Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic lid of a container with a Opening the lid used plastic closure.
- the present invention relates to a combination of the plastic cover a container and a closure which and from one into an opening of the lid insertable lower part with a closing foot and one on a pouring spout of the lower part screw-on screw cap, the edge of the lid opening has a ring-shaped circumferential web pointing towards the outside of the lid, which has the locking foot inserted into the lid opening is engaged, and the locking foot is U-shaped in cross-section and encompasses the web with both U-legs, wherein a groove surrounding the web is provided in the container lid, into which the outer Leg of the U-shaped locking foot engages.
- Such a combination of a container lid and a closure is from EP-A-O 620 160 known.
- the range is of a socket surrounding the opening sunk into the container lid, so that between a groove is formed in the nozzle and the surrounding container wall. This is essential wider than the parts to be accommodated in, because these are one when placed on the Have container neck widening bead edge, the outwardly facing projections reaches behind the neck. The lower end of the remains within the relatively wide groove Locking foot or a ring surrounding the locking foot still without more accessible.
- a screw ring for an aluminum container is known is placed on the aluminum container together with an additional outer container and thereby encompasses the edge of the aluminum container in a U-shape, with engagement elements are provided between the outer container and the locking ring, which is a relative Prevent twisting between the screw ring and the outer container.
- the lid In the case of closed-head filling, the lid is first opened without the plastic closure put the container on or a container is used that is attached to the lid or its top is integrally formed, so that necessarily an opening for the Filling must remain free in the lid of the container into which after filling the Plastic closure is used.
- the present invention also relates to Combinations of a closure with a container or a container top, if this has the closure opening and is formed in one piece with the container.
- the term “lid” is also to be understood as meaning that it also has one, the closure opening, with the rest Contains integrally formed top of this container.
- closure parts such as for example, the breech or even guarantee elements of the breech before Filling the container with the lid to be welded, so that you get a firm Receives connection between closure and container lid (slehe DE 35 28 815-A1 or DE 44 10 790-A1), is such welding in a closure that only after Filling a container is inserted into an appropriate lid opening, in general no longer possible or only possible with a special design of the locking foot and web, since from the inside of the cover not easily appropriate counterholders of welding tools can be applied.
- Locking foot in cross-section L-shaped, with an inner L-leg that one in roughly cylindrical, circumferential sealing web defined with the radially inner parts of the opening edge engages, and a flange part which on the edge of the Container opening or rests on the upper edge of the web of the lid and through the Circlip is held on this.
- Such a closure construction is, however, relatively complex since, on the one hand, it requires that the container lid has an axially relatively long, cylindrical web with a External thread is provided, and since the closure also has one Circlip required, which is initially made in one piece with the screw cap can be separated in use, however, from this, so that these are more complex Closures ultimately consist of three parts, namely the lower part, the Screw cap (possibly with a ring bracket) and the locking ring.
- Another disadvantage Almost all of the aforementioned container closures consist in the fact that the web and thus also the Closure must protrude relatively far from the container lid in the axial direction.
- an inserted, sealed in the web, cylindrical section of the locking foot still with one or more radially outwards provide pointing locking projections; through which the locking foot securely in the Lid opening should be held.
- fasteners have also become known in which the fastener foot in Cross section is U-shaped and encompasses the web of the opening edge of the container, just as this has also been known for a long time from tin containers, the instead of the web have a flanged opening edge of the U-shaped trained closure foot of a plastic closure is encompassed.
- the present invention lies in relation to the prior art discussed above based on the Aurgabe, an essentially only two-part closure in combination with to design a lid so that it has a high degree of security against manipulation despite simple design offers, furthermore, the tightness even under very rough transport conditions is guaranteed and the closure in use a safe functionality having.
- lock foot can be held on the web by the engagement of the outer U-leg the locking foot in the groove can be significantly improved.
- An embodiment of the invention is preferred in which the groove surrounding the web is formed in that a second web extends parallel to the first web from the container surface extends away and runs in a ring around the first, inner web.
- the Both ridges not only include the outer U-leg of the breech and protect it from access, but they also effectively stiffen the edge of the opening and thus contribute significantly to the closure stability and the tightness of the Closure, e.g. B. in case of falls of the container. That the webs are axially upwards Extending away from the lid surface is generally irrelevant since many such containers the outer edge of the lid anyway with a web or flange is provided so that the cover surface is lowered overall relative to the edge of the cover is.
