Abstract

The garment i.e. ski trousers (1), has an elastically stretchable element e.g. rear skirt (19), integrated to authorize displacement of a safety harness (2) relative to a portion of the garment in case of traction on the harness, while correctly positioning the harness and the portion relative to each other in absence of traction. Description

TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to the field of personal safety equipment, such as those intended to stop a fall. More specifically, it relates to a garment provided with a harness.

PRIOR TECHNIQUES

Some sports activities, such as activities in the high mountains, involve a real risk of falling or an accident that can lead to rescue using winching or hoisting techniques. The same is true of certain operations carried out by firefighters or other professionals practicing a risky occupation. When we know in advance that a harness will be useful for winching, we take one with us, but an accident is always an unforeseen event. Similarly, in the mountains, one can find oneself in difficulty in a steep place where the risk of falling is important but where one had not initially planned to pass. In such circumstances, there is often no harness, a harness having the disadvantage of being bulky when it comes to additional equipment.

To remedy this, it has already been imagined to integrate a harness to a garment. For example, each of the documents CA-2,404,214 and US-5,136,724 offers a firefighter's pants in which is mounted a harness. It should be noted, however, that it is difficult to reconcile the specificities of a garment and the search for clothing with the requirements that a harness must meet in terms of job security. In particular, a garment must be comfortable and as easy as possible to pass or remove. In addition, a harness must be designed taking into account the dynamic behavior of a body undergoing shock through this harness. In addition, particular attention must be paid to the correct positioning of the harness on the body of the user.

In case of pulling upwards on a harness integrated into pants as it has been proposed for the moment, these pants are driven by the harness against the crotch of the user. This crotch is compressed and can be bruised. Meanwhile, the seams of the pants are subject to solicitations likely to yield them.

It follows from the above that the integration of a harness to a garment has specific difficulties. However, this integration must affect as little as possible to the proper functioning of the harness.

In the document DE-87 14 979 U , it is described a waterproof rescue pants which is integrated a harness. This harness passes in bystanders who mate it to the rescue pants and who are elastic for an undetermined reason. If the harness is out of one or more of these passersby, the whole can be unbalanced in a dangerous way.

The invention aims at least to improve the operation of a harness integrated in a garment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

According to the invention, this object is achieved through a garment provided with a harness comprising a belt. At least one elastically stretchable element is integrated into this garment so as to allow a movement of the harness with respect to at least a portion of the garment in case of traction on the harness, while correctly positioning the harness and at least this portion of the garment. relative to each other in the absence of such traction.

At least a portion of the garment and the harness can move relative to each other to some extent and are thus somehow decoupled when pulled on the harness. Therefore, such traction is transmitted to the body of the user essentially by this harness, and little, if any, through the garment, which does not compress certain parts of the body of the user, nor is it subject to constraints that may tear it apart.

In addition, the movement of the harness and, more generally, its operation are not hindered by the garment.

The elastically stretchable element may be one of the textile pieces sewn together or otherwise assembled to form the garment itself, that is to say one of the textile parts constituting this garment, in which case it may be made of fabric commonly called " stretch.

However, it may be advantageous especially in terms of proper operation of the harness in case of a fall that it is otherwise. In particular, said elastically stretchable element may be an elastically stretchable connection uniting the harness and the garment so as to allow movement of the harness relative to the garment in case of traction on the harness, while correctly positioning the harness and the garment. relative to each other in the absence of such traction.

Advantageously, the garment has a left leg, a right leg and an extended waist down to these left and right legs. It can therefore be including pants, shorts or a combination.

Preferably, the elastically stretchable element unites the waistband of the harness to the size of the garment.

When this is the case, the elastically stretchable element can join the back of the waist of the garment to the back of the harness belt, which is advantageous.

In the normal position of use, the rear of the harness belt is preferably upwardly shifted with respect to the size of the garment. In this way, the belt of the harness can be correctly positioned around the hips of the user, without this affecting the comfort and aesthetics of the garment.

Advantageously, the elastically stretchable element comprises a skirt which is made of an elastically stretchable textile product and which comprises a lower portion, an upper portion, and an intermediate portion connecting these lower portions and superior to each other, one of said lower and upper portions and the other portion of these upper and lower portions respectively being secured to the size of the garment and the belt of the harness. Such a skirt behaves like a piece of clothing and fits perfectly to the garment as if it were part of it. In particular, it is intended to cover the kidneys of the user and can therefore protect them from bad weather in addition to performing its primary function.

