Abstract

The device has a base and a flat lamp-shade (A) pre-cut in a foldable semi-rigid plastic support of which different elements are folded and assembled one above the other so as to form the device. The lamp-shade is in the form of a disk and a band, and two straps are fixed at an interior of slits (F) for locking an assembly when the base is folded, where the straps are positioned at an end and the slits are positioned at another end. Description

The present invention relates to luminaire devices consisting of different shades each having the same base, all pre-cut in a semi-rigid support, such as plastic. These different elements bend and fit together.

Currently, luminaires on traditional bases are made of two different materials. The first, the shade material, is usually made of rigid paper or fabric. The shades are armed inside a wire. Inside the lampshade, in the center, halfway up, still fixed on the same metal wire, connected by three rods, is welded a ring. This is intended to fix the socket of the lamp. The second is the material of the base, which can be made of various materials such as: ceramics, pottery, metal, glass, wood etc ... The two aforementioned elements are connected together by the support of the socket, which is usually a metal tube, which encloses the electrical wire of the lamp inside. Generally placed on a piece of furniture, if they were to fall, many would break, or deteriorate depending on the type of material used. In the first case, it would be dangerous in a child's room.

The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It comprises in fact, according to a first feature, the use of a single semi-rigid material for all of the components of these luminaires. These can consist of two or three pieces: the lampshade, the base, and the independent plates.

According to a particular embodiment, the shades have three different types of folding.

The first, in the form of disc, with its various elements that bend, thanks to their folds, around an embedded plate of square shape in its center, necessary to fix the socket of the lamp and the base. This one is directed upward like a flower, with ceiling lighting.

The second, in the form of a disc, with its various elements that fold with their folding lines, and turn like a hat with lighting on the base, a square plate is independent is necessary to this shade to maintain it in position and also to fix the socket of the lamp.
