Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a backup control device for a screen or an opening, such as a shutter, a blind, a grid, a window, or a projection screen.
  • a backup control device for a screen or an opening, such as a shutter, a blind, a grid, a window, or a projection screen.
  • operating devices comprising an electromechanical actuator and a manual emergency control system.
  • Electromechanical actuators generally comprise a motor and a gearbox placed on an output shaft of the motor, and a control unit for controlling the motor in one direction of rotation or the other according to a received control command.
  • a control unit for controlling the motor in one direction of rotation or the other according to a received control command.
  • tubular motors intended to be placed in a winding tube around which winds the screen operated, the output shaft of the motor rotates the winding tube during a command.
  • a so-called emergency control system allows to maneuver manually the screen normally moved using the electromechanical actuator.
  • the movement of the screen is obtained using a crank associated with a coupling and reduction device.
  • FIG. figure 9 A known emergency control device is shown in FIG. figure 9 in three configurations.
  • a vertical action F ' 1 on a rod 100 cancels the action of a return spring, not shown, and comes into contact with a conical wheel, not shown, connected to the rod against a pinion of a transmission device, not represent.
  • Maintaining the rod in the driving position is achieved through a bayonet type system which implements a pin 101 through the rod 100 and cooperating with a piece or nut 102 of complex shape.
  • This nut is fixed axially relative to a casing surrounding the rod, but it can be rotated by it and in particular by the pin 101.
  • the relative movement between the rod and the nut is braked by a spring washer 110.
  • walnut 102 includes housing 103 adapted to receive the pin 101 when the rod is at rest. It also comprises two stop surfaces 104 in a radial plane against one of which is pressed the pin 101 during a traction F 1 followed by a rotation R 1 of the rod, so as to prevent the rise of the stem under the effect of the return spring.
  • the nut 102 further comprises two lateral bearing surfaces 105 located under the stop surfaces.
  • the conical wheel remains engaged to the pinion.
  • the lateral bearing surfaces 105 are thus movable with the rod relative to a housing of the device.
  • R 1 When it is necessary to disengage this motor assembly, simply rotate the rod in the opposite direction to R 1 to align the pin 101 and the housing 103 of the nut 102.
  • the pin and the conical wheel resume then their rest position thanks to the return spring.
  • the use of such a backup command is simple and intuitive, including in an emergency or panic situation.
  • the realization of such a device is difficult because of the use of a complex shaped nut, the establishment of the pin which is very delicate and the long and precise assembly of the various elements.
  • the invention therefore seeks to simplify existing maneuvering devices and to provide a device easy to implement and use.
  • the disengageable element which is advantageously formed by a brake spring, serves both the axial retention of the rod in its second position and the release of the rod to facilitate its rotation.
  • the invention also relates to a closure installation, sunscreen or projection which comprises a backup control device as mentioned above.
  • the device 1 for operating shutters represented in figure 1 comprises a tube 2 for winding an apron 18. Inside the tube 2, at the level of a first end is housed a motor assembly comprising a housing 3 which contains an electric motor 4, a gear 5 and a position management device 6. A base 7, which supports the housing 3, is mounted on a fixed structure 8 thanks to a shaft 7a penetrating into a housing 9 rigidly fixed to the structure 8.
  • a ring 10 integral with the tube 2 is provided with an internal toothing cooperating with a pinion, not shown, which transmits to the position management device 6 the movement of the tube for determining the position of the screen.
  • the output shaft of the gearbox 5 carries a disc 11 integral in rotation with the tube 2 and adapted to transmit a rotational movement of the motor 4 to this shaft.
  • a compensation spring 12 is housed inside the tube 2 near its other end.
  • One end of the spring 12 is fixed in a stationary disc 13 inside the tube 2, while its other end is secured to a second disc 14, integral in rotation with the tube 2.
  • a shaft 15 supports the disc 13 and is fixed by means of a stirrup 16 to a console 17.
  • the apron 18 of the roller shutter can be wound or unrolled on this shaft and moved in slides 19, as shown by the double arrow T.
  • the rotational movement of the tube 2 corresponding to a closure of the opening equipped with the roller shutter is such that the spring band gradually, so that it stores energy.
  • the base 7 In order for the motor assembly 3-6 to function properly, the base 7 must constitute a fixed point.
  • the shaft 7a is extended by a conical pinion 21 which is received in the housing 9.
  • a backup control device 24 is housed, in part, in the housing 9. It is intended to be operated by means of a crank 26 and incorporates a clutch function, making it possible to prevent the crank from being driven at the same time. that the winding tube when the actuator is activated.
  • the crank In normal operation of the operating device, i.e., when the motor assembly 3-6 is operating properly, the crank may be detached from a drive rod 25 which protrudes towards the bottom of the housing 9.
  • the crank When the motor assembly is not active, for example in the event of a power failure, the crank is secured in rotation to the rod 25 in order to manually drive the shaft 2 in rotation, in one direction or the other , depending on whether it is desired to lower or raise the apron 18.
