- Procédé pour transmettre une information textuelle d'au moins un émetteur vers au moins un récepteur comprenant les étapes suivantes :Codage dans l'émetteur de l'information textuelle, laquelle présente des caractères d'un jeu de caractères originel, en données textuelles ayant un format de données défini,Transmission des données textuelles codées de l'au moins émetteur à l'au moins un récepteur,Décodage des données textuelles codées dans le récepteur etPrésentation de l'information textuelle décodée sur un afficheur du récepteur,caractérisé en ce que un tableau est stocké dans l'au moins un émetteur et dans l'au moins un récepteur, dans lequel plusieurs caractères du jeu de caractères originel sont associés à un ou plusieurs caractères alternatifs d'un jeu de caractères étendu, des données textuelles supplémentaires sont codées dans l'émetteur, lesquelles définissent à la fois la position d'un caractère dans l'information textuelle et l'alternative du jeu de caractères étendu, et les données textuelles supplémentaires sont transmises de l'émetteur au récepteur et y sont décodées de sorte que lors de la présentation de l'information textuelle décodée, le caractère à représenter du jeu de caractères originel à la position définie soit remplacé par le caractère alternatif défini du jeu de caractères étendu.

- Émetteur pour transmettre une information textuelle vers au moins un récepteur (2) comprenant :une mémoire (12) dans laquelle sont stockés les caractères d'un jeu de caractères originel,une commande (11) qui est conçue pour coder l'information textuelle, laquelle présente des caractères du jeu de caractères originel, en données textuelles ayant un format de données défini, etun dispositif émetteur (13) pour émettre les données textuelles codées,caractérisé en ce que un tableau est stocké dans la mémoire (12), dans lequel plusieurs caractères du jeu de caractères originel sont associés à un ou plusieurs caractères alternatifs d'un jeu de caractères étendu, et la commande (11) est en plus configurée pour coder des données textuelles supplémentaires, lesquelles définissent à la fois la position d'un caractère dans l'information textuelle et l'alternative du jeu de caractères étendu.
- Émetteur selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que l'information textuelle est codée dans le format de données RDS (Radio Data System - Système de données radio).
- Émetteur selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que l'information textuelle correspond à la fonction RDS PS (Program Servicename - Nom du service de programme).

caractérisé en ce que l'information textuelle correspond à la fonction RDS RT (Radiotexte). - Récepteur pour une information textuelle transmise par un émetteur (1) comprenant :un dispositif récepteur (23) pour recevoir des données textuelles codées,une mémoire (22) dans laquelle sont stockés les caractères d'un jeu de caractères originel,une commande (21) qui est conçue pour décoder les données textuelles codées reçues, etun afficheur (24) sur lequel peut être représentée l'information textuelle décodée,caractérisé en ce que un tableau est stocké dans la mémoire (22), dans lequel plusieurs caractères du jeu de caractères originel sont associés à un ou plusieurs caractères alternatifs d'un jeu de caractères étendu, et la commande est en plus configurée pour décoder des données textuelles codées supplémentaires, lesquelles définissent à la fois la position d'un caractère dans l'information textuelle et l'alternative du jeu de caractères étendu, de sorte que dans la représentation de l'information textuelle décodée sur l'afficheur (24), le caractère à représenter du jeu de caractères originel à la position définie soit remplacé par le caractère alternatif défini du jeu de caractères étendu.