- the bottom of such containers generally has a circumferential web on which the container stands.
- it is therefore the Closure of the container located below in the cavity thus formed on the Bottom of the container stacked over it, even if the closure area protrudes from the lid.
- the two webs provide in connection with the U-shaped Locking foot for an overall sufficient stability of the lock also stronger mechanical loads without impairing the tightness of the closure becomes.
- the inner web is expediently designed to be somewhat shorter or lower than the outer one Web, wherein in the preferred embodiment of the invention the difference of (in axial Direction of the closure) measured heights of the webs approximately the thickness of the flange part corresponds, which connects the two U-legs of the locking foot.
- the groove is not formed in that a second, circumferential web is provided, but the groove is lowered by a the area surrounding the edge of the lid opening, wherein the inner web Forms the inner wall of this groove.
- the entire Opening area, d. H. the area around the lowered groove is again slightly above the Cover level must be raised so that the opening edge in the profile is approximately S-shaped is. In this way it is ensured that despite the lowering of the opening edge Formation of the groove surrounding the web a good residual emptying of the container is possible because the groove area as a whole is raised relative to the cover level, so that it is behind the Groove walls only very little of the material to be poured into the container can accumulate.
- the depth of the groove measured from the the groove radially outside the lid opening surrounding area of the lid surface, larger be the height of the web, measured from the bottom of the groove.
- a variant of this embodiment is particularly preferred in which the difference between the height of the web and the depth of the groove roughly the thickness of the two U-legs of the locking foot connecting flange part of the locking foot corresponds. This means that the upper outer surface of the locking foot formed by this flange part is flush with the surface of the lid adjacent to the groove if the Fastening foot on the web or with its outer U-leg in the web surrounding groove is inserted. It is of course assumed that the axial length of the outer U-leg does not exceed the depth of the groove.
- engaging elements ensure that the Screw cap can be unscrewed from the pouring spout of the closure base without that the bottom part of the closure rotates with the screw cap, which is conventionally only achieved by Welding or is guaranteed by the additional but complex retaining ring, which holds the rotationally symmetrical locking foot on the web of the container edge.
- the anti-rotation device in the form of the engagement elements ensures problem-free handling Exercise the closure in use, especially when loosening a relatively stuck Screw cap.
- the screw cap can be used on the one hand for swellable filling materials that are inside the Generate a certain overpressure due to a correspondingly slightly expanded Pour spout in very tight engagement with the external thread of the spout.
- adhesive fillings after pouring out the Liquid part of the same at the top of the pouring spout or after repeated Use also sticks to the inside of the screw cap. If this is possible adhesive filling material gets into the thread area, the screw cap can only be used release with a certain amount of force.
- the engaging elements contribute to the Locking foot and thus the entire bottom part of the lock on the container or on the container lid hold so that the required force can be applied to the screw cap, without the bottom part of the lock rotating with the screw cap.
- the pouring spout is in the preferred embodiment of the invention via a protuberant bellows connected to the locking foot, the bellows and spout are dimensioned so that the pouring spout with the closure also turned in approximately with the surface of the Flanges part of the locking foot flush.
- engagement elements are preferably on the closure foot provided on the outer U-leg of the locking foot and the engagement elements on Lids are preferably provided on the wall sections or the bottom of the groove opposite the engagement elements on the outer U-leg.
- the engaging elements could, however, also be provided on the flange part of the locking foot and the web be and possibly even on the inner U-leg of the breech and the Web.
- an embodiment of the invention is preferred, in which the engaging elements on Lid in a radial top view (line of sight parallel to the radius of the lid opening) upwards tapered while the engagement elements on the outer wall of the outer U-leg taper downwards in a radial top view.
- an embodiment of the invention is preferred in which the inner Leg of the U-shaped locking foot on its radially outer side a circumferential Has ring bead.
- the web of the lid should move radially have protruding, circumferential projection on the inside which, when the closure foot is attached, the ring bulge is engaged on the inner leg of the fastener feet.
