la charnière, un rebord extérieur permettant l'accrochage d'un rebord prolongeant le côté du couvercle opposé au premier côté à double charnière.
  • Plus précisément, selon une configuration possible, le rebord extérieur du corps comporte une première surface d'allure perpendiculaire au fond prolongée par une jupe extérieure d'allure perpendiculaire à ce dernier. Le rebord du couvercle est quant à lui configuré en une gouttière orientée, en position de fermeture du couvercle, de manière à pouvoir loger la jupe extérieure du rebord du corps, le bord libre de la gouttière étant replié pour se clipser sous ladite jupe.
  • D'autres modes de fermeture, par exemple par simple pression, sont bien entendu possibles.
  • Le corps et le couvercle sont thermoformés dans une unique feuille en plastique. Cette feuille, d'un seul tenant, présente un rainage délimitant une ligne de séparation entre le fond et le couvercle, qui constitue en pratique la charnière de la boîte de l'invention. Pour en revenir à l'apport mécanique du bandeau, il est à noter que, lors du thermoformage, la feuille de plastique s'amincit notamment dans les angles des deux volumes thermoformés, à savoir le corps et le couvercle. Le bandeau de carton, comportant des pans latéraux reliant les coins, améliore donc la tenue mécanique précisément dans les endroits susceptibles d'être mécaniquement le plus affaibli du boîtier.
  • La mise en oeuvre de l'invention se fait de la manière suivante : lorsque le boîtier thermoformé constitué du corps et du couvercle est disposée ouvert, on introduit le bandeau, lui-même constitué d'un flan d'allure rectangulaire à deux rainages transversaux permettant de le conformer en U et de le disposer ensuite parallèlement aux côtés latéraux triangulaires et au côté arrière du corps, avant de procéder à une rotation autour de la charnière pour refermer le couvercle par simple pression. La fermeture s'effectue avec des moyens qui sont exclusivement situés dans la feuille de plastique. Le carton du bandeau, placé à cet endroit, peut donc jouer son rôle de rigidification dans sa pleine mesure.
  • L'un des avantages de l'invention réside dans le fait que, le boîtier étant thermoformable, on peut tirer profit des caractéristiques propres à cette technologie : coût réduit, grande variabilité dans la conception des formes (bossages, murets...), utilisation d'une feuille plastique transparente, configuration telle que les boîtiers dépliés sont empilables du fait de l'existence de dépouilles et n'occupent qu'un volume réduit etc...
  • De même, le carton est livré à plat, ne nécessitant qu'un volume de stockage réduit, et il est imprimable selon les besoins des utilisateurs finaux à des fins informatives, publicitaires, etc...
  • L'invention va à présent être décrite plus en détail, en référence aux figures annexées, pour lesquelles :
    • la figure 1 est une vue en perspective de la boîte en position ouverte, sans le bandeau ;
    • la figure 2 représente, toujours en vue perspective, la boîte de la figure 1 selon un autre angle d'incidence ;
    • la figure 3 montre, en vue perspective, le bandeau ;
    • la figure 4 est une vue latérale de la boîte ouverte avec le bandeau ;
    • la figure 5 représente en perspective la boîte contenant le bandeau ; et
    • la figure 6 est une vue en section d'un détail agrandi des moyens de fermeture du couvercle sur le fond.
  • En référence d'abord aux figures 1 et 2, la coque est principalement constituée d'un corps (1) et d'un couvercle (2) présentant une forme homologue, les deux étant articulés à une arête supérieure (3) du côté arrière (7) du corps (1) constituant une charnière. Le côté (4) du couvercle (2) opposé à la charnière (3) comporte, dans sa partie inférieure, des moyens de fixation au corps (1) (voir ci-après en détail).
  • Les côtés latéraux (5, 6) du couvercle (2) sont en l'occurrence d'allure triangulaire, et couvrent la totalité des faces latérales de la boîte en association avec les côtés latéraux (8,9) triangulaires du corps (1). Ces côtés triangulaires ont notamment pour objectif de rigidifier le corps (1) et le couvercle (2) dans une direction perpendiculaire à la charnière (3).
  • Le bandeau (10), dont la forme est représentée en figure 3, présente des dimensions lui permettant d'être intégré et contenu à l'intérieur du boîtier, en étant disposé au voisinage des faces latérales et arrière de la boîte lorsqu'elle est fermée. Il est à noter que le pan central (11) du bandeau est trapézoïdal, les arêtes de liaison avec les pans latéraux (12,13) étant de préférence orientées suivant un angle compris entre 2° et 8°, typiquement 4°, le grand côté du trapèze étant constitué de la bordure supérieure du pan central (11).
  • Par ailleurs, les extrémités libres des pans latéraux (12,13) sont biseautées en (14, 15) vers le haut à partir d'un niveau correspondant sensiblement à la hauteur du rebord (16) situé à l'avant du corps (1), d'un angle par exemple de l'ordre de 9°, de manière à permettre la fermeture du couvercle (2) qui comporte un face avant (4) inclinée comme cela ressort de la figure 4. Des arêtes d'extrémité droites, c'est à dire d'allure verticale, ne permettraient en effet pas la fermeture du couvercle (2).
  • De préférence, comme on l'a mentionné auparavant, le bandeau (10) est en carton, alors que le reste de la coque formée du couvercle (2) et du corps (1) est prévu en matière plastique, par exemple transparente.
