Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a can, in particular for the intake of beverages according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Conventional beverage cans are provided with closure elements that are torn open by the user to make an opening in the can. These openings are usually not resealable. Furthermore, various closure elements are known which allow the opening and reclosing of a beverage can. However, these closure elements are complex to produce and prone to error in the industrial application and therefore problematic.
Object of the present invention is to provide a can having a closure element which is resealable, which is simple and inexpensive to produce and which is easy to handle, with great importance to a simple and secure insertion of the closure element in a recess of the cover plate of the can is placed and a tight mount in the transition region between the closure element and the cover plate should be ensured. The closure element should neither affect the storage nor disposal of the can and be particularly robust. In particular, the forces and moments occurring during opening should be able to be safely absorbed. Within the closure element, a security element should be provided which enables the user to determine whether the can has already been opened or not. Also in this context, the mechanical stability is of particular importance.
According to the invention, these objects are achieved by the features of claim 1. Essential to the invention is that the closure element can be easily and safely inserted into the recess of the cover plate. This results in a connection in the manner of a snap closure, the at appropriate choice of dimensions allows a relatively easy insertion of the closure element in the recess, but there ensures a secure fit. At the same time the compound is liquid-tight, so that an undesirable leakage of the contents of the can can be avoided.
The assembly of the can is facilitated in particular by the fact that the circumferential groove of the holding portion is limited in the axial direction by a first projection, which has a support shoulder towards the groove and is frusto-conical on the opposite side. In this way, the closure element slides easily over the edge of the recess during insertion into the exception, without causing plastic deformation.
A particularly secure seat of the closure element is made possible in that the circumferential groove of the holding portion has a width in the axial direction, which corresponds to the axial extent of the first frusto-conical portion of the cover plate. In this way, a game in the axial direction of the closure element is avoided. In particular, it is advantageous if the circumferential groove of the holding portion is limited to the outside of the can through a second projection on which the bending edge is supported.
It is essential to the invention that a second frusto-conical section is provided radially outside the first frusto-conical section and that tapers towards the outside of the can and that, at a further bending edge, merges into a third frusto-conical section, which tapers towards the interior of the can. In this way, the spring action can be increased, so that even when using harder plastics for the closure element sufficient elasticity is given to allow a non-destructive sliding of the closure element.
In terms of strength, it is particularly favorable if the recess is arranged eccentrically in the cover plate and directly adjoins the edge of the cover plate. Moreover, this solution allows the consumer to empty the can without residue.
A particularly simple structure is achieved in that the closure element consists of an integrally formed base part and a screw cap.
A particularly high functionality in conjunction with a robust construction is achieved in that the screw cap of the closure element is supported in the closed state on the second projection. This ensures a safe end position when screwing.
For beverage cans, as described above, it is usually necessary for a safety closure to be able to detect whether the can is still originally closed or has already been opened. This functionality can be achieved according to the invention by a rupturable safety cover. In order to ensure the mechanical stability in an optimal manner, while the safety cover is a part of a plate whose edge forms the second projection on which the bending edge is supported.
Vorzugsweise besteht das Verschlusselement aus Kunststoff, insbesondere einem Polyolefin, wie etwa PE oder PP.Preferably, the closure element is made of plastic, in particular a polyolefin, such as PE or PP.
A stackable box can be achieved in particular by the fact that the lower cover plate, which is opposite to the cover plate with the closure element; a recess adapted to receive a closure member of another can on which the can is stacked. As a result, can stacks are formed, in which the cans are supported on each other and secured against lateral slipping of the tipping, without exposing the closure elements inadmissible loads.

The base part 4 consists of a plate 6, on which a downwardly projecting
In the disc 6, a
The
The
The
The
The present invention makes it possible to produce a robust resealable can by simple means, whereby a high utility value is achieved.