- the radially inward protruding projection on the web of the cover in cross section more or less pointed nose shape, so that a very narrow, almost linear and circumferential engagement area between the nose-shaped projection on the web and the outer surface of the inner U-leg results in a relative great pressure on this narrow engagement surface, so that this is a very good Closure tightness is achieved.
- FIG. 1 a part of an essentially formed from a locking foot 3 Lower part of the lock, with the lock foot 3 only recognizable at the beginning Bellows 16 connects, which in turn is connected to a pouring spout (not shown in FIG. 1) is.
- the locking foot 3 has a substantially U-shaped cross section with a inner U-leg 5, an outer U-leg 6 and one of the two U-legs 5, 6 connecting flange part 7.
- the inner U-leg 5 has in its lower free section Interruptions that alternate with extension sections 15 of the U-leg 5 and which should enable the container to be emptied as completely as possible.
- On the radially outer side of the inner locking foot 5 is approximately trapezoidal in cross section or triangular projection provided.
- the outer U-leg 6 is in cross section essentially straight, but has on its outside projections 8, of which in Figure 1 only one can be seen in the side view and will be described in more detail later become.
- the lower free end of the U-leg 6 is beveled 6 'and thus tapered at the free end and this bevel 6' also extends into the tip of the engaging element 8, which is the insertion of this U-leg facilitated in the circumferential groove formed on a container lid.
- FIG. 2 you can see in the detail and partially shown in cross section the edge of a Lid opening in with the closure foot described in connection with Figure 1 Intervention.
- a web 4 can be seen in detail, which has a circumferential groove 10 is surrounded and the one projecting radially inwards and nose-shaped in cross section Has projection 13.
- the upper end of the web 4 is thickened into a bead 4 ', this bead 4 'having a nose-shaped cross section, a tip or edge 13 defining projection, which has the radially innermost part of the opening edge in the lid 1 defined.
- the radially inner surface of the outer groove wall 11 has engaging elements 9 in shape from the top tapering or tapering triangles.
- the horizontal, the Section of the container wall that defines the groove 10 is designated by 12.
- the bead 14 on the outside of the inner U-leg 5 has the edge 13 of the nose-shaped projection on the bulge behind the thickened upper end of the web 4 and the upper, concave flank of the Bead 14 stands with the nose-like projection 13, which is relatively pointed in cross section in tight sealing engagement.
- the projections 8 on the outer U-leg 6 of the locking foot 3 are particularly clear can be seen in the radial side view according to FIG.
- the individual projections 8 arranged at a distance from each other that allows the engagement elements between them Arrange 9 of the cover with play, which is shown in a corresponding side view in FIG are shown.
- Figure 5 is a detail of a view radially from the inside of the edge of the Lid opening. One can see in the top view the web or the upper bead-like thickened Part of the web with the nose-shaped projection, the lower edge 13 as a horizontal Line is recognizable.
- the web 4 partially covers the engagement elements 9 so that they are only shown in dashed lines in their lower area, while the tips of these triangular projections fully visible and therefore with solid lines are shown.
- the pitch of the projections 9 is exactly the same as that Pitch of the projections 8 on the outer U-leg 6 of the locking foot 3.
- FIG. 6 is a top view of the gap which can also be seen in FIG handle elements 8, 9 between the outer U-leg 6 and the outer wall 11 of the groove 10 remains. It can be seen that the triangular engaging elements 8, 9 of the locking foot 3 on the one hand and the cover 1 on the other hand interlock with play. Also recognizes one shows in this representation that the thickness of the engagement elements, measured in radial Direction in which the engaging elements 9 of the lid decrease towards the top. Also this feature serves to facilitate the insertion of the outer U-leg 6 with its Engagement elements 8 in the groove 10 which surrounds the web 4 of the container lid.
- FIG. 7 shows yet another variant of engagement elements in a view similar to that Figure 6 shown.
- the engaging elements 18, 19 are projections that are radial The direction tapers in the radial direction in the case of the engagement elements 18 tapers outwards and in the case of the engagement elements 19 in the radial direction inwards rejuvenated.
- the engaging elements 18, 19 each have a constant one Cross-section. Sufficient play between these engagement elements is established simple joining of the lock foot and the web or opening edge of the lid securely.
- FIG. 8 shows a section of a closure inserted into a container opening, whereby part of the area of the container lid 1 surrounding the groove 10 is also shown and the closure is shown in section up to the central closure axis.