  • crank 26 When a user connects the crank 26 to the input of the emergency control system formed by the rod 25 for a manual operation, it must first engage the emergency control system by traction on the rod. In the opposite case, the crank can turn in a vacuum or be angularly blocked. Once the emergency control system is engaged and on rotation of the crank, the movement of the winding tube 2 results from the transmission of movement of the crank 26, via the rod 25, the pinion 21 and the spindle 21. shaft 7a, to the housing 3 of the actuator, and thus to the shaft 2.
  • the emergency control device 24 comprises, in addition to the actuating rod 25 to which the crank 26 can be coupled to rotate it, a conical gear wheel 31 whose toothing 32 is intended to mesh with the toothing 22 of the pinion 21.
  • the wheel 31 is mounted fixed in translation and in rotation on the rod 25.
  • this conical wheel 31 is disengaged from the pinion 21.
  • the toothing 32 of the conical wheel 31 meshes with the toothing 22 of the pinion 21 to transmit the rotational movement of the crank 26 to the shaft 7a.
  • a first return spring 40 is placed around the rod 25, between a first support ring 41 relative to the rod and a first support washer 42 fixed on the rod.
  • the spring 40 exerts an elastic force F 40 on the washer 42, this effort tending to move the wheel 31 away from the pinion 21, that is to say to disengage the teeth 22 and 32 from each other.
  • the housing 9 is formed of a base 9a and a cover 9b which are represented in assembled configuration at the figure 2 . Only the base 9a is shown in FIGS. figures 3 and 5 , while only the cover 9b is shown at figures 4 and 6 .
  • the lid 9b is pierced with an opening 9c through which the pinion 21 passes to engage with the wheel 31.
  • a second spring 50 in the form of a brake spring, is mounted around the rod, between a second support ring 51 free with respect to the rod and a second support washer 52 fixed on the rod.
  • the two springs 40 and 50 are mounted along the rod one after the other, so that the second support ring 51 bears on the first washer 42 of the return spring 40.
  • the turns of the brake spring are contiguous.
  • the washers 42 and 52 extend over only a portion of the circumference of the rod 25, to facilitate their mounting on the rod.
  • the two ends or lugs 50a and 50b of the turns 50c of the brake spring 50 are folded and protrude radially outwardly relative to the turns of this spring. These tabs 50a and 50b move away from the rod 25 in a radial plane.
  • the two tabs are offset axially along the longitudinal axis X 25 of the rod 25. According to a not shown variant of the invention, these tabs 50a and 50b can be angularly offset.
  • the brake spring 50 operates as follows: at rest, that is to say in the configuration A, its turns are clamped on the rod 25. Thus, a rotation of the rod 25 causes the brake spring 50 to rotate, at least on a limited angle. A relative angular movement between the two tabs 50a and 50b constrains or relaxes the spring 50. The inner diameter of the turns decreases or increases, which has the effect of varying the tightening of the spring around the rod. The spring is secured to or free from the rod, depending on the relative angular position of the two tabs 50a and 50b.
  • the base 9a also defines two internal ribs 63 and 64 for locking the return spring assembly 40 - brake spring 50 in axial translation along the X axis 25 . These ribs 63 and 64 form support bearings of the rod 25.
  • the first support ring 41 associated with the return spring 40 is held against the surface 64a of the rib 64 facing the rib 63, while the second support ring 52 is held under the action of the return spring 40, against the surface 63a of the rib 63 turned towards the rib 64.
  • the assembly formed of the two springs 40 and 50 and associated rings and washers 41, 42, 51 and 52 is thus received between the locking surfaces 63a and 63b defined by the ribs 63 and 64.
  • the end 25a of the rod 25 closest to the wall 9d is slidably mounted in a bearing 9e shown in FIG. figure 6 and carried by the lid 9b.
  • the housing 9 also comprises in the base 9a, ribs 66 and 67 forming axial retention stops of the brake spring 50. These stops serve to lock one of the tabs 50a or 50b of the brake spring along the X axis 25 and, thus, maintain the rod in the training configuration B. Thus, it is not necessary to maintain the traction force F 1 on the rod during all the manual operation time.
  • the translational movement of the rod upwards, that is to say in the direction of the wall 9d, under the effect of the effort F 40 is blocked, even if the effort F 1 is released. This situation is maintained as long as the rotation in one direction lasts.
  • the tab 50b then bears against the surface 67a and prevents the brake spring 50 from being translated, along the X axis 25 , towards the wall 9d.
  • the rib 67 forms a stop which makes it possible to counteract the force F 40 exerted by the spring 40.
  • the housing also comprises, in the cover 9b, two studs 68 and 69 of angular stop of the tabs 50a and 50b as they rotate about the X axis 25 being driven by the rod 25 when the turns 50c are clamped on this rod. These studs are respectively located along the X axis 25 at the tabs 50a and 50b when the rod is pulled down.
  • the angular stop pads 68 and 69 are integral with the cover 9b and, therefore, fixed relative to the housing 9 once it is assembled.
  • the pads 68 and 69 are provided in the housing to stop each lug of the brake spring in rotation, in one direction or the other.