  • Deux murets (18, 19) sont prévus pour maintenir les pans latéraux (12, 13) du bandeau (10) parallèles aux faces latérales du boîtier, comme cela apparaît en figure 5. Lesdits murets (18, 19) font saillie à partir du fond du corps (1), s'élevant en pente douce en direction du rebord (16) placé à l'avant du corps (1). Ils sont reliés par une portion centrale (17) se développant parallèlement audit rebord (16). Cette portion (17) assure notamment une fonction de rigidification du corps (1) dans la direction de la charnière (3).
  • La boîte de l'invention, constituée du corps (1) et du couvercle (2), est fabriquée par thermoformage dans une unique feuille en matériau plastique par exemple transparent. La charnière (3) séparant le côté (7) du corps (1) et le couvercle (2) est constituée d'un rainage obtenu par matriçage, qui affaiblit l'épaisseur du plastique selon une ligne transversale, et permet de réaliser une rotation en vue de la fermeture du couvercle (2). Une fois cette rotation effectuée, la boite plastique se retrouve dans la position apparaissant partiellement en figure 6, couvercle (2) fermé sur et clipsé au corps (1). Les moyens de fermeture sont réalisés à l'aide de profils particuliers des rebords extérieurs d'une part du corps (1), et d'autre part du côté (4) du couvercle (2).
  • Ainsi qu'il apparaît plus en détail en figure 6, le rebord (16) du corps (1) est surmonté d'une collerette comprenant une première surface (20) d'allure parallèle au fond du corps (1) et se prolongeant en une jupe externe (21) d'allure perpendiculaire à ce fond.
  • Le rebord du couvercle (2), situé dans le prolongement du côté (4), comporte une gouttière (22) se terminant, vers son bord libre, par un pan (23) qui se replie en direction de la jupe (21). Ce pan (23) permet de réaliser un clipsage de la gouttière (22) car il remonte vers la jupe (21).
  • Il est à noter que ce pan (23) peut, au moins en partie, être configuré en U, de manière à comprendre un élément de préhension facilitant la manipulation du couvercle (2) notamment lors de l'ouverture du couvercle (2).
  • L'exemple de configuration de la boîte tel qu'illustré aux différentes figures n'est pas exhaustif de la présente invention. Celle-ci englobe au contraire des variantes de formes et de configurations qui sont à la portée de l'homme de l'art.

Claims (9)

  1. Boîte d'allure parallélépipédique comportant un corps (1) auquel est articulé un couvercle (2) le long d'une arête commune (3) formant charnière, ledit corps (1) et le couvercle (2) présentant une forme homologue inversée avec un fond plat, un côté d'allure rectangulaire (7, 4) et des côtés latéraux triangulaires (5, 6 ; 8, 9), ladite charnière étant constituée par l'arête commune (3) au côté (7) d'allure rectangulaire du corps (1) et au fond du couvercle (2), caractérisée en ce qu'un bandeau (10) à trois pans (11, 12, 13) disposés en U longeant trois côtés incluant celui qui comporte la charnière (3) est placé à l'intérieur du corps (1).
  2. Boîte selon la revendication précédente, caractérisée en ce que le corps (1) et le couvercle (2) sont formés dans un matériau plastique transparent, le bandeau (10) étant prévu en carton.
  3. Boîte selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que le pan central (11) du bandeau est d'allure trapézoïdale, le petit côté du trapèze reposant sur le fond du corps (1).
  4. Boîte selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que les pans latéraux (12, 13) du bandeau sont d'allure rectangulaire, avec une extrémité libre (14, 15) biseautée vers le haut sur au moins une partie de sa hauteur d'un angle compris entre 7° et 12°.
  5. Boîte selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que des murets (18, 19) parallèles aux côtés latéraux (8, 9) équipent le fond du corps (1) au voisinage d'une bordure (16) dudit corps (1) située en vis à vis du côté (7) portant la charnière (3), lesdits murets (18, 19) s'élevant en légère pente incurvée à partir du fond dans la zone de fermeture du couvercle (2) sur le corps (1) au niveau de ladite bordure (16).
  6. Boîte selon la revendication précédente, caractérisée en ce que lesdits murets (18, 19) sont reliés entre eux par une portion centrale (17) courant parallèlement à ladite bordure (16) et à proximité de celle-ci.
  7. Boîte selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que le corps (1) comporte, en vis à vis du côté (7) comprenant la charnière (3), un rebord extérieur (20, 21) permettant l'accrochage d'un rebord (22, 23) prolongeant le côté (4) du couvercle (2).
  8. Boîte selon la revendication précédente, caractérisée en ce que le rebord extérieur du fond (1) comporte une première surface (20) d'allure perpendiculaire au fond prolongée par une jupe extérieure (21) d'allure perpendiculaire à ce dernier, le rebord du couvercle (2) étant configuré en une gouttière (22) orientée, en position de fermeture du couvercle (2), de manière à pouvoir loger la jupe extérieure (21) du rebord du fond (1), le bord libre (23) de la gouttière (22) étant replié pour se clipser sous ladite jupe (21).
  9. Boîte selon la revendication précédente, caractérisée en ce que le corps (1) et le couvercle (2) sont thermoformés dans une unique feuille en plastique.