- FIGS. 1 to 7 it should be emphasized that a larger one is shown in FIG Detail of the lid 1 is shown, so that it can be seen that the immediately the groove 10 surrounding portion 1a of the lid 1 opposite the surface of the remaining lid area 1b is raised, approximately by the amount of the depth of the groove 10.
- the screw cap 20 which is screwed onto the pouring spout 17 is, the latter being connected to the locking foot 3 via the bellows 16.
- the screw cap 20 is also provided with an annular bracket 21 provided, partly via tabs 24 which can be easily torn by hand and partly also via Hinge-like, fixed connections (not shown) is connected to the screw cap 20.
- the ring bracket 21 is opposite the screw cap 20 is raised, the tabs 24 which can be torn by hand being torn off are and the ring bracket only with its ends on preferably approximately opposite Areas of the screw cap 20 remains attached to this.
- the ring bracket 21 one can intervene with one or two fingers to attach the screw cap 20 and with the Screw cap 20, the pouring spout connected to this screw cap via the thread engagement 17 pull out, the bellows 16 being turned over and the ventilation elements 25 can be folded down so that they project approximately radially inwards when the pouring spout 17th is completely turned out.
- the container For pouring out, the container is tilted or turned upside down, the contents of the container can be poured out substantially completely from the container.
- the inner U-leg 5 of the locking foot 3 which protrude a little into the interior of the container, are interrupted at their ends, like one can clearly see from the missing hatching in Figure 8, so that the otherwise, flowable material accumulating behind the inner U-legs 5 through this Gaps between the individual axial projections of the U-leg 5 can flow through.
- a small remnant of the liquid can still be found in the inner groove 29 of the cover 1 accumulate by lifting area 1a over the remaining area 1b of the Cover surface is formed, but the volume of this groove 29 is relatively small, so that little liquid can accumulate in this area and the container in is essentially completely emptied.
- FIG. 9 shows a similar variant, in which the opening edge is identical to that in FIG Figure 8 shown opening edge of the lid 1 is formed, the closure used differs from the closure according to FIG. 8, however.
- the screw cap 30 has an external thread
- the U-leg 5 'of the locking foot has a corresponding internal thread.
- At the lower end of the inner U-leg 5 ' is a membrane 26 with an annular membrane seal 27 over one of Hand attached easily tearable connection 28.
- To use this closure first unscrewed the screw cap 30, then the membrane 26 with the Ring seal 27 along the tear line 28 separated from the closure foot 3, so that subsequently the container contents are accessible.
- These types of closures are used e.g. B. for Containers of wall paints, in which the membrane during or after purchase 26 is removed in order to add color pigments to the color in the container can. The screw cap 30 is then closed again and the customer takes it the corresponding pigmented wall paint.
- FIGS. 10 to 12 show a further, particularly preferred embodiment of the Invention shown, in which the problem of residual emptying completely eliminated is.
- FIG. 10 which shows the section through an opening edge
- Container lid 1 represents that in this case the groove 10 is not reduced by lowering the Web 4 surrounding lid area is formed, but rather that a second, radial outer web 11 'is provided, which is parallel to that of the surface of the cover 1 axially projecting web 4 and radially outside the same.
- This will make the Bottom of the lid completely flat and allows the desired emptying of residual amounts, how to 11 also recognizes the example of FIG. 11, which has the same opening edge with an inserted one Closure shows.
- the two U-legs 5, 6 embrace on the one hand the radially inner web 4, on the other hand, the U-leg 6 also engages in the groove 10, the is formed between the webs 4 and 11 '.
- engagement elements 8, 9 are also provided here, which prevent rotation of the closure foot relative to the container lid 1.
- the inner web 4 is axially somewhat shorter than the outer web 11 ', so that when attached Locking foot 3 in this embodiment, the surface of the locking foot 3 approximately is flush with the upper edge of the outer web 11 '.
- the bottom of the container lid 1 is essentially flat, and also the inner U-legs 5 of the locking foot 3 protrude only with their interrupted sections over the inner container lid surface into the interior of the container so that they drain of the material in the container along the inner surface of the lid and through the Do not interfere with pouring spout 17.