The harness can be selected from several different types of harnesses. For example, it can be chosen from the harnesses with a working belt. The belt of such a harness may be provided with a front buckle or other equivalent means for closing or even adjustment in length.

The front portion of the belt of the harness may also consist of two lugs of which a snap karabiner is intended to join the respective ends in the form of a loop, so as to close the belt while allowing the attachment of a rope. However, such a carabiner can be incorrectly installed, especially if the user is not experienced in the use of harnesses. In other words, the use of a harness whose belt is intended to be closed by a carabiner for attaching a rope carries a risk.

Also, preferably, a front portion of the harness belt forms an attachment strap, at least a portion of the attachment strap can be rectified from a bent configuration to a horizontally deployed configuration in which the belt of the harness harness delimits a larger passage than when at least said portion of the attachment bridge is in its curved configuration. When the trigger guard is in its deployed configuration, the harness belt can easily pass a user's hips and the garment can be easily donned. When the trigger guard is in its bent configuration or user-sized fit configuration, the harness belt is held properly positioned on that user.

The bridge may have two ends sewn to another constituent element of the belt, as in the example described below. It can also be in the form of a loop that connects two portions offset transversely of the harness and which can bring these two portions together when an upward pull is exerted on an upper segment of this loop, so as to make the latter narrower by lengthening it upwards.

Advantageously, the garment has a front opening and a closing device of this opening, where the size of the garment stops and whose closure brings at least said portion of the bridge in its curved configuration. In other words, the adjustment of the harness belt on the user can simply result from the closure of the front opening of the garment.

Preferably, the harness comprises a strong left loop for the passage of a lower limb of the user, a strong resistant loop for the passage of the other lower limb of the user, a flexible and resistant left link connecting the loop left at the harness belt and a flexible and resistant right link connecting the right buckle to the harness belt.

When this is the case, the garment may comprise a right guide for the right link and a left guide for the left link, these left and right guides being disposed on either side of said opening so as to bring at least said portion of the fastening bridge in its curved configuration when closing said opening, being brought closer to each other by this closure. The fact that the closing of the opening brings the bridge into its curved configuration may result from the presence and the particular arrangement of left and right guides, which also have the advantage of not preventing a movement of the harness relative to the clothing.

Preferably, the garment has two elastic stretchable links, namely a left stretchable link, which links the left loop of the harness to the left leg of the garment, and a straight stretchable link, which links the right loop of the harness to the right leg of the garment. clothing. With this, the left and right loops of the harness can be held in the legs of the garment, that is to say in their correct positions.

Advantageously, the left stretchable link comprises a loop through which the left loop of the harness passes, the right stretchable link comprising a loop through which the right loop of the harness passes.

Preferably, the garment comprises an outer textile layer and an inner liner, between which are the left and right loops of the harness. In this way, the buckles of the harness are hidden. They can not irritate the user who, in addition, is not likely to cling to it when putting on or taking off the garment.

Preferably, said left guide comprises the edge of a hole through which said left link passes through said liner, said straight guide having the edge of a hole through which said straight link passes through said liner. This is a design with the advantage of being particularly simple, economical and compact.

The garment may include, or at least include, ski pants.

POSSIBLE WAYS OF REALIZING THE INVENTION

On the figure 1 is represented the upper portion of a ski pants 1, which is integrated a shoulder harness or harness 2. The pants 1 has several successive layers, namely an outer fabric 3 and a liner 4. Between this textile 3 and this lining 4 may be provided one or more other layers, one of which may in particular fulfill a function of thermal insulation.

As can be seen at figure 2 , an opening or fly 5 is provided on the front of the pants 1, the upper edge of which it extends downwards to the crotch. Closure means of this fly 5 comprise a zipper 6, and a row of three snaps 7 arranged at the waist 8 of the pants 1.

The waist of the pants 1, that is to say the circumference of the trousers 1 at its size 8, can be modified and adapted to the morphology of a user, thanks to length adjustment means presenting the shape of a rear half-belt 9, which is known in itself, which can be set to different lengths and which is provided for this purpose of fastening means of the type "velvet and hooks", frequently referred to by the term Velcro ^® and not visible in the drawings.

Harness 2 is shown alone at figure 3 . It comprises a closed and not openable belt 10, which has rear and lateral portions formed by a strap 15 and a front portion formed by a curved bridge 11 of attachment of an external link not shown. Each foot of the bridge 11 is extended downwards by a flexible and strong link 12 which connects the belt 10 to one of two resistant loops left and right 13, each for the passage of a lower limb of the user.