  • the tab 50b When rotated in the direction of the arrow R 1 , the tab 50b abuts against the stud 69, as shown in FIG. figure 6 . In the case of an inverse rotation R 2 , it is the tab 50a which bears on the stud 68.
  • the studs 68 and 69 make it possible to limit the rotation of the brake spring 50 to an amplitude of plus or minus 90.degree. from the configuration of figures 3 and 4 .
  • the brake spring 50 can pass from an engaged configuration where it is clamped around the rod 25 and which is shown in FIGS. figures 3 and 4 , to a disengaged configuration where its turns are separated from the rod 25 and which is shown in FIGS. figures 5 and 6 , this disengaged configuration allowing the free rotation of the rod 25 for driving the wheel 31 and, through it, the pinion 21, the shaft 7a, the motor assembly 3-6 and the tube 2.
  • the brake spring 50 automatically switches from its engaged configuration to its disengaged configuration under the effect of the rotation R 1 or R 2 that prints the rod 25 and which brings one of its legs 50a or 50b in support against the one of the pads 68 or 69.
  • the axial retaining abutments 66 and 67 are advantageously located close to the rotational stop blocks 68 and 69 when the two parts 9a and 9b of the casing are assembled.
  • the two pads 68 and 69 and the two stops 66 and 67 are disposed on either side of the rod 25 in the housing 9. This is however not mandatory.
  • the housing 9 may be made of two or more parts, fitting to form the housing.
  • the locking surfaces 63a and 63b, the pads 68 and 69 or the axial stops 66 and 67 can then be made in one or more parts of the housing.
  • the implementation of the device 24 for emergency control by a user is similar to that used in the state of the art, so intuitive.
  • a user pulls the crank 26 and the rod 25 downwardly along a first traction force F 1 .
  • it rotates the crank and the rod, at least on a limited angle, in a rotational movement R 1 , or R 2 , so that the rod is locked in translation and can not go up, under the effect blocking obtained through the cooperation of one of the tabs 50a or 50b with the stop 66 or 67 corresponding.
  • R 1 , or R 2 By this first rotational movement, one of the tabs 50a or 50b abuts against one of the pads 68 or 69 which blocks the rotation of this tab.
  • the user then continues the rotational movement in a movement R ' 1 or R' 2 during which the rotation of the rod is transmitted, via the conical wheel 31 and pinion 21, to manually manipulate the assembly. of the shutter.
  • the brake spring 50 When applying the first tensile force F 1 , the brake spring 50 is pulled down, as explained above, by cooperation between the rod 25 and the bearing washer 52. Each projecting lug 50a or 50b of the The spring is therefore found at one of the pads 68 or 69 and at a plane slightly lower than one of the axial stop surfaces 66a or 67a.
  • the first rotational force R 1 or R 2 is printed on the rod 25, the latter rotates in a first step by driving the brake spring 50 in rotation, until one of the lugs 50a or 50b bears against a studs 68 or 69, while this tab is facing and / or bearing against one of the surfaces 66a or 67a.
  • the traction F 1 on the rod can then be released and the tab abuts against the surface 66a or 67a opposite which it was. If the rotation continues in rotation R ' 1 or R' 2 , the force exerted on the lug by the corresponding stud causes an expansion of the brake spring 50 and the rod 25 freely drives the conical wheel 31 in rotation.
  • the bevel gear and pinion can be uncoupled. It is then sufficient to turn the rod in a direction of rotation reverse of that implemented previously. This rotation in the opposite direction has the effect of removing the support of the tab 50a or 50b of the brake spring on the pad 68 or 69 corresponding and to release it from the surface 66a or 67a. The turns of the brake spring then tighten against the rod 25 and the latter is returned to its rest position by the effect of the return spring 40.
  • the rod 25 is locked in translation when a tab of the brake spring is completely engaged under an axial stop surface and before it comes to press the stud. This configuration prevents the rod is returned suddenly to its rest position by the return spring.
  • the axial stop surfaces 66a and 66b have a concave zone 70 for retaining the ends 50a and 50b of the brake spring 50 cooperating with these surfaces.
  • This concave zone 70 is reached by an inclined plane 71, so that the operation of the rod 25, to return it to its rest position, is facilitated.
  • the axial stops 66 and 67 and the pads 68 and 69 are advantageously provided directly in the housing 9 of the emergency control system 24, to simplify the construction.
  • the stops 66 and 67, on the one hand, and the pads 68 and 69, on the other hand, are molded with the base 9a and the cover 9b.
  • one or more specific parts could be added in the case 9 to perform the same functions.
  • Provision and removal of the crank end of the rod can be provided only when the rod is in its rest position.
  • pinion 21 and wheel 31 could have straight teeth.
  • the clutch between the parts 21 and 31 can take place by pushing on the rod 25 instead of pulling on it.
  • the brake spring 50 can be arranged not around the rod 25 but inside a tubular element integral with the latter.
  • the invention has been described with reference to its use in the context of an installation comprising a shutter. However, it is applicable to other closure installations, as well as to solar protection installations and projection installations in which a projection screen can be more or less deployed.