- FIGS. 11 and 12 A special feature of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 still exists in the provided welding tab 22, which in turn can be easily torn by hand Bridge or tab 23 is connected to the ring bracket 21.
- This tab 22 is on the upper edge of the outer web 11 'tacked, e.g. B. by ultrasonic welding or Bonding. In the top view, the tab 22 is again highlighted by hatching. This will raise the ring bracket and pull out the clasp, including any removal of the breech from its engagement with the Effectively prevents the opening edge of the container lid, since the connecting tab 23 is used for this would have to be torn apart, so that a corresponding manipulation attempt afterwards would be visible.
- the opening edge of the container lid is 1 due to either the S-shaped cross section in the embodiments of Figures 1 to 9 or due to the double web 4 extending perpendicular to the lid surface, 11 'relatively stiff and dimensionally stable. This also makes it firmer, safer and denser Engagement of the closure foot 3 on the opening edge of the container lid 1 is guaranteed.
Description
The present invention relates to a plastic lid of a container with a Opening the lid used plastic closure.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a combination of the plastic cover a container and a closure which and from one into an opening of the lid insertable lower part with a closing foot and one on a pouring spout of the lower part screw-on screw cap, the edge of the lid opening has a ring-shaped circumferential web pointing towards the outside of the lid, which has the locking foot inserted into the lid opening is engaged, and the locking foot is U-shaped in cross-section and encompasses the web with both U-legs, wherein a groove surrounding the web is provided in the container lid, into which the outer Leg of the U-shaped locking foot engages.
Such a combination of a container lid and a closure is from EP-A-O 620 160 known. When combined in accordance with the aforementioned publication, the range is of a socket surrounding the opening sunk into the container lid, so that between a groove is formed in the nozzle and the surrounding container wall. This is essential wider than the parts to be accommodated in, because these are one when placed on the Have container neck widening bead edge, the outwardly facing projections reaches behind the neck. The lower end of the remains within the relatively wide groove Locking foot or a ring surrounding the locking foot still without more accessible.
From FR-A-2 760 435 a screw ring for an aluminum container is known is placed on the aluminum container together with an additional outer container and thereby encompasses the edge of the aluminum container in a U-shape, with engagement elements are provided between the outer container and the locking ring, which is a relative Prevent twisting between the screw ring and the outer container.
When filling containers with an appropriate combination of plastic lids and plastic closure are closed, there are different filling techniques, where one essentially between the so-called "open-head filling" and the "closed-head filling" differentiates. In the case of open-head filling, the Containers filled without a lid, and then the lid is already together with the one in it inserted closure placed on the container. In general, these are Plastic bucket; however, the containers can also be made of sheet metal or other materials.
In the case of closed-head filling, the lid is first opened without the plastic closure put the container on or a container is used that is attached to the lid or its top is integrally formed, so that necessarily an opening for the Filling must remain free in the lid of the container into which after filling the Plastic closure is used. In this respect, the present invention also relates to Combinations of a closure with a container or a container top, if this has the closure opening and is formed in one piece with the container. The As far as the subject matter of the present invention is concerned, the term “lid” is also to be understood as meaning that it also has one, the closure opening, with the rest Contains integrally formed top of this container.
While in the case of open-head filling, e.g. B. is possible, individual closure parts, such as for example, the breech or even guarantee elements of the breech before Filling the container with the lid to be welded, so that you get a firm Receives connection between closure and container lid (slehe DE 35 28 815-A1 or DE 44 10 790-A1), is such welding in a closure that only after Filling a container is inserted into an appropriate lid opening, in general no longer possible or only possible with a special design of the locking foot and web, since from the inside of the cover not easily appropriate counterholders of welding tools can be applied. One therefore chooses in the case of so-called closed-head filling generally more elaborate closure designs to this as possible firmly and securely to connect with the web of the lid opening. These more complex constructions consist, for example, in that the web is a radially outward-pointing one Flange part and / or protrudes far enough from the lid surface to To be able to use welding tools. In another known example, the web is open provided on the outside with an external thread on which an outer locking ring the closure is screwed on. The circlip exercises one at the same time Holding function for the breech plate and more specifically for the breech of the Lower part of the closure, with that part of the closure foot generally Lower closure part is called, which with the opening edge or with the Web of the lid forming the opening edge engages. Generally this is Locking foot in cross-section L-shaped, with an inner L-leg that one in roughly cylindrical, circumferential sealing web defined with the radially inner parts of the opening edge engages, and a flange part which on the edge of the Container opening or rests on the upper edge of the web of the lid and through the Circlip is held on this.