In the example shown, one and the same strap 14 forms the two loops 13, the links 12 and the bridge 11. Each of the ends of the strap 15 is secured by a seam 16 to the strap 14, between the bridge 11 and the One or more of the straps 14 and 15 may comprise a central strip provided with two longitudinal reinforcing pipings and made of a textile product such as a perforated fabric commonly known as "mesh fabric".

Each loop 13 is held in shape by a seam 17 which secures one end of the strap 14 to another part of this strap 14. A sheath 18 threaded on the upper portion of the bridge 11 can protect this upper portion of frictional abrasion on ropes or carabiners.

In the example shown, the harness 2 is non-removable. As can be seen at figure 1 it is joined to the ski pants 1 by three elastically stretchable elements, namely a rear skirt 19 and two loops 20, each of which holds a loop 13 of the harness 2 at a leg 21 of the pants 1. In contrast of the belt 10, each loop 13 extends, in the example shown, between the outer fabric 3 and the lining 4 it surrounds.

Two slots 22 are pierced in the liner 4 and arranged on either side of the fly 5. In each of them passes a link 12 which thus passes through the liner 4. Each link 12 can slide in a non-horizontal direction, in a slot 22 where it is guided. The length of the links 12 is chosen such that each end of the bridge 11 is at or at least close to a slot 22, that is to say in the vicinity of a predetermined position with respect to size 8 and the fly 5, on one side of the latter, when the pants 1 is worn. In other words, by forming a guide for a link 12, each edge 22A of a slot 22 participates in maintaining one end of the bridge 11 in the vicinity of this predetermined position.

Each loop 20 comprises a band that forms a loop and whose two ends folded over one another are secured by a seam 23 to a leg 21 of the trousers 1 and, more specifically, to the outer fabric 3 of the pants 1.

The bridge 11 protrudes up the waist 8 of the pants 1. It is the same for the rear portion of the belt 10. As can be seen in the figure 4 , this rear portion is higher than the upper edge of the trousers 1, to which it is connected by the skirt 19. This skirt 19 is intended to cover the kidneys of the user and stops before reaching the front of the pants 1. It comprises a lower portion 24 that a seam 25 is secured to the waist 8 of the trousers 1. Another seam 26 secures a rear and outer portion of the belt 10 to an upper portion 27 of the skirt 19, an intermediate portion of which 28 interconnects the lower portion 24 and the upper portion 27.

The skirt 19 and the loops 20 may be made of the same elastically stretchable material, including textile, such as Lycra ^® , which is the case in the example shown.

When the fly 5 is open and the edges thereof are spaced from each other, that is to say as illustrated in FIG. figure 2 , it is easy to put on the pants 1 to the extent that the trigger guard 11 is deployed, which translates into an enlargement of the passage defined by the belt 10. Once a user has donned pants 1, he closes the fly 5, whereupon the edges 22A of the slots 22 together with the links 12 towards each other and, in doing so, place the ends of the bridge 11 at a predetermined distance from each other, such that the bridge 11 is bent. Following this, the passage delimited by the belt 10 is narrowed and the rear portion of this belt 10 is maintained correctly positioned on the hips of the user.

In case of traction T upwards on the bridge 11, for example following a fall, each link 12 slides in one of the slots 22, which symbolizes the arrow F ₁ to the figure 4 . Meanwhile, the loops 20 and the intermediate portion 28 of the skirt 19 are stretched vertically, in the direction of the double arrows F ₂ and F ₃ , so as to allow relative movement of the entire harness 2 upwards, relative to 1. This relative movement relative to the trousers 1 significantly improves the operation of the harness 2, the movement of which is not impeded by the trousers 1.

In addition, the pants 1 does not follow the harness 2 during traction T, whereby it does not compress certain parts of the body of the user, especially the crotch thereof, while his seams are not not overly solicited, to the point of being able to yield.

The harness 2 is the right size for a given user when the user has correctly chosen the pants 1 to its size. This is an advantage of the fact that the harness 2 is integrated in the pants 1.

FIG. 5 shows a ski jumpsuit 50 which is provided with a roping harness 102 identical to that of pants 1. The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above. In particular, the rear skirt 19 or 119 may be discontinuous along the waist 8 of the pants 1. It may also be replaced and / or supplemented by one or more successive loops which are united to the size of the pants and in which passes the harness belt.