Such a closure construction is, however, relatively complex since, on the one hand, it requires that the container lid has an axially relatively long, cylindrical web with a External thread is provided, and since the closure also has one Circlip required, which is initially made in one piece with the screw cap can be separated in use, however, from this, so that these are more complex Closures ultimately consist of three parts, namely the lower part, the Screw cap (possibly with a ring bracket) and the locking ring. Another disadvantage Almost all of the aforementioned container closures consist in the fact that the web and thus also the Closure must protrude relatively far from the container lid in the axial direction. so protruding closures can, however, be used when transporting filled containers exposed to very high loads, which can lead to leaks or else require additional expensive measures to ensure the tightness of the closure, for. B. in the form of raised container sides that effectively form an indentation in the lid, in which the closure can be accommodated with appropriate protection.
In other known embodiments, an inserted, sealed in the web, cylindrical section of the locking foot still with one or more radially outwards provide pointing locking projections; through which the locking foot securely in the Lid opening should be held.
This variant, too, from which the present invention is based (see FIGS. 6 and 7) DE 35 42 769 A1), the web and the locking foot are axially relatively long. to the to ensure the necessary tightness. Incidentally, this known combination also protrudes from the lid and closure of the web at the opening edge of the lid in the axial direction protrudes far beyond the surrounding container surface, so that the closure during transport, especially when the container falls to the floor with the closure down, which through relevant drop tests to meet national or international requirements is checked, exposed to very strong loads, the tightness of the closure affect.
However, fasteners have also become known in which the fastener foot in Cross section is U-shaped and encompasses the web of the opening edge of the container, just as this has also been known for a long time from tin containers, the instead of the web have a flanged opening edge of the U-shaped trained closure foot of a plastic closure is encompassed.
This wear, however, is analogous to the locking ring already mentioned above an outer snap ring is provided on the U-shaped locking foot is mounted and holds this in snap engagement with the edge of the web.
Another disadvantage of the latter and other known non-welded closures also lies in the fact that the closure foot is twisted in the container opening is possible because the edge of the container opening and the closure foot are usually rotationally symmetrical are trained. Especially when the thread area of the pouring spout and / or the screw cap after the first use with the filling medium of the container in The threads of the screw cap and pouring spout can come into contact very much lightly glue, which makes unscrewing the screw cap difficult and in the event that the cap rotates with it when trying to open the screw cap, the opening of the container almost impossible.
The present invention lies in relation to the prior art discussed above based on the Aurgabe, an essentially only two-part closure in combination with to design a lid so that it has a high degree of security against manipulation despite simple design offers, furthermore, the tightness even under very rough transport conditions is guaranteed and the closure in use a safe functionality having.
This object is achieved in that the outer leg of the locking foot in the Appropriately engages in the groove that its lower edge is protected from external access and that in the area of the groove and in the area of the outer leg engaging in the groove the locking foot mutually engaging elements are provided, which is a relative At least limit twisting of the locking foot relative to the lid.
Characterized in that the outer U-leg of the locking foot in the surrounding the inner web Engages groove, its lower edge is protected from external access, which makes it difficult if does not make it impossible to pry the closure foot out of the container opening. this applies all the more if, for example, the closure is a bellows closure and the bellows is still in the Container opening is turned over. In this condition, the breech foot due to the internally acting support by the indented bellows, which is indented with the bellows Pouring spout and the screw cap screwed onto the pouring spout is a very large one Stiffness and dimensional stability. So if you take over by appropriate measures prevented from the bellows, the closure is well secured against manipulation.
In addition, the lock foot can be held on the web by the engagement of the outer U-leg the locking foot in the groove can be significantly improved.
By the U-shaped gripping of the web with the locking foot, it is also possible even without an additional locking ring, a tight engagement between the breech and the To produce the opening edge.
An embodiment of the invention is preferred in which the groove surrounding the web is formed in that a second web extends parallel to the first web from the container surface extends away and runs in a ring around the first, inner web. The Both ridges not only include the outer U-leg of the breech and protect it from access, but they also effectively stiffen the edge of the opening and thus contribute significantly to the closure stability and the tightness of the Closure, e.g. B. in case of falls of the container. That the webs are axially upwards Extending away from the lid surface is generally irrelevant since many such containers the outer edge of the lid anyway with a web or flange is provided so that the cover surface is lowered overall relative to the edge of the cover is. The bottom of such containers generally has a circumferential web on which the container stands. When stacking such containers, it is therefore the Closure of the container located below in the cavity thus formed on the Bottom of the container stacked over it, even if the closure area protrudes from the lid. In addition, the two webs provide in connection with the U-shaped Locking foot for an overall sufficient stability of the lock also stronger mechanical loads without impairing the tightness of the closure becomes.
The inner web is expediently designed to be somewhat shorter or lower than the outer one Web, wherein in the preferred embodiment of the invention the difference of (in axial Direction of the closure) measured heights of the webs approximately the thickness of the flange part corresponds, which connects the two U-legs of the locking foot. This means in Result that the surface of the breech or the flange part of the breech is approximately flush with the upper edge of the outer web when the breech is placed on the inner web and engages around the same in a U-shape, the outer U-leg engages in the groove formed between the two webs.
In a very similar embodiment, the groove is not formed in that a second, circumferential web is provided, but the groove is lowered by a the area surrounding the edge of the lid opening, wherein the inner web Forms the inner wall of this groove. At the same time, the entire Opening area, d. H. the area around the lowered groove is again slightly above the Cover level must be raised so that the opening edge in the profile is approximately S-shaped is. In this way it is ensured that despite the lowering of the opening edge Formation of the groove surrounding the web a good residual emptying of the container is possible because the groove area as a whole is raised relative to the cover level, so that it is behind the Groove walls only very little of the material to be poured into the container can accumulate.
In the latter embodiment, the depth of the groove, measured from the the groove radially outside the lid opening surrounding area of the lid surface, larger be the height of the web, measured from the bottom of the groove. This causes the Locking foot with its uppermost parts not or only slightly above the lid surface protrudes, so that loads on the closure during transport and rough Fall tests simulating transport conditions remain unaffected.
A variant of this embodiment is particularly preferred in which the difference between the height of the web and the depth of the groove roughly the thickness of the two U-legs of the locking foot connecting flange part of the locking foot corresponds.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention engaging elements ensure that the Screw cap can be unscrewed from the pouring spout of the closure base without that the bottom part of the closure rotates with the screw cap, which is conventionally only achieved by Welding or is guaranteed by the additional but complex retaining ring, which holds the rotationally symmetrical locking foot on the web of the container edge.
The anti-rotation device in the form of the engagement elements ensures problem-free handling Exercise the closure in use, especially when loosening a relatively stuck Screw cap. The screw cap can be used on the one hand for swellable filling materials that are inside the Generate a certain overpressure due to a correspondingly slightly expanded Pour spout in very tight engagement with the external thread of the spout. In addition, it happens that, in particular in the case of adhesive fillings, after pouring out the Liquid part of the same at the top of the pouring spout or after repeated Use also sticks to the inside of the screw cap. If this is possible adhesive filling material gets into the thread area, the screw cap can only be used release with a certain amount of force. In this case, the engaging elements contribute to the Locking foot and thus the entire bottom part of the lock on the container or on the container lid hold so that the required force can be applied to the screw cap, without the bottom part of the lock rotating with the screw cap.
The pouring spout is in the preferred embodiment of the invention via a protuberant bellows connected to the locking foot, the bellows and spout are dimensioned so that the pouring spout with the closure also turned in approximately with the surface of the Flanges part of the locking foot flush. A screwed screw cap, the End wall preferably protrudes in the radial direction beyond the closure foot, is then included inside the bellows and in their state screwed onto the pouring spout flat on the Breech foot and possibly also on the one surrounding the breech foot Lid surface.
In connection with the aforementioned embodiments, in which one around the lid opening and the web surrounding groove is provided in the cover, can also be alternately provided on the cover and the locking foot engaging elements cheap and effective accommodation. Engagement elements are preferably on the closure foot provided on the outer U-leg of the locking foot and the engagement elements on Lids are preferably provided on the wall sections or the bottom of the groove opposite the engagement elements on the outer U-leg. The engaging elements could, however, also be provided on the flange part of the locking foot and the web be and possibly even on the inner U-leg of the breech and the Web. However, since the inner leg of the locking foot and the web are as tight as possible Must be in engagement with each other to ensure the tightness of the closure an embodiment of the closure is preferred, in which the engaging elements on the radially outer surface of the outer leg of the locking foot and on the radially inner Surface of the outer groove wall are provided. A would also be suitable Provide the engaging elements on the axially free end of the outer U-leg and on the bottom the groove. This would also be concretely possible in that the groove on one or more Places is interrupted and at the appropriate point also interruptions of the outer U-legs of the breech foot are provided, which also makes a non-rotating Engagement between the lock foot and lid would be obtained. These interruptions do not necessarily have to extend over the entire axial length of the groove or extend the outer U-leg.
Starting from the preferred variant, in which the engagement elements on the outside of the outer U-leg and on the inner side of the outer groove wall are, an embodiment of the invention is preferred, in which the engaging elements on Lid in a radial top view (line of sight parallel to the radius of the lid opening) upwards tapered while the engagement elements on the outer wall of the outer U-leg taper downwards in a radial top view. This means that when touching down of the locking foot on the web, which is synonymous with the insertion of the outer U-leg the locking foot in the groove surrounding the web, the engagement elements themselves do not interfere with each other or only slightly, this effect being achieved above all when the engaging elements have the shape of acute triangles in plan view. At the Placing the locking foot on the web is then the tips of this acute-angled Triangles face each other and pass each other very easily, whereby in the case of a Simply touch the side walls of these protrusions of the locking foot relative to the lid is twisted in one direction or the other until the locking foot is completely sits on the dock. It is understood that the triangular shape of the protrusions is not strict must be observed and that the sides of these triangles are also convex or concave can be without losing the benefits of the tapered and tapered shape go.
In addition, an embodiment of the invention is preferred in which the inner Leg of the U-shaped locking foot on its radially outer side a circumferential Has ring bead. In a corresponding manner, the web of the lid should move radially have protruding, circumferential projection on the inside which, when the closure foot is attached, the ring bulge is engaged on the inner leg of the fastener feet. Preferably the radially inward protruding projection on the web of the cover in cross section more or less pointed nose shape, so that a very narrow, almost linear and circumferential engagement area between the nose-shaped projection on the web and the outer surface of the inner U-leg results in a relative great pressure on this narrow engagement surface, so that this is a very good Closure tightness is achieved.

in festem Dichtungseingriff. In Figure 3, the two parts shown individually in Figures 1 and 2 are assembled
State reproduced. It can be seen that the locking foot is U-shaped in
As can easily be imagined on the basis of FIG. 3, it would also have been possible

Eingriffselementen 8 in die Nut 10, welche den Steg 4 des Behälterdeckels umgibt.FIG. 6 is a top view of the gap which can also be seen in FIG

Öffnungsrand des Deckels sicher.FIG. 7 shows yet another variant of engagement elements in a view similar to that

und der Verschluß bis zur zentralen Verschlußachse im Schnitt dargestellt ist.FIG. 8 shows a section of a closure inserted into a container opening, whereby

Man
dergleichen definiert. In comparison to FIGS. 1 to 7, it should be emphasized that a larger one is shown in FIG
Detail of the
To pull out the
To pull out the
The engagement of the
For pouring out, the container is tilted or turned upside down, the contents of the container
can be poured out substantially completely from the container. In particular, in
In this context, it should be noted that the
die entsprechend pigmentierte Wandfarbe mit.FIG. 9 shows a similar variant, in which the opening edge is identical to that in FIG
Figure 8 shown opening edge of the
ein Verdrehen des Verschlußfußes relativ zu dem Behälterdeckel 1 verhindern.FIGS. 10 to 12 show a further, particularly preferred embodiment of the
Invention shown, in which the problem of residual emptying completely eliminated
is. It can be seen from FIG. 10, which shows the section through an opening
The
A special feature of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 still exists
in the provided
In both of the embodiments presented, the opening edge of the container lid is 1
due to either the S-shaped cross section in the embodiments of Figures 1 to
